One of the greatest combat coaches of all time. His ability to fine tune talented fighters and consistently produce quality game plans for them is genuinely, (imo), second to none.
I agree and especially look at how he predicted Izzy vs Alex fight that even if Izzy is winning he can't slow down cause Alex got knockout power
Javier is so extremely likable. I can listen to him talk for hours

In the west its all about freedom and personal choice. But that type of lifestyle makes weaker and lazy because you dont consider harsh outcomes of your action. But over there in the mountains different bond. They care for each other so much that they willing to punish you so you succeed, correct the mistakes, be more disciplined. Pinushed does not feel hatred for getting punished but he understands that it will only make him better.

You immediately understand the greatness of coach JAV when he says 'I never target for 2 or 3 rounds of the fight. In my mind, I always prepare for 5 rounds. If it finishes earlier that's great, but we have to be prepared for 5 rounds whole.'

Islam is a bad matchup for Volk, I can see Volk beating a lot of LW's but not Islam.
Volk actually doesn't have much chance with any other top LW apart from may be Hooker and Tony.

Idk..I think Volk has a better chance than most LW. He’s very patient and can crack. Those small powerful abnormal body types are hard to deal with on the ground. And he’s not a Jits guy so he’s not going to be comfortable playing off his back.

Usman Nurmagomedov. Javier already said this in his short video. The most gifted and talented student that he ever had in his entire career of coaching. Still young and there is no limit for his development to become most complete fighter. Right now we saw Islam continuing his prime legacy. After this we will see complete fighter of all time. Russian fighter especially Islam need to finish the opponent's if not UFC will biased among Russian fighters like Petr Yan ..KO or submission..if split decision it's likely American fighter will win the match..Petr Yan clearly he dominated that fight..clearly in his opponent face..he's scare..omely seem shocked he not even run his mouth like always,after he won that fight..like always and he know he lost that's night..but UFC always goes on American fighters.

Josh Emmet Yair Rodriguez and Arnold Allen “destroy” Aljo? Don’t be so sure. I’m not even a Aljo fan but those weight cuts he goes through to get to 135 are brutal. Him being fully hydrated combined with his high level grappling and fight IQ don’t be surprised if he goes to 145 and looks incredible
The 145 division is weak now.
@@alcottdevalte7440 Ilia Topuria and Arnold Allen, among 2-3 others, have a very good chance of becoming champ at 145 in the next 1-3 years... Both very well rounded, with Allen much further along than Topuria. Alex, in additin to his well roundedness, also is a physical specimen & he will be around for another year or two, at top physical form... so I won't say 145 is "weak now." In actuality, it was weaker, when Max was champ because it's mostly stand-up guys... that's why Max made them look second tier, Max being so good in the striking. But remember how Alex humbled BOTH Max the striker and Ortega, the BJJ specialist: no, 145 isn't "weak now." Allen's stand-up is elite and his ground game is good, with Topuria being the opposite, with an okay stand-up and very elite BJJ... so, again, 145 isn't lacking when it comes to very well rounded guys moving up the ranking, in the next 1-3 years... Brian could sub anyone standing or on the mat, similar to Charles at 155, and Brian struggled against Alex... so I doubt Aljo would have an easier time against Alex at 145... although I agree Aljo's creative BJJ would make it very hard for most stand-up guys at 145 who don't have elite wrestling and BJJ to neutralize Aljo's good wrestling and elite BJJ....
@@sneakerhead2830 Sterling has a size and strength advantage over most guys he faces at 135. He won't have that advantage at 145. He's not an efficient wrestler at 135 so I doubt he will be able to take down naturally bigger, stronger guys with good takedown defence at 145 like Volkanovski, Holloway, Allen and Emmett. Rodriguez would probably be the easiest match-up for him but I think he gets knocked out by all the others. His striking is not good enough to survive with those guys.

Alex has only beaten 3 ranked opponents out of the top 15, and the reason he wants to move up to 155 is because of big money fights, bigger names and the challenge itself. Even Islam at 155 has beaten more ranked opponents than Alex and fought all types of styles, which isn't the case at 145 because besides Ortega, there aren't any elite grapplers that are relevant and no wrestlers as well. The lack of activity, different fighting styles and the overall skills at 145 has weakened throughout the years... I understand that there are some upcoming contenders, but they aren't relevant either as of now. Everyone has either gone down or up in weight class instead of staying at 145...

Why even interview the guy, he's gonna repeat the same things: - "Islam Makhachev will take them down, best all time blah blah Father's plan" - "Of course Russian fighter should have won fight, blah blah even Khabib thought so too" - I believe no one is better than Islam Makhachev. Someone remind this 'coach' he's part of the entertainment industry and the UFC is more than just 'take them down'. With his coachings the only that will 'go down' will be his own fighters legacy and his own legacy as a coach. Forgotten somebodies who knew how to lay on top of people on the ground while delivering sneaky illegal elbows. Want to be a better coach? Actually make your fighters get involved with the organization, sponsors, and fans. Give them a platform to propel them forward, this philosophy that people will give Islam Makhachev attention is just some false reality you live in.
