This is honestly one the most beautiful wildlife videos I've ever seen, the panic ensued and the desperate relentless pursuit by the wolf, remarkable.
This is so fantastic. I love that the shot is wide enough that you can see how the herd moves and how much ground is covered just in this short clip. Breathtakingly beautiful to see a single wolf hunting like that. Gives you an appreciation for nature. Wolves are such noble animals.
I loved it when she said, "this time The Wolf has Won." I was really rooting for that Wolf. Wolves have to eat too.
one single wolf could make the entire pack running, very impressive
The wolf worked hard for it, that stamina.
I LOVE THIS!! NEVER underestimate the power of a single wolf. They can thrive as solitary hunters as well as in packs
People who underestimate lone wolves are just ignorant and dumb and really don't know anything about them or animal's for the that matter
@@alphaarx3055 foreal
@@alphaarx3055 Exactly. Coyotes hunt solo and are super successful yet they are much much smaller than wolves. Sure, wolves have evolved to hunt in packs, but that doesn't mean that a lone wolf will be doomed to starve and die.
@@alphaarx3055 Absolutely
@@doug2555 Yes
Pack wolf is a survivor... Lone wolf is a warrior...
Didn’t see that in the video
@@camionesfernandez3745 wtf, wolf won their, it can't grab with his front legswhatdo you expect it to do? catching a moving targets neck without using your hands is harder than catching apples in a water tank or hanged on a rope and most people are not even able to do that. once the wolf managed to bite the neck properly the deer died on the spot.
This is great. Its so rare to see a lone wolf take on an adult large pray and be successful. And the blood on snow made it even more powerful.
Cinematic mood
@Reginald Lovely technically there is no such thing an omega wolf or a beta wolf and if were being completely honest there is no such thing as an alpha wolf relatively speaking all of these only exist in captive wolf packs where unrelated wolves live together except for the alpha you could technically say they exist but they are really the parents to most if not all the other wolves in the pack
Prey
wolves are more than capable as lone hunters
@@zombiehunterzippy9823 even in captive packs, if you allow the pack to form by having a breeding pair of wolves and making them stay with their offspring, they form family groups as in the wild.
that wolf deserves his feast.thats an impressive kill✌
I’m impressed by the wolf’s stamina. Continuously running at full speed for so long is crazy
Wow, the wolf took the caribou down in 15 seconds once it got its jaw on the caribou's throat... that is killer jaw power!
Wolves have insane jaw strength. A fully grown wolf can easily break a human arm with it's bite force. Once they bite down, it's very hard to escape that power.
Matt DeWolfe yes their bite is twice of a german Shepherd that’s hell of a bite
@@mdewolfe33 Actually it still takes them quite some effort to break a Human arm. A guy got bitten full force on his forearm once and the wolf chomped down for more than a minute, before his arm fractured
in a documentary years ago they measured a wolf's bite. A wolf can crush a cow's leg bone instantly. Its about 5 tons of power in every bite
It got horribly mauled too though. It almost wasn’t worth it but he needed to do it out of desperation so it’s just barely worth the injuries.
It's amazing to think that the whole time the wolf is running, he's scanning the herd for the weakest/injured animals.
Lions do this too, look for old and young prey. Actually lots of predators do this.
the one he got was not even weak or injured too, it was big.
Wolf definitely has more stamina than a bear, and there's a video on KZhead of a lone wolf taking down a full grown bison... there very powerful!
Are u kidding me of course wolf has better stamina
Send the link
Fascinating. I've never seen a lone wolf hunt before, and I never will through anything but this media. It hunts like a normal wolf in a pack- legs and then throat. They aren't as flexible or fast as cats or burly as bears, but a lone wolf can take down prey twice its size. Absolutely fascinating.
Venom Quill Endurance helps
Venom Quill yeah but they got more stamina
Wolves has one of the strongest bite in the animal kingdom a chomp could easily break the preys tendons and bones
theres another video of a one wolf bringing down a bisson, but the bison is a yearling its still bigger compare to the wolf though.
Never underestimate a lone wolf
I judged this wolf in the beginning because he didn't go crouching in the bushes so he could have an advantage, but he didn't give up so he finished the hunt incredibly, impressed 👏
The wolf wanted to be seen, so it would be able to scare the herd into running (a wolf has a much easier time bringing down prey on the run than prey that stands its ground)
Only cats are ambush hunters, wolves are runners they chase their Preys in order to exhaust them.
Big cats use a suprise attack, the wolves use their stamina to chase their prey
Homotherium.
@@pedrocampos691 Exception to the rule.
Amazing! That Lone Wolf must be in his prime. That was a persistent tactical kill. Great filming. What a rare sighting caught perfectly by drone! Awesome.
@2:08; the one Caribou was like, "Guys; help." The others were like, "You're on your own."
hahahhahahhhahahha
Right
@@cissokhomaguette8158 not funny, besides, the wolf does not have a pack anyway
Why can’t these shitty Caribou try to defend one of their own, and why can’t they say to one another “hey there is 400 of us, what if we just charged towards the wolf to scare him away or maybe stomp him?
@@Defender78 Caribou aren't really intelligent
Wow, honestly one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen. THAT is one BAD ASS wolf!
This is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen in my life. Imagine attempting to do what this lone wolf does here.
its awesome how just one wolf had the whole fucking herd running like crazy
Sad yet amazing, the fact that a wolf can take on prey double their size with only their mouth is unbelievable. Idk how people can hunt these amazing animals for sport 💕 they’ve given us so much
Hi darling 😘💓🌷
Good morning
I agree
A wolf can keep a group of caribou running. It is a beautiful scene
This is really beautiful. Nature is awesome. As a dog lover, I like seeing them hunt.
the wolf was like "stop resisting, it will be over in a few minutes"
And some people say some dog breeds could kill a wolf, What I would like to see is one of those dogs kill a caribou like that
It really depends on the dog breed as well as the wolf sub species, But most of the time if an euroasiatic wolf (Canis Lupus Lupus) or an Alaskan Timber wolf (Canis Lupus Occidentalis) wants to kill a guard dog, it will kill it no matter the breed... Not to mention how deadly a pack could be.
Я всматривалась, действительно ли один? То, что он сделал, восхищает, удивляет, сколько силы, выносливости! Хвала волку, уважаю. Спасибо за видео.
Excellent endurance and strength that was amazing and you wouldn't want to have to face that beast without a firearm.
He did struggle with the one he caught though. The caribou should have kicked back tbh :(
TheShermanTanker the wolf had it on the right spot
@@mohammedhossain9846 Yeah. It's still amazing to see a grown wolf struggle with a young Caribou that looks like he's only half a year old though
TheShermanTanker The reindeer isnt that young. It can either be a teenage one or a female. Males might be larger and weight 400 lbs.
@@theshermantanker7043 Why is it sad if that was you a man and you were hungry with no food so you had to kill a caribou or you would starve to death would you be sad? That wolf is trying to survive it doesn't matter what it eats as long as it can eat to survive. See some poacher hunters kill for pleasure and boast about how they killed an exotic animal so to have trophies. Though some hunters kill animals so they can eat. The wolf is not a murderer neither is a human when he kills a bull to eat beef. This is all the same thing.
Go lone wolf, you deserve that whole caribou.
Wow, that didn't take long. On the other hand, it took a wolverine about 15 minutes to bring down a caribou. So much for wolverines being stronger than wolves.
@Commander Wolffe A lone wolverine can keep two wolves at a distance and can steal their food. So much for your 200 pounds and 1700 biteforce which is inaccurate. The biteforce is 500 psi
@Commander Wolffe Do your research on the biteforce before spreading misinformation like a dumbass. 😂
@Commander Wolffe Nope, gray wolves have a 500 psi. The mackenzie valley have a 1200.
Yet 2 wolves can't take down a wolverine.
@@carlgustav945 They can, the problem is that the wolverine will go down fighting and it’s really not worth the effort.
That was an awesome show!!!!
I just love to see wolves hunt. Such beautiful animals.
Until they grab your little dog in the back yard. There goes muffy.
James Bacon oh well this planet is theirs
Ya
James Bacon Yeah only if you‘re stupid enough to leave your tiny ass dog unatended outside in predator country
Wow. What a fighter. Looking at the way the deers were fleeing initially, he mustve given up. But he was fantastic to fight and get the reward. Fantastic
I love how majestic the caribou run. INCREDIBLE.
The power of a lonely hunter
волку лайк!
It’s amazing how powerful these animals are. Some dogs are larger... and we keep these animals as pets, without realizing that if our dogs really wanted to they could kill us easily. Not talking about small dogs but large powerful breeds
Yea my German Shepherd is the size of a smaller wolf and he could seriously hurt someone if he wanted
I could beat a big dog
@@aymanemach depends
@@bigsmoke6030 true
We could do the same to a dog (a skilled person, not the average shlepp rock). Humans are the premier apex predators.
I think the lesson here is don't underestimate a wolf.
That is one damn good hunter!! Wow, impressed
Lone wolves don't hunt such large prey,,think this guy must have been really hungry... Great hunting skills
There is song lyric that comes to mind after reading your comment and watching this video. "If are you hungry you will join the fight eventually." In the case of that gentleman with the prefect hunting skills it was easy to see the hungry in the Sprint and the tactical execution of it . I say bon appetit feast well to the 🐺 cuz if there ever was a well deserved meal this has to be in the top ten.
one wolf cause all this ! fuck !
Mullham Dakakni Wolves have one of the most powerful bites..their jaws can crush through bone with only a few bites.
Joey Convery crocodile(nile) have strongest
You said it because "he's a wolf.
Woot! There's just something so satisfying and badass about a wolf taking down large prey by itself. It may not have been the biggest deer, but it was still bigger than the wolf and it still required effort to take down. :)
Crazy how much force must be behind that bite to the legs to stop a caribou from running.
This Wolf is better than dogs pack.
Truly impressive. A wolf is a wolf.
To take down an animal twice its weight with nothing but its mouth and stamina makes this much more impressive than any big cats which have much stronger forelimbs.
those suckers are not even fighting their prey if they are not lions, they are coward ambush predators.
Most of the time they go for calves but this one went for a meat that's twice as big as him and even as a lone hunter. So epic!!!
Please tell me what word before hoof did the female commentator utter in time 2:15 ??
Hello
@@hussamali9205 this is from a while ago but she said "well aimed"
The caribou should put up wolf free zone signs that’ll help keep them safe
Roman Estrada: You mean "trigger warning" and "safe space"?
You mean shark or riptide or bear or tiger warnings.
As your attention was on the wolf as he was scattering the herd, it looked like he was running towards a flock of fleeing birds.
brave wolf 👍👍
Wolf 👍🍀❤️
INCREDIBLE!!!!! Good thing the whole entire herd is not attacking this one Lone wolf.
Badass Lone Wolf!
beautiful wolf!
wolf's stamina is no joke
What a class, what a master, and what a 'humane' clean kill. Wolves are awesome.
Merci beaucoup excelent
Hunting alone with over hundred caribou’s wow I love this
Those jaws must have massive strength in them to hold the caribou and finally kill it . Makes sense for them to have a bite force of more than 1,000 psi .
Cool. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing
My god that wolf is a olimpic runner
at first the wolf was loping, basically to panic the herd, perhaps injure one of them, when he started circling with the herd all around him, he chose one and you could see the burst of speed. was quite fascinating to watch, unfortunately that wolf will only get one, maybe two meals off that carcass before other predators take the kill.
@@robertperrotto870 true but I really underestimated its stamina
Fantastic hunt and so beautiful she did it
Thanks lots. :D
contrary to popular belief wolves are more than capable lone hunters
So beautiful

The only real news BBC post these days
I rooted for the wolf !
amazing video!👍

Wow..... Amazing! It is a rare sight to see a lone wolf successful in taking down bigger prey.
Naja, Wölfe ernähren sich nicht von Mäusen... 🐺
Силён страх смерти, очень силён. Сотни оленей от страха разбегаются от одного волка.
Huh.
Any wild feline probably would've gassed out before they even ckufht up to the caribou lol.
smart and alone wolf. this animals are excellent
Вот он один такой шухер полнял
What a hunt..
That's a one strong wolf 💀
Most impressive kill i´ve seen
Lone sigma wolf is always impressive, having that alpha capability, but doesn’t seek for any recognition in the hierarchy.
Good job wolf!
that is some insane stamina
one wolf ... can make that many caribou run
The wolves aren‘t dirty hooligans like hyenas. They are professional hunters who follow the order of their leader and work for their goal.
You can see how much the caribou wanted to escape, and how much effort the wolf used to take down the caribou to finally have a meal after days,
wolves are my 1st favourite animals
