Any idea why when I install it on my AmScope SM-4NTP the corner of the image has a black spot like the optics are blocked?? I'm new to microscopes lol

Hello, can you somehow check that it really provides 60 fps at 1080p over HDMI? I've checked a lot of youtube videos recorded at 60 fps where cameras in similar price category with same sensor are connected directly over HDMI and set to 1080p@60fps, but in reality they all provide 30 fps, only cameras for 400$+ with similar sensor were providing 60 fps...
Would I be able to use this camera with my current c-mount lenses with my setup like Northridgefix uses? -basically just microscope camera to display.

Have you found a pdf manual for the camera? Or can you tell me if the 16:9 is the correct setting in the menu? Also, how do you get the max resolution as in OBS there is only default and custom. Other than that it is working great and your set up instructions worked beautifully. Thanks.
Yes 16:9 is correct. And if you don't see the 4k setting, try custom. If still not, then your capture card does not support 4k

My video capture card does support 4K as that is what I have it running at but was going to try the higher resolution if it was available. Or is that the default? Thanks.

On AliExpress there is identical 4K camera on Eakins microscope store. Is this the same camera with other brand logo?

You cannot plug in the microscope camera directly to your laptop HDMI, as it's not an HDMI input You need a HDMI Capture card, like I show in the video.

I have rf4 6565 pro and the camera is rf4 2k . I can’t get the same view in the camra . Samera view is too small like a half. I want full view as like in microscope . Is that a camera falt or lenz. I using 5x pro lenx under the camera. Any idea about fixing the view?
That's a different camera, so idk
If you used a 0.5x barrow lens, then you need to use a 0.5x adapter. Otherwise, you will get a black circle ring around the image.

Not all MS Camera will do that. I have 3 different cameras and 2 out of the 3 will give me a slight tunnel effect using .35x and a .5X Barlow. My IMX291 camera has a slight blur around the edges but not terrible. I have a IMX307 camera that is bulkier that will give you that tunnel/ darkness around the edges. I have my first MS Camera that is a Panasonic sensor- not sure which on but that camera is even more compact and there’s tunnel effect. This is when using the compact .35x adapter. I’m not sure about the older bigger style though.

is the picture in the video is 4K 30fps? I find 30fps for scope view is choppy, can you switch it to 60fps if it was not set up?
I only use 4k/30fps. Never tried 1080p/60fps

How much does it zoom without any lens other than barlow lens?
The camera requires a lens, as it doesn't have one built into it.
Your description of setting up parfocal was confusing to me. On my AmScope, there are lines either painted, etched or printed on the eyepiece tubes that denote the “zero” position. This is the procedure I followed: Step 1 - Twist each eyepiece out (lengthen it) until that “zero” line on its tube is just barely visible. Step 2 - Set zoom to maximum. Step 3 - Adjust objective lens height (large knob, or stand adjustment) until image is clear in one eyepiece. Step 4 - Adjust other eyepiece until both eyes are in focus. Step 5 - Set zoom to minimum. Step 6 - Readjust the eyepieces until focused again. Step 7 - Verify that the eyepieces remain in focus throughout the zoom range (may need slight readjustment of eyepieces). Step 8 - Adjust camera focus knob until camera is also in focus.
