  • In spite of the empty seats, these Olympics felt particularly grand. Every win, every loss, every single moment felt so much more momentous and poignant. Probably because we've been through so much and lost so much, and to see so many countries represented, and everyone being able to participate, against all odds, was so joyous.

  • No hidilyn Diaz? Sad that they cant even acknowledge our first EVER gold medal in the Olympics🥇🇵🇭 They can include Tom Daley sowing or crotcheting, who wasn’t even competing (no hate to him, he was still iconic) But cant even mention our country’s almost 100 year success of our first gold medal. I’m disheartened and offended to be very honest, and I’m sure many filipinos are offended as well. Our representative worked so hard to win our country’s first golf medal, and she’s not even seen for a millisecond. I know its just a video, but still, we deserve more coverage. But regardless, Congrats to all Olympians who competed for the Olympics❤️.
