  • After going down a long rabbit hole of fingertip mice I grabbed an Orochi V2 yesterday at bestbuy just to try out and though the mouse itself isn't bad, it's a total roll of the dice if the software is going to work with your setup and is going to be stable. Especially now that i've had issues and seen how many people have been posting about the same connectivity issues with Synapse. It didn't have an issue connecting with bluetooth or to the 2.4ghz dongle but it took over 2 hours on the first day to get Synapse 3 to recognize the mouse so you can modify the DPI beyond the base profiles or edit your keys. After reinstalling the app and drivers roughly 5 times with restarts it finally worked, but today it won't recognize it anymore and the fix can't be replicated. To top it off the dongle has big interference sensitivity so there's drop out even in ideal USB setups. Can't say i'll ever try a Razer product again tbh, it's wild how long they've had the same issues across product lines software wise. Definitely interested in trying a G-Wolves mouse though! I also have a Pro X on the way that was wildly on sale for $99 new on newegg. Appreciate the round up though mate!

  • Really good video.. im using a modded g305... Tried the orochi but my ring finger was messing the clicks and my grip.. maybe i will get the new hati S or the fnatic bolt around Christmas but so far finding it really difficult to find a mouse that checks all the boxes for me (or im just comparing everything with the g305 and im too stubborn to adjust)

  • Love the list, I must say the pulsar mini x2 is also fantastic for fingertipping if your hands are on the medium to larger side. I also surprisingly like fingertipping the small starlight tenz, although that thing is way overpriced.

  • Got into the fingertip preference with the original G303. Logitech sent me a G Pro wired when it started double clicking and loved the shape ever since. But the Mz1 is pretty much my current endgame next to a tailored 3d printed shape.

  • I'm coming from the G305(also G102 previously) so I've been a fingertip egg user for over 6 years now. Thought it would be time for a change but the Orochi seemed too small for me. That being said the Aria is looking like a damn good upgrade and it's on sale locally for $50. Lucky!

  • Great Video! I've used most of these mice. Fantech has the best sensor with motionsync slightly bigger version of Orochi. Orochi v2 is a beast but sensor placement may take awhile to get used to and there is some dpi deviation. Had the Orochi v2 for about a year but had to rma it because it kept disconnecting in game. Razer did replace the mouse for free. But the best one is the Viper mini, it's the only one here with optical switches. Viper mini has the best click latency, even better than a lot of S tier mouse. I think viper mini has the most steady grip with razer grips on it. Only issue with mini is the sensor isn't the greatest. G305 is a bit too heavy, not that comfortable but has same sensor as superlight. Xtrfy is nice but the grip not as flexible as viper mini imo. I feel really locked in on MZ1, maybe a good thing for some. The white one looks so pretty!

  • 0:35 the position of the side buttons doesn't fix that issue. The only way to find that issue is to use a knuckle fingertip grip. (inner knuckles resting on the mouse). It's also a better grip better than pure fingertip in my opinion. You can use the side buttons without causing unintentional mouse movements, and transitioning into pure fingertip is quick and it doesn't require any grip adjustment. All you need to do is lift the knuckles of the mouse. As someone who's been a fingertip user since forever, I wouldn't recommend the Fantech Aria, Orochi V2, or viper mini. - The thumb rest of the Aria and Orochi prevents your thumb from making contact with your mousepad and sometimes you need your fingers to contact the mousepad for that extra stopping power. - The Viper mini and any other mouse that flare out at the front are automatically terrible for fingertip. The worst is when a mouse has a front flare and a scroll wheel that's too far at the front. You can't comfortably grip that mouse at the front because of that front flare so, you have to grip it at the back. Now you can't reach the scroll wheel without doing some major grip adjustments. If Logitech made a G305 without those annoying rounded sides, it would be the best fingertip mouse.

  • If you really want to use fingertip grip seriously, there is no room for side buttons. They will force you to readjust your grip every time you use them because you lose an essential support point. Best mouse for fingertip in my opinion is G-wolves HSK Plus and even on that mouse you should not be using the side buttons.

If you like myself has 12cm wide palms it is gonna hurt within a period of time, and instead of getting better and better with the mouse. Youll just experience more and more pain. Its insane to me how you cant buy pc mice in different sizes. Its such and individual thing. Imagine if they only did shoes in size 40. This is average sir. You just have to wear it out :((((((
