He definitely proved his grit, but how is it not a real win? It's not like fundora elbowed him. Tim ran into his elbow himself. It's no different than any other mistake a person can make in boxing. So it's definitely a real loss and he's not making excuses which is good. Don't make excuses for him.
@@purplevincent4454 fair point, I guess what I mean is he fought galiantly despite the cut/blood on his face which would definitely have impacted his vision and his ability to fight his normal fight, still that all part of boxing and I'm not trying to take anything away from Fundora who won fair and square. But I don't think the performance hurts Tim in anyway other than he lost, but feel his stock probably rose.

I wouldn't say "ass kicked" but Tszyu was in control and seemed to have the fight well in hand.
Big Tim Tszyu fan here. I was not disappointed in his performance- he was doing great until the cut gave Fundora an edge in effective boxing, Tszyu finding it difficult to see almost immediately and for the rest of the fight. Fundora boxed a great fight too, he is tough as hell and d oh did much better than I thought he would. He’s a really nice guy as well so congrats to him. 💥🥊

WOW THAT Was a Great Fight
This dude is a class act! I gained even more respect for him after this loss. I had Fundora winning 7-5 maybe 8-4 but it was close. I think the cut was a factor but I always felt Fundora was gonna be a problem in this fight once it was announced. Love both fighters and hopefully they gained more respect from true fans of the sport.

Tszyu trained for a smaller/shorter guy, but got a 6'6 guy instead, and then cut himself in the match and had to fight him almost blind too, and still put on a show. Definitely deserves rematch.

Hell no the split from the elbow was a equaliser for Findora. Fundora had nothing, Tim was walking all over him prior to the elbow.

@@Soul-Taker i agree 100 percent. He also landed a lot more of his shots percentage wise. Fundora threw and missed a lot. They say you have to win convincingly to take a belt. I didnt think he did. But my opinion is biased as fuck lol. Its points boxing though, and in the US.

Tim fought one of the craziest fights I'd ever seen. He was a crimson mask of blood and it didn't stop him from coming until the very end.

Tim is a man who truly take refuge and honor in his father.... imagine a NC do to a cut... as tough as his father was... not surprised he didnt take that route and dont think tim would been happy with his trainers if they took that route either.... trust and the fans would have been with the decision now but not later on, and if they fans don't change up.... The boxers he face going forward would use that as material in future face offs which tim wasn't gone let that happen, like he said... he is a warrior
