Newton was one of those consistent mid-tier LHW's who deserved more attention and respect, not to mention deserved to get to the UFC. Not flashy, normally - but beat plenty of really solid guys over the course of his career, and none more impressive than this ko of King Mo, a guy who at that point in time was considered to easily be in the top 15 to 20 LHW's in the world.
Love it, keep up the great shows Bellator....

Great video as always, but what the fuck was up with Saunders continuing his attack on a knocked-out guy who was already half covered by the ref. calling it quits, he seemed to be pushing the ref. away to land an extra shot on the unconscious fighter.
Bellator fights are often more brutal and satisfying to watch than UFC fights... Just my two cents :)

Its nice to have Bellator on every Thursday, but last night's show (2/28/13) was 2 hours and had 4 fights!! And one of them ended in about 1 minute of round 1. That means a lot of filler and commercials!

How about that match last night, March 7, 2013. Between Marshall & the Russian dude that went to Marshall ("Rhino") via decision. He was more surprised than anyone that he won. I had to say Aliev wasn't entertaining, but he was more effective. These decisions lead me to believe that the owners have absolute sway over the judges. Rhino is more marketable so he had to win. Chael Sonnen over Bisping, & Bisping over Hamill were 2 other examples..IMO.

The odds of any of the bellator champions beating one of the UFC champs and the same weight class is 10 to 1. It would be like putting the all star college football team vs the all star pro football team. The same goes for all the other organizations the UFC is just on another level.
