I was gonna say if tghere was one time where they had to do two episodes it's this one.
"If he wins, i wanna be here to watch it with my own eyes. If he loses, i need to be here and die alongside him" this line goes so hard, law is a real one
It's obviously overshadowed by later events in the episode, but one of my favorite moments in the arc is Cabbage declaring his intent to stay behind with Law.
I remember watching this episode, not expecting gear 4th AT ALL i almost fell off my chair XD

It's a small gripe but LORD I hate how the subs go with "fourth gear" instead of "gear fourth" it always completely ruins the build up of the moment. The pause between luffy saying gear and everyone holds their breath as to what is about to happen, then dropping the fourth is everything

As everyone said, imagine when you heard "gear", you would say something like "come on luffy get both second and third, beat hiiim!!!". And then you heard the "fourth" at the end and you lose completely your mind. Sometimes English should stay with the original material instead of trying to make it more grammarly correct. The same happens with Robin's attack. I'm from Argentina, a spanish speaking language, her attacks are grammatically wrong in spanish but we respect it because we appreciate the original material.

ah finally the debut of gear 4th ... nice you guys will love it. thinking back on this fight ,i think maybe Doffy was handicapped a tiny bit .. surely it can't be easy to maintain and contract the bird cage for that long with that much power. Yet his main body is still fighting off 2 main worst gen pirates and more .. gotta give it to him, that is a feat ..
