Opening a lock without a key is difficult and requires skill. In some cases the keys can be lost and it is very important to know how to open the lock without a key. That's why in this video we made a universal key that unlocks all locks. What is being shown is an old method and can still be useful in some locks. The thing missing, here, is the fact that the bump key has to be made before the lock brakes. So, you take out the lock, mark it off, and produce a bump key. It is just as easy to take the lock of, see how many points it has, and purchase a bump key.

How do you know the spacing of the tumblers if you can't get at the lock?

what about the "modern" cilinders where the grooves are small circles on the face of the key and no bumps?
You can't bump them yet (only a question of time tho untill somebody is bored enough to figure it out) but you can rake them. But yeah, the locks shown in this video are the easiest of the easy for pick by any method. *Some* of them even will open with an air pressure can you use to clean your computer with 😂😂 Tho i found that the cans you use to clean your drain with work better and more often ;)
Yeah you can totally get bump keys that work for a large amount of dimple locks (the horizontal keyway type of locks you're describing). - But you can't bump the locks that have a combination of pins and sliders, (another set of moving parts within the lock which also need to be set to their correct position and are separate to the main pins). There may be 4 sliders that need to be in the correct position as well as the pins in their correct position for the lock to open). - And you can't bump the dimple locks that are "pin-in-pin" - meaning each of the 5 or 6 pins has another "inner" pin within it, which will be cut to be set at a different height to the outer pin... Clever stuff, - it must be tricky for a locksmith to pick and open these high-security locks non-destructively...
bumping has been known for a long time. i have a set of bump keys for Kwik set, Schlage, Master and many others.
So tell me if am wrong but wont u need a key to start with to remove a lock if its in locked position or do people just leave doors unlocked

I'll remember this next time, instead of breaking the window I'll remove the front door lock and go to my van that has a shop in it and make a key for the door...reinstall the lock then use the key I made to get through the door, then when I'm done I'll show a big thumbs up so those that aren't supposed to see me will think I'm cool !

How much time do you get when the cops get you with lock picking tools.
During demonstration is the test lock upsidedown thus facilitating pin drop. In reality most pins are pushed up away from ground and pins can be aided by springs increasing downwards pressure on pins. Tools will work, requiring skill turning tool as you wiggle the tool.

While locks are generally install pins facing up in the USA, they are generally pins facing down in Europe, it depends where you live.
Those locks would just snap off, also many modern locks have anti bump features, plus some locks have sidebars so for this reason this won't open all locks in my opinion. Aside from that, not a bad toolmaking video for those who like to pick with there own home made tools.
I always snap them off even anti snaps will snap, customers are always shocked when they see just how insecure there house is

Donc si je résume, pour créer une clé afin d'ouvrir une porte, il faut avant tout démonter la porte pour en extraire la serrure, et ensuite on peu concevoir la clé, logique... 🤔

i love all those locksmith videos, coz they teach every single thief, how to enter our houses and steal our properties

Thiefs lack the discipline and cranial power to master and maintain those skills (they all are perishable skills sadly). Locks are almost never picked. They are either forcefully broke open or not hassled with at all. Why hassle with a lock when a crowbar or very long screwdrivers breakes your lock/dear connection easy as pie? Why hassle with a lock when you can just throw a garden gnome through the glass? Why hassle with a lock when you can just unhinge a cracked window?

@@dmitriyporisenkov7657 нет, прямой инструмент. Моторчик и аккумулятор. Думаю можно самому сделать. Предполагаю что отмычка движется вверх и вниз. И из-за его формы, можно повернуть сразу, не прибегая к помощи бокового инструмента.

Видео для дилетантов. Вскрытию методом бампинга уже много лет. Этот метод и в момент появления далеко не все замки открывал. Сейчас этот метод стремительно отмирает потому что современные замки от него защищены, и есть более перспективные методы.
Наиболее перспективный это ещё более старый - обычные клюшки.

Это очень долго и затратно. Надо немного научиться пользоваться отмычкой - в жизни пригодится. Для открывания простейших замков (на видео ) , научиться можно за день.

I remember that there used to be a time not all that long ago when KZhead was also showing kids how to prepare and inject heroin, as well as how to pick front door locks.! ( Not on same channel ) 😮 They even REFUSED to take down these videos when some of the parents complained to KZhead that they'd CAUGHT their kids preparing heroin after watching these videos..! There is.. its a very old post you either found the answer or broke the lock but just in case i'll answer. Keep in mind there are a lot of lock types and some of the ways may not work depending on the lock. From easiest to hardest: First try to see if you can see beneath the numbers. Some combination locks will have a bump or different color part when you are rolling the numbers. For example you may notice a red stripe in a black background. Thats a guide. You simply keep in mind where the number align with the stripe. Some locks open when you get the strips in line some others opposite side (heard about upside , downside ones but didn't see them) Second is by hearing. You slowly round up or down a number and you may hear a different sound. Thats the number you want. Depending on lock it may be one number up or down. If its actually a good lock chances are you won't hear a noise or may need a hearing aid. Third is brute forcing... you simply try the numbers.. takes a long time potentially.. Used all above methods to open a dead relatives combination locks. wanted to preserve things as much as possible but it has been some time i'm sure new locks are out that may have other tricks.
Which trigger lock? What is the actual key mechanism? A key, a combination lock or what? If its a combination lock you can use a feeler. Look up feeler for combination locks on youtube. If its a key lock you can use bumping but those almost allways open with raking (look that up, its the last key he made in this video) as well as they are super bad locks. And so on ... The "art" is merley to know what you are dealing with and the practice to learn it.

Thats about 60 years old its just a bump key and a rake. And definitely not all locks some And wd40 is a no no it glugs up your pin when the graphite powder get wet with wd40 once it drys up the lock is gluged up has to be pulled right apart and cleaned so your pins dont stick
