I loved when Link said "yippee let's get me the rupees" and then got all the rupees

With Tears of The Kingdom's release, I wanted to challenge myself by replaying just about every Zelda game out there, and seeing just how fast I can collect one single useless rupee!
This isn't a Tears of The Kingdom Speedrun, and there aren't any Tears of The Kingdom Tips and Secrets, but it is similar to "How Fast Can You ___ In Every Zelda Game?"

You killed my brother the stone talus
NO 😭😭😭🗿
In BOTW, you can get a green rupee under the first two rocks past the old man, but it's completely random.
True lol it happens to me one time and I laughed I thought there is no ruppes in the great plateau not at old man rocks but near the red bokos near the great plateau!
Made it 1k because it’s 3am
@@Zelda_and_nintendo_fanthere also are rupees under some rocks near the shrine that is guarded by the two guardians (bomb shrine I think)
Wouldn't you be happy to know there is literally a cave full of green rupees in Totk
oh and sadly there is a box with nothing but a useless bottle
@@StrangeMann283 and the ember trousers, and a side quest
@@PortersYT3008fierce deity sword?
@@funnybones98 that IS the side quest
Fierce Deity quest cave, that was my first thought too lmao
1:59 “And we get 2, 2 what? Beats me but we got 2” That made me laugh
Those are experience points thou. He did not collect money
I think that not doing a "How fast can you break pottery in every Zelda game" run in the future would be an incredible missed opportunity.
Better yet, how fast can you do a crime in every Zelda game
@@YT-AlexTM Hyrulean law allows anyone wearing a pointy green hat to legally break pottery.
@@keiyakinsso Botw Link is gonna be a wanted criminal until pretty much the end of the game then
Honestly, my first thought with BoTW was to gtfo the plateu as fast as possible then find and shoot a Blupee, since they always drop rupees (Blupees also drop rupees in ToTK), though watching your trial by rock was fun.
I had literally no idea! 6 years of BotW and TotK and still get to learn new random things like that
I SWEAR FOUND A GREEN ONE IN THE GRASS
Same lol
Yiga clan members also drop rupees, I think they are the only enemy type that does.
@@EliJakobable yiga members dont open till you beat kohga
Now all we need is a How Fast to get the Master Sword in Every Zelda Game
dylan... you're a genius
@@Shyntosplease do it! Your fucking hilarious
how would you handle the games that start you with it in the intros?
there is a problem... a good chunk of zelda games dont have a master sword D: some of them have the four sword, and the first game just has the "white sword" but it looks the part so you could pretend
@@HeyitsEkim yeah but then he’ll either skip those or make fun of them
I love Rupoor's; those were so well done, especially with Link's face
2:12 had me laughing at "lunkle" more than i reasonably shouldve
does this guy know in TOTK you can just shoot the blue bunnies outside of caves for a green rupee? also, you forgot four swords and I hate you
thanks for watching the video and feeding me information and knowledge I am truly very grateful :) if you'd like to see how long each game took, watch the short I made: kzhead.infogU4B6BJQHEU next rupee video I will include the timer! my apologies on classifying Four Swords Adventures as not a mainline game! I thought otherwise, but thank you for letting me know about that and I will definitely be including Four Swords, Age of Calamity, Cadence of Hyrule, and more in the next video. feel free to let me know what other games you'd want to see! THANK YOU!
in TOTK I was pretty sure I got a green rupee on the tutorial island so I was mega confused by that part. (if not in the tutorial it was 100% my first rupee, and I failed at shooting the bluppies a ton so I got many rupees before them buns) Anyways good vid
you can also deafeat yigas four green rupies
Rn a friend of mine a cave full of chests that has nothing but green rupees. I’ll get back to you after confirmation of where they are.
Ok I found it misko’s cave of chests cephila lake cave at Eldin’s Canyon
"Its not even green the poor soul must have been colorblind" that line broke me
Side note about the Oracle games. You start with the sword immediately in either Ages or Seasons after completing the other game and linking the two together. So no matter which game you start with you're always going to have to find the sword
I was not ready for that, Mario kart drop to actually mean something.
Yeah that hit me out of left field lmao
13:28 in totk in the elden region, there is a cave from the great bandit misko. there should be two poeple outside of it that you need to talk to first and there are like 30 chests all with a singular green rupee in it
Or just shoot a bluepee with an arrow
There are also multiple chests in the castle town ruins with green rupees
my paradise awaits
@@KeinNiemand you can also fight yiga they drop green and blue rupees
Wake up babe, new Shyntos just dropped
JO THANK YOUUU FOR THE SUPPORT BROTHER
How did you get into my house

What about a "how fast can you smash a pot in every zelda game?"
Zelda 1 and 2: EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
correction in link's awakening dx: in the color dungeon specific to the dx version there is a secret room that is full of green rupees (that count for 5 rupees lol)
The easiest way to get green rupees in BotW and TotK is finding Blupees (the glowing blue jackalopes) and shooting them witu an arrow.
I feel like killing the Yiga Clan peeps is also pretty good
@@dukeofburgerz5225 Not nearly as fast, though. You can find a blupee pretty much right after you drop off of the tutorial sky island.
@@Mightylcanis blupees hang out in front of caves so I bet you can even find one on the tutorial island in front of the forge cave.
I don't think there's a Blupee in BOTW's Great Plateau. Nor Yiga Clanners.
@ caves don't exist in BotW at all.
Man, I love that you played, the aptly titled, "The Edge of Green" from Radiant Historia on a video about Green Rupees.
I'm impressed, I didn't expect a challenge video to be this funny, your comedic timing is incredible!
Thanks Kiki for robbing us
No one tell him about the cave filled with nothing but chests with green rupee's in tears of the kingdom
Bro that'd take so long to get to, it's easier to just cut grass (cutting grass and lifting rocks rarely gives you rupees)
@@angelafwuffycuddles5806 but at least it gives you multiple green rupee's instead of just 1 or 2
This was a really well edited and well written video. Hilarious
thank you so much!
3:28 OH, so that's where the korok rock puzzle came from.
8:17 caught me off guard there is some kinda of football thing going on nearby, just people watching football and RIGHT as the rupee appeared they started cheering really REALLY loud lol
I LOVE this video and the idea for it. Super glad I found your channel. I also love your humor this video had me laughing multiple times.
holy shit you just gotta love coming across small channels with amazing video quality/production and original ideas. instantaneous sub.
thank you so much!!
SeamJ Ch did this with hearts first
8:31 Ok why does the "Bad Morning" ost from OMORI fit so well in The Legend of Zelda 💀
I love the way you edit this video it was really entertaining and funny!!
I challenge you to do the reverse of this episode, see how long you can play any zelda game without getting a rupee
Can we just take a moment to appreciate all the rocks, pots, and grass that gave their lives to hide the rupees.
I'm only partway into the video and I already enjoyed this immensely! Keep it up, you just gained a new subscriber. Already looking forward to future videos. After finishing video: This is unironically one of the best pieces of content I've seen on this platform. Well done sir.
Got this video recommended on tiktok, I really wanted to finish the video afterwards and I'm glad I did
In a link to the past, it actually takes 110 rupees to open the dark palace. It takes 10 for Kiki to follow you, and 100 for him to open the door
Awesome vid BTW the only green rupee i've found in ToTK is when you rebuild the coastal town and enter the gambling shop one of the three chests contains a green rupee. 👍👍
The one under the rock in botw made me emotional
I like that you included a couple of side games, but it's a little strange that you didn't show Four Swords. It's a main series Zelda game. So is Four Swords Adventures, not sure why you said that one wasn't.
Yeah
you can get rubies (including green ones) by putting a iron crate into the max height and dropping it, it was pain watching him grab it and not dropping it at a higher point ;-;
That Majora's Mask bit speaks to me on a visceral level.
Your editing and jokes are amazing, very good video man 😊
thank you!
This video is hilarious and so well made! I had so much fun watching! Please do this again with other rupee colours!
I really thought you had more subscribers. I guess I was blinded by the great content you’ve made over the past few years and just thought you had more 😅. You make really good, high-quality content. Keep up the great work because one day, more people will see your great content 😊
thank you! I'll look back on this comment when I have 1 billion subscribers :)
same i thought this video had like 100k or more views until i saw ur comment
It really didn't make sense to me that the first zelda's rupees are flashing but the better ones don't but then i realized yellow + blue = green
Awesome! Id love to see a video on how fast you can collect every rupee type in every zelda game
Legend of Zelda can be played two ways: 1. Beat the dungeons, save Zelda, defeat the big evil tormenting the world 2. Destroy the economy by smashing pots and mowing lawns.
_"A single rupee. Its soft green glow puts a smile on your face."_ Never has a truer fact been uttered in the history of humanity.
Minish cap is such a good game
First time aeeing this channel and i already love it. Stupid speedruns are my favorite.
I appreciate the Radiant Historia music you put while fighting the Talus. Dunno how it related to anything, but I love that game.
Really good game!
dude you are so funny, i was genuinely surprised to see that you don't have a ton of subscribers. but you definitely gained one from me
Idk how much this counts, but a secret room in the color dungeon of link's awakening dx has some greenish rupees in it (they definitely aren't the regular, 1 worth kind though)
cross bow training, i'll leave it at that
so brave
its 1:30 am but i just found your channel and i think i have to watch every single video of yours now because this video is fuckin fantastic, amazing editing, amazing humour, i will be forever thankful for the almighty algorithm for suggesting this video and your channel to me
This is so funny holy god
I love the rivals of aether music in the background near the beginning
14:30 Hey, that's BGM from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, ain't it? Daemon's Court!
"How'd you get down there" don't know why but I keep giggling at that bit. Fun video!
Super unrelated, but at 14:30 I was really stoked that you played some Crystal Chronicles music! That's all ❤️
Nice spirited away music near the end where he almost suffers
I kind of want to see a speed run of rupee% for all games back to back
first video i watched from you and it was so funny fr
Kiki, you actually have to give 110 Rupees (10 for him to follow you, 100 to open the dungeon) As for first Zelda, you can get a Rupee without killing. Carefully make your way to the upper right corner and you’ll get 100 from the Moblin.
Killer vid. Subbed
I love the hesitation in Twilight Princess right as he picks up the rock
Can you get every master sword next?
The Risk of Rain music at the end had me SO HYPE you would not believe it.
Funniest part is that in both BotW and TotK I constantly find green rupees just by picking up rocks. Not to mention shooting the blue bunny guys.
I enjoyed watching this thoroughly, great video!
Thank you!
Lack of heart and rupee drops took me a while to understand when I first played BotW, every classic Zelda overwhelms you with both and rupees are rarely necessary. I slowly started leaning on food and trading and eventually got used to that. I was at least a dozen hours in before I found my first wild rupee under a rock, having been totally convinced they just never spawn in the world up to that point. They are definitely more common in TotK, as are the Blupees. I only remember the one outside Cotera's fountain before, but have found at least half a dozen randomly now.
There's a cave in Akkala that starts the sidequest for the Fierce Deity Armor that has about 2 dozen chests, one has a gear piece and a note and all the others each have a single green rupee each
Awesome video, this was super original and was worth the wait. Can’t wait to see more!! 👍👍🎉
I'd love to make another one if there's interest!!
Didn’t seamJ Ch do this with hearts first
i’m not sure if it’s consistently faster, but in Link’s Awakening for Switch you can actually get a green rupee from Ukiki (the coconut throwing monkey) before you even get your sword. just walk right on the beach
Nice music choice for the last green rupee
idk who you are but this is a banger video like ur editing is great so im gonna go check out ur other stuff 👍
No one say anything about the color dungeon in link’s awakening dx with the green rupee room
LOTS of green rupees in a cave close to an akkala stable for totk
Link's Awakening DX actually does have Green Rupees, they're in a hidden room inside the color dungeon where instead of being worth 1 like usual, I think they made them worth 5
In Totk, you can find weird glowing blue rabbits and if you shoot one they drop rubies, usually green ones
Hyrule warriors legends is the only version I played, but now that the 3ds shop closed down and I forgot to buy the dlc I might get the definitive edition one of these days...
Was not expecting FFCC appreciation at 14:30, very nice!
in BOTW there's some pots in the temple of time
MM doesn't truly start until you get the master sword. Everyone knows that.
actually facts
12:49 wait I thought that age of calamyty and legends where the only hyrule warriors lol
The song at the beginning is from a game called Rivals of Aether
Fighting Yiga clan members is pretty much guarenteed some sort of rupee, not necessarily green but that would be my strat
This was beautiful
you're beautiful, starmaster65
SELL THE PANTS
For TOTK you can find green rupees in a few ways, last time I got one was from killing a yiga, he dropped bananas and blue and green rupees
2:55, is that Emma's Theme from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y? BASED!
4:04 I never thought I'd have to hear the Dragon Quest 9 alchemy pot theme in this video but here we are
Entertaining, and Fun.
This vid is hilarious I love it
In TOTK you can shoot the bunny things that run at bubble frog caves they drop green, blue and red rupees
In tears if the kingdom all the little glowing bunnies drop greens when you shoot them with an arrow. Sick vid though
I like this guy
who are you?
I come from the chest
the edits are rlly funny lol
"Two what? Beats me, but we got 2" 😭
love these funny videos, thanks kiki
Do it with the highest worth rupee in each game would be good great vid nice work on it
Fun fact, not only is "UNK" visually similar to "LINK" but L is the 12th letter of the alphabet, and I is the 9th, add them together you get 21, and U is the 21st letter. (I was so confident that this was your resoning for UNK, that I didn't actually bother to confirm which number L or I was until writing this, and they turned out to be correct. Then I realized that was all luck and not your reason...
I'm not nearly smart enough to account for that lmao but that' so cool, I will say you are right about me choosing UNK because it is visually similar, you smash the 'LI' together and it looks like a blocky 'U'
@@Shyntos Lol I was a bit confused when I realized that LI looks like U, as I was so convinced that the reason was because of 12 and 9 lol
