In honor Super Tuesday the NFL presents Drew Brees and the Saints winning Super Bowl 44 for New Orleans!
00:00 - Start
8:36 - Saints get 3rd Down stop, force Colts into FG
20:30 - Manning to Garcon 19-yard TD
29:30 - Dwight Freeney Sacks Drew Brees on 3rd Down to force Saints FG
41:50 - Colts stop Saints on 4th Down at the Goal Line
47:10 - Saints get Field Goal to end the Half
47:40 - Saints execute fake onside Kick, recover the ball.
53:40 - Saints take the Lead with 16-yard Screen Pass TD
1:01:30 - Colts regain lead with 4-yard TD
1:07:20 - Saints connect on 47-yard FG
1:21:20 - Saints get 2-yard touchdown to take lead late.
1:29:30 - Tracy Porter intercepts Manning for a 76-yard touchdown
1:38:45 - Saints stop Colts on 4th and Goal to secure their first Super Bowl title.
Four years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged their city, and poor play soiled their team, the New Orleans Saints soared through the 2009 season with a potent passing attack led by Drew Brees. After defeating Hall of Fame quarterbacks Kurt Warner and Brett Favre, the Saints would face the ultimate test: Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints found themselves down entering the second half, but a gutsy onside kick to begin the third quarter would give the Saints the momentum needed to win the first Lombardi trophy in franchise History.

  • As a kid growing up in New Orleans, Peyton dreamt of throwing the game-winning TD for his father's team, the Saints, in the Super Bowl. In SB44, his dream finally came true.

Because it could've went the other way. That's the reason I said it wasn't smart but it was gutsy. This is no insult or knock on Sean Payton's coaching ability. He sure was a hell of a great coach. • This game still hurts my heart! Im a die hard manning fan. Brees' kid helped make me feel better. It was too cute seeing him up there. I was happy for the saints that year. I was so glad to see manning win one more (i know the defensive did most of the work!...but it still counts ha) best of luck to brees, the nfl robbed us of a brees/b rady super bowl 2 years ago. That could have been epic

  • The Red Sea parted and the Saints of God went marching in! Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for Tracy Porter! I was at a friend’s house with family and friends all around me. I was 3 feet from the TV on my knees praying in the Holy Spirit! Right before Tracy caught the pick, the Holy Spirit told me “pick 6”. I yelled out “We are gonna get a pick 6!”, and the next thing I know Tracy is on his way to the end zone! That’s for all you atheists and unbelievers out there! Jesus Christ is God, He is real, He is risen, He is Lord, and He rules! All praise, honor, and glory to you Lord Jesus Christ!!!

  • I remember that super bowl Sunday like it was yesterday, from watching Chris Boomer and company talking about the game around noon, the orange XLIV colors everywhere, then riding my bike outside my house, around 5PM then heading inside before the game comes on. I remember cheering the Saints on with my family, wearing the Mardi Gras beads, it was absolutely my favorite super bowl I’ve ever watched. Being a kid then, watching two legends duke it out, was absolutely a treat to watch. As a Cowboys fan, i absolutely love the Saints. Drew Brees deserved this win so bad, Sean Payton made the gutsiest call in NFL HISTORY that night. so historic.

  • Drew Brees belongs at the Top of the list as Greatest QBs in NFL history He along with the saints played all other teams hard They never got intimidated by teams like New England or Indianapolis The saints are one of the best NFL organizations If Brees had of played more games against Brady and manning their Superbowl numbers wins would've decreased Notice how somehow Brees and new Orleans rarely played against Brady and Mannings teams It's my belief that ..that wasn't by accident Brees would have won multiple Superbowls had they scheduled new Orleans more games against Brady and Mannings teams
