So, there’s a few different ways to get out of the bro zone (coming from like a female) so if you want to take the bolder route, you can give her subtle hints that you like her more than a friend. But if she isn’t generally good at picking up hints you can make it a little less subtle, like talking to her more often, sitting/standing by her, maybe take part in some of her hobbies or listen to her kind of music or favorite bands and talk about that. She might get a hint that you listened to/participated in some things that she does, so you’re interested in her. If you want to like go REALLY bold you can just come out and say you like her, but her reaction is unpredictable. This may be confusing based on how these options are complete opposites, but there is an in-between. So, sometimes (not all the time like for me as an example) I bro-zone the guys I like because I think they’d easily tell that I like them, or that I don’t want it to be as obvious, so that’s how she may be feeling. Just make your intentions clear, don’t try too hard and of course don’t be a jerk. If you’re scared if rejection, just remember dating is practically a trial and error concept. You just need to take whatever leap you feel like doing. (Also coming from someone who told their crush how they felt about them, and their crush liked them back)

This happened to me, I wouldn't say I had feelings for him but I adored him so much. I wanted to be his closest friend and be in his life all the time. But there was something wrong that I didn't see it. I always showed my interest in him; ask him about his days, feelings, interests and tried to help him out when he is in trouble etc. All he was did to me say "Hey" and "How are you?" and nothing more. He didn't showed any interest in me at all. He was just being kind to me. I took it very wrong like I felt like somehow I was special to him. Well, obviously I was wrong. I bet he didn't even consider me as a friend. I was calling myself nobody to him but I wasn't a nobody to him either. I was just a regular classroom mate to him. And that was the case. I really tried to change his mind about me, I was so close that he was opening up to me which is he never did to anybody else before. Although he was friendly to me for all of my hard study being friends with him, he never asked about me. This kind of realize made me question myself. What the fck I was doing? I was so obsessed to became his friend that I forgot *me* I didn't get back my affection and hard work from him. So I just stopped and focus on myself. I didn't get to be his friend but whatever. It's kind of like a gut instinct: if I have a feeling they like me, they probably do, if I have a feeling they don't, they probably don't, etc... The current guy I like is a bit of a tough case, I have the gut feeling that he isn't interested, but by comparing what he's done to a guy who I detected as interested, this guy has actually shown more interest than the interested guy. I also have some issues with self confidence as well so I really don't know.

My crush is now my friend. I expressed my feelings for her and she was super respectful but clear that she doesn't have any feelings for me. Though she insisted on being friends. Now we are good friends but i can't turn off the feelings i have for her. Now i am trying to condition my mind to love her without expecting anything from her. I am finding it tough but i like the thought that i am a part of her life even though only as a friend.
It's good that you are friends, you never know if things between you could blossom. Or it could stay the same. However, if more pain is coming out from that friendship than actual happiness, it might be best to distance yourself. I was in the same situation and well… it took me a while to heal and really start loving myself
If she offered you the friendzone it’s likely bc she does not feel you have the masculine traits to lead a relationship and if you are willing to just settle for friendship even when deep inside it’s not what you want you prove her right to friendzone you. But if you respectfully tell her verbatim “I understand how you feel but I am have no interest in being your friend” it will shock her but she will now at minimum respect your honesty and genuine vibe. She may even change her mind in a week or 2 bc now you proved her wrong. Plus you should never waste time on women who do not reciprocate their effort/ feelings for you, those women you walk away from or show them the door.

I'm aromantic and I just wanna say, I respond to people fairly quickly, ask them about themselves a lot (whatever makes good conversation), and once we get close enough I will orchestrate hangouts. Sometimes even if people do these things it can just mean that they wanna be friends

bro. i love him so much and the way he smiles at me and always uses my stuff is so adorable. whenever my friend moves from her seat (she sits next to me) hes always raising his hand and asking the teacher eagerly if he could sit next to me. once i showed him a peak of my vent book and said “you dont wanna see it” and he replied with “i actually do” with a really sincere voice. he smiles at me and laughs at what i say, and whenever we are hanging out he complains he needs a hug. i give him one most of the time. also, when we were in a group, my friend came to sit with me ajd he jumped infront of her to sit with me. idk if he likes me though, he acts differently with me, but also acts a little like that with others. i still like him so much but i dont have his snap/number bc he doesnt have a phone or ipad. absolutely nothing. but i do get to see him at school which is my only happiness at that hell hole
