    • Being PRETTY and blonde doesn't help if you're tall. Expecially if everyone else around you is short. They call us tall girls "Manly" "Shrek" "Olgar" "Big foot" "Giant" and "Tranny" doesn't matter how pretty or how nice of a body the person has people treat tall girls like shit. We get bullied like crazy and people treat tall women like we are disgusting creatures and we have to buy our clothes online unlike short women they can shop at any store in the world. Tall women have to shop online just to find long pants, long dresses and big enough shoes. Most men do not find tall women attractive because their intimidated or they feel "not manly enough" you try being a 6'1 female for a day and you'll see what us tall women go through everyday. The staring, laughing, and the tall jokes and remarks will be enough for you to not even want to be alive. You wouldn't be able to handle it. So unless you're tall then you shouldn't be so quick to judge.

This girl is obviously not just your regular "tall blonde girl" it shouldn't be a big deal, but for average ppl everything out of their small perspective of what life is, basically is a big deal. And now ask yourself how many of these average ppl exist and how many of those, that constantly stand out like her. If it were the opposite, most clothes being made would be her size, which is another struggle.

My daughter is a very confident young woman now but having something so glaringly different about her when she was in school was VERY hard. She would have given anything to have been 5’7 instead of 6’1. Teen girls have a difficult time becoming confident when they are always being put down by their peers over something that can’t change. This just happens to be a conversation about tall girls. Curious how tall you are. Bet you are average and have no clue. And that is MY opinion.

  • Tbh I am a tall girl myself. In middle school being tall was my insecurity because of the comments people used to give me and all but in high-school I really didn't care that much. Because trust me it can be an insecurity but there are much severe problems in life. Just when you are small the problems are small so it mattered a lot to me but as a grow I really stopped giving shit to people who still comment about unnecessary things. This movie is exaggeration of being tall. Though it will help the girls who feel insecure about their height a little hope but overall it is boring for all the others who don't seem to relate or care.

  • It’s hard for me to bash the movie because I experienced bullying for being a 5’11” girl in high school. Even if there were other tall people at the school, it didn’t matter because I was a “tall freak” and they weren’t. Of course being tall and insecure, I wanted a taller guy. Then I got older and got more sense and realized that I don’t want a tall guy, I want a genuine guy that cares about me. Now I’m 6’2” and my life is completely different, no one calls me a tall freak or giraffe, I get called a goddess or model. Regardless of how awful the movie is, it was made for people like myself. Dealing with insecurities and learning how to overcome them.
