Here is what you'll need!
Dog Biscuits 4 Ways
INGREDIENTS
2 cups of whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
Blueberries
Shredded carrot
Mint leaves
Canned pumpkin puree (Be sure that the canned pumpkin your purchase does not include any spices.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350˚F/180˚C.
Mix the whole-wheat flour, eggs, and unsweetened apple sauce together until it forms a dough.
Divide the dough into 4 and transfer to a separate bowls. Add blueberries, shredded carrot, mint leaves, and canned pumpkin puree into the bowls and stir until the dough and flavor are mixed well together.
Dust hands and surface with whole wheat flour. Roll out all four doughs separately until thin and cut out with cookie cutters. Place each biscuit onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.

  • Tip: zest a freeze dried liver treat on top! You could also add a small amount of turmeric or ginger to the carrot for some dog-safe antioxidants.

    • Sugar is bad for dogs...it could make their hairs fall..but...adding just a bit wont hurt...but next time make sure that it dosent contains any sugar or sweets

  • +BuzzFeed my friend has a awesome recipe and she would really like to share it to everyone So you need any fruit/vegetables/meat (of course it has to be suitable for dogs) Then dry it up with a food dryer,after it was dried up you can give it to your dog so make a video about this if you can!

    • Cameron Blessing, yes you can, but make sure the peanut butter doesn't have xylithol which is bad for dogs.

    • Yeah.... some dogs are allergic to gluten which is in wheat flour or pretty much any flour that isn't gluten/wheat free.

    • Dogs can't have normal flour on a daily basis so if you add whole wheat flour it makes it more safe for dogs

  • Grain (flour) isn't good for dogs. I never give my dog grain & I would never make this for him, or any other dog for that matter.
