There are so many reasons as to why Lionel Messi is considered the greatest of all time. One of his most remarkable attributes is his unrivaled dribbling ability, which has left countless defenders in his wake, both in his younger age and even at the age of 36. Throughout his illustrious career, Messi has completed a staggering 3079 dribbles in major leagues and the UEFA Champions League, with 2392 in domestic leagues and 687 in the prestigious Champions League. On average, he successfully executes 4.56 dribbles every 90 minutes. A feat that is nothing short of extraordinary. But how does he make it seem so effortless? That's why today, we delve into the fascinating science behind his breathtaking dribbling skills.

So Messi can dribble easy because he's "down to earth"...
😆
Technically yes......that's why he is the 🐐...... Also Ronaldo's height = 1.8 m Camel's height = 1.8 m
@@jason_from_vice_city Bro, Burger height: 1 foot, same as Messi
@@DaDailyDabber69420 Shavarma taller than burger.....does that mean ronaldo is shavarma????
Science can't explain the skill and ability of a person. Many players have low centre of gravity, why don't they dribble like him.
My thoughts exactly. They never really hammered into the science what makes him special.
They lack the ball control and the knowledge of skills such as change of pace and using someone's momentum against them
Because Messi has extremely good vision. Too Messi everything is in slow motion
You can't explain inspiration, quick think, vision, precision, magic
Genetics, training, physics, surrounding yourself with a team on your level?
Genetics? No way Messi's family was a football team
Messi is not just a genius dribbler but also the greatest of all time tho
Why Messi didn't win puskas award with his dribbling skills is still unbelievable
Fan voted award bro
But when fans voted for him, it's called rigged
Yea, Messi have scored some the most spectacular goals in football.
@@Samplefive1966 facts
Puskas is for the goals beauty
Messi plays with bird eye vision. That's why he can see all his teammates and makes impossible passes all these years.
I wonder why your views are so low? Compared to the quality of the clips you make. hope you don't stop producing work like this and keep going bro.
Thank you so much. Really appreciate it 🧡
Right bro 😊

That's probably because it's AI generated content.

"In a conclusion, Messi" is the GOAT, period.
There is no science behind messi's dribble it's just pure talent, God gifted talent no science.
That's just incorrect
true man how can someone say science behind it when it's actually pure magic..
Yup, even the ball being glued to his feet is also God gifted
Amazing video. There's the science and the artistry. Either approach Messi is a genius
I watch 1 of Messi interview when he is younger,he said the dribble come to him naturally. In La Masia he just perfected it,which I believe so,if we look at his early days playing,in Grandioli he did dribble ,that's probably why he said it come to him naturally .but it doesn't mean he is not working hard,it just he is gifted player plus hardworking. His results and achievement is not a myth. It's proof of hard work and talent combined .
His physical height might contribute to 7% of it. His mental contributes to 80% of it. Training and skills contribute to 13% of it.
I grew up idolizing ronaldo but I have enough common sense to acknowledge messi is way better. I love ronaldo because of the arrogant talking, the step overs, the speed, the chiseled body, the image, and the story of a person who struggles his whole life which I can relate. Messi does not struggle like that, born genius, and raised supported.
U like someones arrogant talks..Are u normal at all
@@IsaacEzra why people like conor mcgregor and floyd mayweather? Its for show. Showmanship n entertainment.
Other fottballers push ball away and run towards it to carry the ball forward while messi carries the ball with himself and that's why it looks like the ball is glued ro his feet. Hence his body is more balance while tackling with other opponents while dribbling and on the otherhand other players spread their legs far to keep the ball in their reach which reduces the effectiveness of strong balance in order to withstand the tacking. If you have observed messi planning carefully you will notice that the ball is mostly below his body and not far away from it while other players had to stretch their legs to keep the ball in thier control. This is reason why messi doesn't fall often compare to other footballer during tackling.
Imagine how hard it is then for players like Ibrahimovic to do what they do when dribbling.
Even more players like Zidane or Busquets that would dribble while walking, being tall and slow its an even bigger handicap in comparison with tall and fast like Henry or Bale
Super contet and great artistic,
It's not dribbling and is not the center of gravity--it is pure Football. Messi may not even know why he is the only human who has ever played Football from a child to an adult. All children figure out how to play Football, but then coaches like the one on this video, start teaching them the wrong Football.
Messi was born to play football there is no science behind they think science can explain everything.
You deserve more subscribers
They were quite short explaning the full math on why center of gravity helps and why his lower height also help him with acceleration and change of direction. There are a lot of factors like friction, inertia, the square cube law, or other that should be explained in more detail. All apply different.
Bro included Sergio Aguero along with Hazard and Sanchez
there's billion of players with Messi's stature. It's his brain, bro. Man got different brain compare to us. It's not about his physique really.
Messi 'weights' the push of the ball perfectly moreso than virtually everyone. Regardless of what he's doing, whether being pressured during dribbling, running solo with the ball, passing or nudging a ball through someone's legs. That's what a lot of these 'analysis' channels don't cover and just plainly attribute his dribbling ability to height(CoG) and/or hardwork. It's not easy to teach someone to push the ball only 3-5cm when running at high speed with the occasionally sharp cornering while being shoved and blocked by 2 or more players. You either know/develop that skill on your own somehow or you don't.
Love ❤️ ur channel
thank you so much 😊
Great content!!

When others do it "wow they're so skillful"🔥 When Messi does it "he smol, low centre of gravity, easier for him"😭

Wow ....what a channel
Belenguer had PSG written on his shorts I wonder what that could mean 🤔
I enjoyed that 😊
As a 5’10 individual I’m cooked but I swear I’m actually so good at dribbling despite my height
5,10 is relatively short
Is he the shortest player? Why is that one not the best dribbler ever. Just enjoy brilliance and stop trying to find evidence for it
Because we have the time and desire to be like him !
@@carlin5409 no amount of hardwork can make anyone play this. His style comes from pure raw talent
But it sure can help me become my best dam self! Through learning and applying his strategies!
Somone know which part of the defenders messi looks at during 1v1?
This is an interesting question to look into in one of our next videos. Thanks for the suggestion 🙌
tanks
Messi looks at their legs, and wait for their movements or messi makes them move
Beautiful worl
Reminder - There are lots of things that science can't explain!
I think you are wrong on the head tilt, the c.o.g. should be lower not higher.
Just bcos barca spent lots of millions dollars since they picked him up from the very time when fhe agreement was signed on a tissue paper... Another thing is his brain has high relex action he drible with looking oponents leg when oponents start to make move he change direction and run

Can a tall person dribble like Him
Yup
if u are over 5.11 or 5.10 it would be harder
No
Messi is what I call a genius because he does not change. Ronaldo constantly evolves to match the team, what his body allows, and the aging.
and yet hes still consistent at scoring
In what way does Ronaldo evolve?...Cos he still literally plays the same way he played in Madrid in Juventus.... It's just get the ball, sprint forward and cut back and shoot.... That's all I see him do...
@@karelaking9445 when he was 22, he did a lot of unnecessary step overs which did not scare the defender but he was a beast to be able to drop 40 goals every season. Post 2014 with the knee injury, he was more in the box to score. Messi always relied on skills, and vision. I am a ronaldo fan by the way, not meesi’s fan.
@@DungNgo-zi8jg Then Messi also evolved from being a typical goal scorer to a Playmaker....When Messi was young,he didn't know much on playmaking, and after years,he became more of a Playmaker who was still competing with goal scorers....You know how crazy that is?....To be the greatest playmaker with the most playmaker award in history and also be the best goal scorer with the most golden boot.... Something Ronaldo can never pull off
@@karelaking9445 nah bro, disagree. Go watch messi at la masia, that el pulga already did the type of assist like when he drives center and chip or curve the ball pass the defensive line for the left-back to puncture the defensive line like he does now with jordi alba. He does not change, he refines.
Everything was fine but from when did Aguero became a prolific dribbler 😂 I mean R9 is available as an example.
Or Romario, who was 167cm tall.
But 2008 Ronaldo wasn’t short but he was good at dribbling?
Was better at it than Messi ????
yea..not like Messi tho. Messi be like:🍰
he just did stepovers, not dribbling
Sorry, I meant was he better at it than Messi
I dont agree with u...There are so many short players out there..even more shorter than Messi..yet cant dribble and hold the ball like Leo...he is simply the best
that's because apart from the physics, Messi has mastered the skill better. The point is that shorter players should have an advantage in dribbling but skill level also matters. (Messi has both ✅️ ✅️
This video explained that short players have more advantages when it comes to dribbling ability. And added why messi is one step ahead compared to other short players like generics, talent and dedication.
Imagine R9 achieving this feat at his 20s, with no physical advantages akeen to Messi and pulling skills on top of that. He successfully dribbled 80 times and scored in an empty net. Just consider this feat alone.
STUPID AI narrator. Anyway, I think "The Chosen One" said it best: You don't teach Messi. He already knows everything.
Was looking for a comment to call out the AI
AI CONTENT IS SO BAD FOR KZhead
You didn't even mention thw fact that it's mainly because he's left footed so hes going through everyone's weak side
Messi dribbling is nothing compared to Maradona, R9, Ronaldinho, Neymar!
still feeding yourself lies
Thank you for giving me something to laugh and to feel good about, I’ll come back to this video whenever I’m feeling a blue to get a good laugh and when I feel low self esteem I’ll just thank god that I’m not you and I’ll feel so much better, the level of ignorance in your comment is disproportionate levels
He focuses on efficiency, tricks can get you past 1 or 2 defenders but it wastes too much time and energy. Trickwise yeah those guys is better than him
yes his dribbling is far superior
because messi is far superior to them
Still love to watch Brazilian skills better over his
more like footbal shit: hazard alexis sanches are dribler now? have you heard BRAZILIANS? and then go to pysic lesson explain gravity..wayy to much unnecessary bs
Messi might be unaware of this science😂
