@@flexiblestrategist9922 it wasn't that he wasn't "cerebral". The thing is Vick had too many options. A QB usually has the options of throwing to the primary, the secondary and the check down. Vick had the option of primary, secondary, check down, run, or scramble until someone's open. Sometimes holding the ball worked out for him and sometimes it didn't. Plus Vick always had a spy on him and the eagles rarely played a double tight end/slot formation so any check down in the middle was taken away.

The Colts ran that seam route to Tamme about 7 times in this game, so it must have been something they saw on film. Manning hit Tamme's hands numerous times but he kept dropping it.
@saltedllama27593 жыл бұрын
The seam is the answer to Cover 2 and Cover 4 split safeties. Those 'safe' coverages prevent the 'Wide' receivers outside the numbers from burning you, which slot receivers and TEs could feast on with less underneath coverage. MOFO "Middle of the Field Open" ; if your wide recievers occupy the safeties the seam , shallow cross, and maybe even deep post can get hit.

Phil Simms, you can also give credit to the refs for saying that ball was an incompletion instead of a catch and a fumble bc of a ko. 7 points to the Colts, instead of the Eagles. Should be 23-7 at that point, not 17-16 at the half. Roughing the passer, on a play that when a player scored a TD, his teammate pats him on the helmet, they called less than that for Peyton Manning.

@bigbodyrover Thats the play im talking about, there would be no helmet to helmet call if they said he caught the ball, because he became a runner! Then all the sudden its a no catch and then they can make that BS call! They cant make that call once he catches it and takes them steps he took!!

@@deepcosmiclove Yup ! Finally got to that Superbowl in 2004, beating Vick in the Championship game.

The talent level bestowed on Michael Vick just boggles the mind.

This game shows you glimpses of why Peyton is the regular season GOAT and why Vick had the potential but not consistency to be there himself
Too bad Peyton had the Refs help him at the end and they still couldn't get the Job done
If Eagles advanced further in the playoffs that year at least in to conference champ, Vick would've got the MVP, but playing that eventual champ Packers in WC wasn't gonna be on Eagles favor.

Omg facts. The Oline played when nick foles was out there. Same exact team that let vick get concussed and broken ribs let foles throw 7 TDS in one game
@@ChefJones96 it was so annoying to watch. and then on top of that he would get hit late and youd rarely see a roughing the passer flag. i remember not to long ago foles or wentz got hit late and the whole OLINE was acting like they were going to fight lmao. ( the same ppl who watched vick get hit later over and over again) it's like most of everyone had a agenda against Vick. maybe because he can "evade" every defender or maybe the dog incident. i put all the fault is on that bihtch ass oLINE tho.f them all
@@mlsrise9356 it's the gift and curse of playing team sports. Vick was hated for many reasons
56:16 is where the hit is at.

Never used to seeing cbs do an eagles game at home
For a while they did it to where the away team got the channel. If its afc vs nfc.... The away team gets the channel. Pay attention and youll notice thats true like 90% of the time. I cant remember any that werent like that since i first noticed.
God this team was so good
