    • Do agree but sadly his incredible ability to take a punch outwardly, is what led to his later illness with Parkinson's. The way he soaked up Foreman's best shots still scares me, the damage taken there must have been deep. Ali and his fellow boxers of the era were just true warriors. None of them would throw in the towel and take the money.

  • Quelle belle boxe de Mohamed Ali quand il avait encore le nom de Clay. Les coups sont bien lâchés, tout en vitesse et décontraction, le tronc est souple et dynamique, l'ensemble servi par un jeu de jambes exceptionnel pour un poids lourd, qui lui permet de sortir du champ de frappe de son adversaire quand il veut ; tout est fluide et sans effort mais pour parvenir à ça il faut un talent inné et beaucoup, beaucoup de travail. Titulaire d'un Brevet d'Etat d'Educateur Sportif option boxe anglaise, j'en apprends toujours en regardant boxer Clay

  • I was in the military at that time stationed in Nuernberg. The fight was in Frankfurt and I was there for the fight. There was a few fights at Wald Stadium when the fight was over and Ali had won the fight. Drove all the way from Nuernberg to see that fight. That was my first time seeing Ali in person. It was a good fight.

  • Али уще с первых минут понял кто перед ним. Дальше работа на зрителя. Он был выше всех соперникрв. На голову выше. Поэтому мог любой бой построить по своему сценарию, и закончить соперника в любом раунде. Но вынужден был делать шоу, чтобы каналы генерили кэш, с которого шли щедрые гонорары.

  • Ali landed a perfect check-left hook at the 26:00 mark to score a knockdown. He was a never one-punch knock out artist but his boxing IQ, speed and timing is what made the butterfly sting.

  • ALI Was greatest he had height,reach, speed, footwork, smart if he hadn't lost three years and probably would have fought Ellis,Bonavenia Quarry, Mathis and would have been more in shape then he was for first Frazier fight and would have won 15 round UD decision over Frazier
