I KNOW Doffy think Trebol and the others as his Family , and I KNOW Doffy is in charge BUT Trebol is the ACTUAL Mastermind behind all these mess ... he took advantages of Doffy's rage and feed him good ... the moment Trebol got Sliced , Tontattas felt the ease .. that says something In the Metaphor Contrast of Trebol giving Doffy a String-String Fruit .. its like Trebol Attaching String to Doffy , controlling him .. not literally , but you know what i mean
Trebol is just a random weird dude who KNOWS about haki and stuff and about those few chosen ones who CAN awaken conqueror's haki, like one in a million people... and on top of that he is just crazy and chaotic and when he met Doflamingo he thought crap this dude will create so much chaos it should be fun...

When I first saw Doflamingo doing first aid to his organs with Devil Fruit ability, I was like BRUH YOU KIDDING ME
Something to note here. Luffy had a major disadvantage compared to doflamingo in that confrontation. No leverage in that position while doflamingo has far more plus gravity. In other words Luffy was just that much physically stronger than Doflamingo to keep him from killing Law.
add to it the body size difference
Don't take it to the heart but by that logic Doffy had much more greater disadvantage in their last clash because Doffy was pushing up whereas Luffy had gravity 💀

One of the most iconic moments (or badass) is when Doffy sees his past and absolutely snaps on Luffy.. I think this moment is so underappreciated.
The words used for the different types of haki in Japanese can be literally translated to "the color of observation, arms, and the Supreme king. The subs decided to switch to this in the new world for some reason

It was said long long time ago back in Marine Ford Arc, Conquerors Haki is extremely rare that a small percentage of people having innate sense for it. When Two users of Conquerors Haki clash, it’s a test of willpower who will overpower who. The clash in this episode ended on a draw because Neither Luffy or Doffy were going to give up thus nobody won. The lighting effect and overwhelming presence they produced can cause people who far weaker than they are to fall unconscious/get sent flying just being near them. and if you have Conquerors you’re seen as a king/someone people want to follow. Law maybe part of the special D group but He is a follower so therefore never will get it.

Ys clash of the conquerer's haki is pretty good to watch. The crimson flashes are the will power and their determination and their desire to a king. There are two types of clashing this normal and next is a spoiler so wait for it. Everyone thought the conquerer's haki was lame except few viewers😂 that it will work only on weak people so this ep is a demonstration that in the new world that a pirate crew should have a minimum 2 people with conquerer's haki. Otherwise they wouldn't be good enough on their own. Some people form alliances to the emperor's, beacause the four emperor's mention here are on a another level

yeah... i don't think you know the scale of people who have CONQUEROR'S HAKI first off... it's EXTREMELY RARE especially for 2 to go at it what Trebol was explaining was basically, those who have CONQUEROR'S HAKI are the chosen ones again... this has been pointed out somewhere in simple terms, those who have CONQUEROR'S HAKI can not be beaten unless another person has it, too the power scaling of One Piece is not as consistent, but at the same time not inconsistent because it depends on the person so, you can't say someone has reach their true potential... EVER but, then, there is times where the potential is reached at that moment leaving the viewers to come to term with or forever in denial which i say A LOT of people still are in the terms of being delusionally bias torwards who is stronger than who which Oda-sama has confirmed some of it, and still, the fans make up their own conclusions saying this person is stronger than the other one i, for one, see it how Oda-sama sees it it's more even than you think when compared in a fair point of view non-bias (＾＾ )ゞ

like rayleigh said, the 2 prominent types of haki are armament and observation haki, but conqueror's haki cant be obtain by training or by any normal means.. what trebol is saying that anyone who has conqueror's haki are true kings chosen by the heavens.. even the girls at amazon lily they said something like conqueror's haki user has the power to rule the world
No guys , One piece is shounen true, but, it breaks some major typical shonen things. So don't compare it with the other anime you've watched 😅😅

The Haki - Heavens - King of Kings discussion is actually an amazing one to me, being a Christian.
