what's wrong with using "JB Weld" to build that up?
As an electrician with no metallurgy experience I can tell you that will hold up for exactly 3 rotations hahah!!
I think the stress on the welding, will eventually crack. The weld is porous & weak. Not strong like a solid, poured cast.

so safety is not a top priority lol decent skills , although it wont hold up just not strong enough

It might hold just fine. But there’s so many variables. Stick welding leave slag which you see them chipping off with the hammer. They are probably getting slag inclusion I would worry more about it being round than that tooth coming off

Зря прикалываетесь. Этот зуб по твердости выше чем соседние и если он хорошо прогрел основание при плавке первых слоев, держать будет намертво.
