Let’s talk about the first sign of methylcobalamin deficiency.
Methylcobalamin is vitamin B12, and it’s essential for DNA, red blood cells, and your myelin sheath. Vitamin B12 also helps support your spinal column and brain.
If you’re deficient in vitamin B12, you could experience tingling, numbness, or burning sensations.
Other signs of vitamin B12 deficiency can include:
• Chronic pain
• Depression
• Muscle wasting
• Blurry vision
• Tinnitus
• Anemia
• Mouth ulcers
• Sore throat
• Hair loss
You could also experience symptoms if you have too much vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 toxicity will typically occur if you’re taking too much synthetic vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin)-not the natural version (methylcobalamin).
Cyanocobalamin can build up in the body and cause symptoms such as:
• Acne
• Palpitations
• Anxiety
• Red cheeks
• Headaches
• Insomnia
• Akathisia
• Suicidal thoughts
You could be deficient in vitamin B12 long before you start to feel any effects. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t damage being done. One of the first symptoms you would eventually feel is extreme fatigue.
Foods high in vitamin B12 are animal products. There is no vitamin B12 in plants.
Top causes of vitamin B12 deficiency:
• Malabsorption
• Plant-based or vegan diets
• Gastric bypass
• Atrophy of the stomach
• Gastritis
• H. pylori infection
• Ulcers
• Inflammation in the intestines
• Aspirin
• Alcohol
• Junk foods
• Antibiotics
• Antacids or PPIs
• Birth control pills
• Pregnancy
• Lactation
• Smoking
• Polymorphism

  • Dr Berg, I just put "keto" into the search bar and started counting. An older video of yours cane up at #34, but it was the only one in the first 100. I quit counting at 100. What can we as followers do to let KZhead know how unhappy we are with their manipulation?

    @paulab984@paulab9845 ай бұрын
    • Move to R.umble aka voting with your feet. KZhead and other giant companies only understand the language of losing market share to their competitors, that's the only thing that'll make them change. They're so scared that I had to put a period in the word R.umble cos it keeps deleting the comment cos they don't want people telling other people to move to R.umble.

    • @@LeboPH It only helps a bit, once KZhead decides that you belong on the naughty list, your reach is still diminished no matter how many likes a video gets cos they want you to feel the effect of being on the naughty list, they don't want you to overcome it with more likes, so they can flip the switch and make it so that it takes 10 likes to have the same effect as 1 like, or even 100 likes to have the same effect as 1 like, they can program it however they want.

  • Dr Berg please - we HIGHLY need a comprehensive video in which you cover MTHFR mutations and your advice how to fix the methylate cycle if you have it. This is such a common mutation affecting over 50% of population, that doesn't even know. I have it too, like many others, would be SO great if you could please make a video on this and on how to fix it, and which vitamins/supplements to take and which to avoid. You never covered this I think as standalone topic, but would be so helpful. Thanks!

There are now published studies documenting MTHFR and Covid side effects…PLUS try getting a doc to take you seriously when you report you have this! I REFUSE laughing gas (nitrous) because of PUBLISHED issues with MTHFR and they tell you “you simply need to take a baby aspirin a day” MY family has several of us with this and ALL have had at least one, if not multiple issues attributed to MTHFR! 🤦‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦‍♀️

  • I was dx B12 deficient a decade ago. Goes along with malabsorption syndrome. Coincidentally daily PPI for 15 years. I’ve been injecting synthetic B12 every 15 days for that whole time. The past 8-10 months I’ve been “dying”. Constant muscle pain, extreme neuropathy, falls from lack of balance, couldn’t even step into my F150 truck today. Tried. Fell in parking lot. I’m so over this life. Tomorrow I see my dr. Heart 2 Heart time. Time to switch to methyl. 3 X week…I thank everyone who posted vids about this!! Also: MRI for left sided migraines, IBS, bloating, dx with demyelinating disease, suspected MS. All adds up to severe B12 deficiency.

Thank You so very much for all the free knowledge you so generously pass on to those of us searching for better health by being in the know to what is being done right and eliminating what is unknowingly being done wrong. As ever, always spot on, eye opening and connecting the dots needed and useful information to the missing bits not previously put together to get a better view of the overall health picture being searched for a very long time and getting closer and closer to "got it (" it" being sorely needed missing bits that tie what is known together for better overall health)" finally! Again, a very sincere Thank You!

    • For lower pain, he’s made on this, especially mentioning a high amount of D3&K2. I suggest you use his own brand because there’s no toxins added while providing as well the key nutrients for vitamin d absorption.

  • Have never taken any B12 supplements. Slim, fit and excellent health and recent blood tests showed very high levels of B12 (888 pg/ml) This level was above recommended max of 771 pg/ml. Doctor asked if I took supplements or ate a lot of meat. But also said high levels, especially from meat are not harmful.

  • Some of the most nutritious foods you can eat are oily fish, eggs, avocados, potatoes, and green leafy vegetables. However, no food provides all the nutrients we need, so it's essential to have a varied diet that includes plenty of fresh ingredients and is as little processed as possible See potatoes are healthy!

  • Hey it was several years ago I ran into this problem. Would like to briefly relay my story if it helps anyone. I almost died from this issue and was reluctant to seek medical but glad I did. It's hard to say if I have the genetic resistance or just bad habits with nutrition but I have made big improvement overall. Btw I'm a white male of German heritage, and in my 40's. No drugs or smoking btw. When it got bad I was under alot of stress and had the blood anemia problem. Very low blood oxygen, weak as hell cause of that and started to show jaundice appearance. the cure was blood transfusion to clean up my blood, then a week of better diet rich in protein. As well as many doses of B12 injections spread out over a couple months. in basic terms the b12 and the protein need to work together to get the best results for your body. If you only have one or the other you will not get any results and that created bad malnourished stuff on my end. Was rough, and I still struggle at times, I have to force myself to eat even if I'm not hungry...

  • lol that is not how you pronounce methylcobalamin. I know this because I take the injections and i kept embarrassing myself at the pharmacy so I had to finally look it up and learn it. That isn’t it but I really appreciate the info in this video - you are always on a subject that is front of mind so thanks!
