Asus ROG PG259QN: the first 360 Hz monitor to hit the market
Asus finally launches its 360Hz, IPS, 1 ms, HDR display.
After almost 8 months of teasing , Asus officially announces its ROG Swift PG259QN monitor . Aimed at competitive gaming at 1080p, it is the company’s first display to offer a 360Hz refresh rate. That is, display an image every 2.8ms.
According to NVIDIA , this new cap would allow a 4% improvement in flick shots (aim and click with a very fast cursor movement), compared to 240 Hz screens. This would also translate into a change from 34.5 ms to just 20 ms end-to-end latency (or “click to response time”).
