Two prisoners of a deranged sadist try to make the best of their situation.
About Key & Peele:
Key & Peele showcases the fearless wit of stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as the duo takes on everything from "Gremlins 2" to systemic racism. With an array of sketches as wide-reaching as they are cringingly accurate, the pair has created a bevy of classic characters, including Wendell, the players of the East/West Bowl and President Obama's Anger Translator.

  • The irony is Jigsaw's whole deal was to help people appreciate life. He would've loved these guys.

    @thachocolategod@thachocolategod3 жыл бұрын
    • @Alexa Wall I mean, the same guy was the one undergoing the pain of withdrawal, picking fights over methadone treatment, and caused the abortion in pursuit of stealing such. Yeah, the personal angle changes the context, but the basic idea of "cause yourself pain in pursuit of escape, risking death, in order to appreciate your life and be willing to struggle through such pain" is the same but refined for his other traps anyway.

  • Getting tortured with friends is better than getting tortured alone

    @jerryjacobsunny5574@jerryjacobsunny55745 жыл бұрын
    • No, think about when torture is used systematically. Think about what they can do to make you divulge infirmation, so that you can avoid identity humiliation, in comparison to that they can do when they make you watch what they are doing to another, unless you cooperate. Those who torture rarely have any scruples. Should it come to using your love for another being against you as a weapon, they won't hesitate. It rather takes an inhuman amount of power to be willing to let them do that at that moment, so that you can save many others later on. This did not happen to me but it happened to the socialists and communists in my country. They made people watch while sodomizing their friends, siblings, "comrades" whatever, until they'd break or speak up. The hanger, the hogtie, constant beating going "wrong", and leading to deaths, people thus "disappearing" from the face of the Earth... You wanna see psychopaths at work? Dahmer would be the best guy in institutional, systematic authority abuse. You don't want to be tortured with someone else, because often, that someone else is going to be someone you love, you will be forced to make a choice between you and your beloved everytime someone opens that bloody door and steps in your dungeon. And this... You can find this to be the case even in individual, discretional crimes of psychopaths.

    • @@LuLu-lh1hz It's because survivors helped us screw up a whole country decades later that I didn't want to mention my country. Because they couldn't take out the real enemies, they attacked the institutions the torturers once worked in. The 1980 Turkey coup de tat was carried out by a group of traitors in the army, gendermerie, and the police in Turkey, plus, certain people from the Turkish intelligence. They killed socialist tendencies by replacing it with ethnic fights. So they actually helped found the PKK which has been plaguing us. The survivors, though... They let... This is crazy, but, they let their enemies take down innocent people in the army starting in 2007 with false accusations. This is crazy, because Ergenekon and Sledgehammer trials were false flags to rid the army of patriotic yet leftist people. (Some wardens in Silivri prison committed suicide during this period) Those who tortured the 80 coup vics lived and died peacefully. The vics knew it but still wanted to destroy the army. The symbolic boot. They took their ounce of flesh from the wrong guys, and they knew it all the while. I cannot imagine what surviving that shit back in 1980 was like. I'm trying not to judge them. Trauma... Trauma is what made them do it. See there is this bitter fact that, you cannot be exposed to ugliness for so long and stay pure. It rots the human to the core in most cases. Very few emerge stronger and still, they have their own malignant problems. Which is why one should tread very lightly in deciding which responsibilities they can undertake. Deconstruct to reconstruct, or amend it, but most people will not heal from such deadly wounds to existence and identity and yet demand of change always requires such costs. It's all wasted, though, when you forget why you started this fight in the first place.
