This week’s Closet Confessions is an ode to some glorious new pieces that have made their way into my wardrobe over the past month. I'm challenging myself to buy less this year, but I celebrated my 60th birthday in February, so many of these new additions are treasured gifts from my friends (and some are long-anticipated arrivals that I ordered back in December). That full silver with grey coat and hat is so fun - and although ziggy stardust as you said - it is what dreams are made of - brings to mind how it use to feel when dressing up when younger; and why not - because you look great - for sure you are going to be the bell of the ball. Love watching these styling clips and really admire Trinny's inherent sense of style. However one thing really jars in this clip and that is the way Trinny is wearing the hat! It's perched on the back of her head which looks so wrong to me (and very Boy George 1980's - not current Boy George). I was always told by my father who had worn homburg brimmed hats all his life that you should pull the hat down onto your head and pull the brim down so that it shadows some of your forehead. He also maintained that a hat should never sit straight on your head and that is should be at a slight angle. Please Trinny, try wearing the hat like that. I think it would look so much better!

Well. paula echevarría has a very similar jean in Primark, however the back of the waist is elastic which is why I didn't t get them. However if they look good on, maybe a seamstress can reverse this and take out the elastic and tailor them. They are nice, but that elastic put me off even trying them on, now I think about it though some tweaks might work.

Me four. Strikes me as a modern feminine chino, but still slouchy boyfriend. I don't like that color near my face either😔. This trouser has an incredible cut. Love it w/the white trainers, a longer tucked white tee vs a cropped one. How about an oversized white button up w/cuffed sleeves open as a light shacket. Some fabulous looks there Trinny. Maybe the big boots & all silver Boy George ensemble was a sparkle too far for me. However, you somehow manage to make everything work.
1. I LOOOOOVE that you're doing a low buy. So adds to the creativity, and the retirement plan. 2. How do you decide what to cull? I've made some editing mistakes. I'd keep everything but then I'd have to get a bigger house!

I love the beige trousers. Can't beat a pair of wide chino style trousers for the summer. I'm not keen on the print on the vampires wife dress though. It looks too like peacock's tail eyes for me! Trinny has far nicer ones.
I've gone baggier on the wide leg jean, high cut, and Im loving it. You definitely have to wear a pointy shoe or else it fails.

Really lovely looks in my book - except for the silver/grey/all silver which is not to my taste. (I don't like it when Trinny looks a figure of fun). But even the 'vampire's wife' dress, a style I usually loathe, looked elegant and flattering, possibly because the sleeves were slightly longer, the fit perfect, the pattern delightful, and it was not made from ghastly sequins. But the new shoes are superb, the jeans all flattering and well cut, and the final jeans jacket get up with new brooch and tailored turn ups is so stylish it is a joy to see. The girls were bang on to say 'no' to beige trousers...

You're meant to 👁👁watch on a cell 📲 or tablet that you can hold portrait ↕️. It's not shot for TV or regular computer monitors 🖥. For full length head-to-toe landscape ↔️ looks, the camera would have to be too far back. That way, we might lose important details. Plus, logistically that might not work for filming in tight spaces. To go back & forth between the two formats would be dizzying & would likely require more editing. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

I love all the silver and sparkles, but don't knock black and sparkles or navy and sparkles- those combos are GORGEOUS because it reminds us of the night sky and you can't beat that for beauty. The wide leg trousers are great but the color is blah. Love the patterned Vampire's wife dress.

Hi Trinny, Your channel rocks , you are the Picasso of styling . When you show jeans do you mind filming more POV shots from the backside showing both pockets and or both bum sides together ? It's very difficult to see how they truly look with the half side shots. Love and Respect xx

I love the black shoe! I have a similar one that I love but…. I find that I walk right out of it! So I found myself gripping on with my toes 😮 so not good. So just beware but you look wonderful 😊
