  • Great video but why is nobody talking about how great of a trainer Steve is? He is the back bone of the team and the way he explains and talks with someone he meets first time is beyond respecful and long forgotten in the marital arts industry. I wish I lived in UK and would gladly join the team just because of Steve. Steve knows his stuff and he is what the saying "with age comes wisdom" represents and should represent.

I actually think it's fitting, historically there are sumo wrestlers that's very lean in muscle and less fat, they're quite of an anomaly in the sumo world.

    • I vehemently disagree, I've watched every match for 9 bouts spanning 18 months and the sheer power, speed and control the top brass of Sumo puts into their opponents is no joke. If you told me a Sumo wrestler pushed a truck (4 wheeler not 18 wheeler) aside because it was in the way, i'd believe you. Don't even need to mention which. Aside from Enho Akira I'm sure most professional wrestlers could do it. And Enho can't because he's only 215 lbs and still wins from guys 3 times that weight and a foot taller than him. I want to add because I was incredibly hyped during it, but I watched Terunofuji achieve the highest rank in Sumo live, and man that was truly a match between titans. He went 11-1 for his matches and lost the last to the 69th yokozuna, Hakuho Sho, who's considered the greatest of all time @64366

  • Eddie sack the bodybuilding you can actually see you have focus, drive and determination for this, you’d definitely be cut out for this far more than bodybuilding. Give this your all, this competition just showed your natural potential. You have the size, strength, brains and competitiveness for this

    • I don't think you realize what real sumo is....what you see in this video is literally nothing compared to what real top division sumo looks like. I mean literally less than 1% of what the top sumos are capable of. They'd play around with Eddie like he was a rookie...Eddie would need minimum 3 years of dedicated daily training to even think about being competitive and he's already too old for that

    • @@anklebreaka03 well I’d fancy his chances better in sumo than bodybuilding, definitely doesn’t have the genetics needed for the sport, whereas he could get to a good intermediate level in sumo with a bit of practice. Would be a stretch to say he could compete in highest level but he would certainly fair better in sumo
