Without a doubt one of the best looking jaguars around, 10/10 cool 😎 just stunning!
Man, what a wreck? The restoration seems very proper though. Lovely repairs.
I would hate to think what that beautiful thing cost to restore. Absolutely stunning….!
It doesn't get any better than this.
Stunning ! What a beautiful car the XJC was and this RestroMod only adds to that beauty. The guys down at Retropower are artists.
11/10! Those Retropower boys know a thing or two.
The XJ was a British icon, love your work 😍
Beautiful Jaguar
Serious car. I watch those guys all the time. They build some stunning cars.
I'm amazed the orignal car was still standing - more air than metal. Amazing rescue and mod, well done.
What a work of art. Beautiful craftsmanship!
What a beautiful car, 👏👏
In the colonies, we have really quiet, serene but limited access facilities for people who insist behaving in this manner... Piloted a fresh 1976 12C here 35k mi. My hat, leather shell and googles off to you. Simply heroic.
Excellent looking XJC
Wow stunning! The XJ coupe is one of the best cars to restomod
I liked the video to 1k... was number 1000!!! That means i have dibs if the car ever goes on sale 😎😂
RetroPower The kings of Restomods imho
The Seviour brothers, and their crew, aren't too shabby at their game, are they? 😏 In fact, they could teach a lot, if not most, of the pretenders across the pond on how to do it right.
Retropower knocked it out of the park with this build
These Jaguar XJCs one if the best looking coupes ever made and to take a rusty rough and turn into such a spectacular car what a fantastic job you did and l like the way you presented this video
My dad had a '76 XJ6C from new, and interestingly, although the brochure listed optional features as "none" (e.g., it always came fully loaded) he got the car with exactly the same momo prototipo steering wheel from the factory. However, his had the Jaguar horn logo in the center. Beautiful car!
Stunning job and a beautiful colour
Exelente trabajo me encantan los jaguars xj...saludos desde un lejano pais llamado CHILE 👍👍👍
That's a beautiful Jag and very satisfying to watch.
Sick❤
I love the project with the minor criticism that the front should have been more carefully extended and the panel gaps sorted. The interior is stunning, though and I love the colour!
whats the issue with the panel gaps? the guys that built it are pretty much perfectionists, so if the gaps are bad, either something happened after the build OR they physically couldnt be made any better
@@petelattimer6808 no mate. A craftsmen man make any panel fit perfectly or they can’t do the job. Fact. Panel fit is what makes a vehicle. How many people bye a new car and say that the panel fit is wrong. Ffs. Think before you make a. Fool of your self
Lovely workmanship throughout.
It has always astonished me that car tuners / restomod people have not used Jaguars. Hopefully this will show some what can be done
Maybe I'm thick but this looks to me like a Daimler. Beautiful job
I was thinking that too ! because of the grooves in the grill and boot trim by any chance ?
Yes it is a Daimler
Nice music to accompany a beautiful work of art restoration.
One of the best xjc its a credit to you!!
Love it , I built a similar car over 40 years ago, a series 1 4.2 manual o/drive and converted it to a tuned 350 chev and auto, Jag enthusiasts would call it sacrilege but I loved it, one of the best cars I've owned, this car is at another level though and I love the front end grille treatment as the series 2 lower grille always looked at odds with the rounded grille above. My car was stock body with no corrosion as in Australia we have no salt on the roads anyhow I just love the tasteful job Retropower have done but what else would we expect.
I had 1977 Jaguar xj6c in navy blue from 1989 DC to 1995 NYC. I got compliments daily and it was the most comfortable and classy car. It frequently would break down in style.
Absolutely stunning this car. Beautifully and tastefully executed by the RetroPower team.
Beautiful restoration.
super well done! congratulations !!!
Sorry I can only give one like. Completely amazing.
Beautifull job, love everything about it except for the radiator and lower bar grilles. A series one v12 style grille would really suit this car.
I watch their show eveyweek, the real deal ;)
A big job well done
Nice design
Wow. Love the car but lack your skills at restoring. Wish you all well .thanks for sharing
Stunning, the only change i would make is, manual gearbox
Very nice
awesome car & build
Breathtaking. Jaw dropping beauty
Very nice. Looks stunning
Awesome project guys!
Proper Mandom chariot....Sublime
Hello mate that's a fantastic job you've done on that. Very encouraging 👍👍👍👍
Wow
great
My God - That's beautiful
Wow that thing look so exotic
Wow. One of my favorites.
wow WHAT A JOB LOOKS AMAZING SIR take the jag of it and put your name amazing
Stunningly beautiful.
stunning,,,
That is a gorgeous looking car
Wow, beautiful what a motor.
Perfection ❤️❤️❤️❤️
IMPRESSIVE!!!
What a really nice car
I appreciate that more than any modern bought flash Harry car. Excellent work, fabulous car😍
Amazing
I really like this car very much
I need this car.😁
This XJ coupe is the bar. No pressure Harry! Is that a Daimler grill i see up front and rear!?
The Jag is just stunning. When you look at a Cadillac, you wonder what drugs the designers were on when they thought the sharp crease lines of typical GM design language, whick look like folded paper Origami, looked good.
What a Peach, wonder if Harry’s will come close..
Totally different what Harry is doing. Can't be compared. He is keeping the V12 which is really cool.
🤩🤩🤩
Just 🤯😍😍😍😍😍
Ok, we'll take it.....
SUPER BEAUTIFUL 🤩 🔥🫡👁️
Very nice car, but if it was mine I'd have to do the big cat wheel arches and front splitter
I’ve always liked this body style of Jag. Beautiful cars. They didn’t sell so well in the US. I haven’t seen even the 4 door on the street here in North Texas in decades.
Man I have never seen it's equal, and I am a jag guy myself. Did you really use and XJC as a base? What year? 74, 75, 76? Really nice lowering job, the back end looks long for a coupe' almost like a 300.
I'm thinking this is a Retropower build from 10 years ago?
So, has the roof been lowered? The pics give that appearance.
would be much nicer with the original grills installed, these ones look home made.
How did you get it so low? What suspension etc?
Why did you chose a 4 speed GM box not the 6L80E?
Artisans...
What a shame it doesn't really look like this. Complete with oval headlights and wheels!
Love it....but looks like a Daimler grille?
Look closely, this one was born a Daimler. Much rarer
@@Thomas63r2 Wierd that they changed it but this isn't for a true afficianado.
What's that color im digging it
Why the distorting lens? I initially thought it was chopped then realised I was being tricked by an altered aspect ratio. Oh well.
I thought same thing.
You can buy SWB floors now instead of having to shorten LWB parts.
Lovely but needs stroked 7 Litre v12
Would I choose that motor? Nope, is that simple the one and only thing I would change about the car if it were mine? Yep.
Simply*
Cool as fuk
I just want to know if it’s for sale
That wasn't a Jag it was a Daimler you can tell from the boot.
Oh dear, what engine have they put in it.????
Please can I have this car? I promise to look after it.
jeez what’s something like this cost to have done?
What was the bill
How can you go wrong with bones like that?
Would have been nice with a manual
Flawless restoration, but personally I would not have turned it upside down by lowering the trim and mounting those horrible alloy wheels ...
The heart of any car is its engine (Jaguar), take that away and it has no soul !
@IanFromCalifornia If your Jag v12 stops dripping oil, that’s an ingenious British system to warn you your oil level is low and needs to be topped up. Simple, effective, brilliant.
I think a well restored Jag v12 with aftermarket ECU should have gone in. Paired with a better gearbox (I still like auto for these big cats) it should make a more authentic feel. But I’m not footing the bill - they already spent $75k here and the v8 is lighter, better on gas, and easier to maintain.
