Christina Walker interviews Sania Feagin at the 2024 Women's Final Four

This has clearly been the most exciting time in Women’s/Girls Basketball history! These moments are so gratifying because I can remember when Christina, Sania Feagin, and Texas A&M star Sydney Bowles all played in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament and competed against 14 and 16 year old boys. Needless to say the girls won the championship!
Christina was a year older than both Sania and Sydney and in my humble opinion inspired these young ladies. Christina I do believe was the first Georgia Pearls AAU player to try out for Team USA U16 when she was just 13 years old (2nd youngest to tryout that year). Four years later both Sania and Sydney tried out in Colorado Springs. Christ-in-a Girl Hoops TV was there to document their efforts.
Though Christina, Sania, or Sydney would end up making the National Team, the point of the journey was to let these young ladies see that they can compete amongst the nation's best.
So maybe you see and understand now how truly amazing it is to witness the growth of Sania from her days with the Georgia Pearls winning AAU Championships, a GA High School Championship at Forest Park (2020), a NCAA Women's National Championship (2022) with a chance to add 2 more to her ledger!
