With Tears of The Kingdom's release, I wanted to challenge myself by replaying just about every Zelda game out there, and seeing just how fast I can collect one single useless rupee!
This isn't a Tears of The Kingdom Speedrun, and there aren't any Tears of The Kingdom Tips and Secrets, but it is similar to "How Fast Can You ___ In Every Zelda Game?"

  • Lack of heart and rupee drops took me a while to understand when I first played BotW, every classic Zelda overwhelms you with both and rupees are rarely necessary. I slowly started leaning on food and trading and eventually got used to that. I was at least a dozen hours in before I found my first wild rupee under a rock, having been totally convinced they just never spawn in the world up to that point. They are definitely more common in TotK, as are the Blupees. I only remember the one outside Cotera's fountain before, but have found at least half a dozen randomly now.

  • Fun fact, not only is "UNK" visually similar to "LINK" but L is the 12th letter of the alphabet, and I is the 9th, add them together you get 21, and U is the 21st letter. (I was so confident that this was your resoning for UNK, that I didn't actually bother to confirm which number L or I was until writing this, and they turned out to be correct. Then I realized that was all luck and not your reason...

    • I'm not nearly smart enough to account for that lmao but that' so cool, I will say you are right about me choosing UNK because it is visually similar, you smash the 'LI' together and it looks like a blocky 'U'

    • @@Shyntos Lol I was a bit confused when I realized that LI looks like U, as I was so convinced that the reason was because of 12 and 9 lol
