Kyrie Irving 1-on-1 against Jayson Tatum. Both 26-year old Kyrie Irving, and 20-year old Jayson Tatum were having a 2-dribble only 1-on-1 session during their Boston Celtics practice. The two former Duke Blue Devils were able to score on each other, but Irving appeared to have the upper hand on Tatum from what was seen in this short video of Jayson Tatum vs. Kyrie Irving.
Jayson Tatum dunked on LeBron James last season, helped lead the Boston Celtics deep into the 2017-2018 NBA playoffs, and can call Kobe Bryant his own personal Yoda. But the most exciting thing about Jayson Tatum? The kid’s just 20-year old, and he is already showing early potentials to be an All-Star player.
Despite his spectacular rookie season with the Boston Celtics, forward Jayson Tatum has remained humble and focused on improving his game. To that end, he's spent the summer learning from his elders, taking pointers from the likes of Penny Hardaway and former Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant. The Boston Celtics fans in TD Garden truly love the game of both Jayson Tatum and Kyrie Irving.
Make sure you have your ankle insurance, health insurance and life insurance before playing a 1-on-1 game with Kyrie Irving. This could seriously injure any players, so it is recommended to have sports medical insurance, health insurance and life insurance if any unfortunate accidents happen. Injured players could file compensation for insurance injury claims from their respective insurance partners.
● Kyrie Irving committed to Duke University on October 22, 2009, and he played for Mike Krzyzewski during the 2010-2011 NCAA college basketball season. Kyrie Irving left Duke in spring 2011 without a college degree, but he promised his father to get his degree within 5 years. Later, Kyrie declared for 2011 NBA Draft and he was selected No.1 by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Kyrie Irving requested a trade back in July 2017 during a meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers owner, Dan Gilbert. At the time, Irving said that he wanted to play in a situation in which he could be more of a focal point and that he no longer wanted to play alongside LeBron James, sources said.
Back on August 22, 2017, the Cleveland Cavaliers have decided to send Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics in exchange for point guard Isaiah Thomas, forward Jae Crowder, center Ante Zizic and Brooklyn Nets's 2018 unprotected first-round pick, the teams announced Tuesday night. This trade gives the Cleveland Cavaliers options and insurance if LeBron James does depart in the future.
Having all of these achievements, it is hard to believe Kyrie Irving is only 26 years old, and he is still improving every year. Back on November 16, 2017, there was a claim by Kyrie Irving himself, saying that the Earth is actually flat.
● Kyrie is notably known for his role as "Uncle Drew" in the Pepsi Max commercials. An Uncle Drew movie is set for June 29, 2018, which will be produced by Lionsgate, and promoted by The General auto car insurance company. Ever since 2011, Kyrie Irving had been playing in the Quicken Loans Arena for the past 6 years, until he came to a decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Quicken Loans Arena for the Boston Celtics back in July 2017.
Kyrie Irving has partnered up with major brands such as Nike, PepsiCo, Foot Locker, Panini, PSD Luxury Men's Boxer Briefs, ProCamps, and Skullcandy. In December 2014, Irving had launched his Nike Kyrie 3 signature shoe collection and since then the sale of his shoes is touching new heights day by day. The launch colorway was sold out in just 3 minutes. In 2016, he got equity stakes in American company Skullcandy. This deal was a part of an endorsement deal between him and Skullcandy. This move of Kyrie looks professionally good because of Skullcandy's global headphone and earbud market expected to be worth more than $17.5 billion by 2022.
He was the cover athlete on NBA 2K18, with covers published in both his Celtics and Cavs jerseys. Irving is headed to the big screen as the star of an Uncle Drew feature film. Irving is part owner of the Uncle Drew rights, which started as a Pepsi-funded web series. Irving also recorded a song for the movie's soundtrack. The movie led to an endorsement deal for Irving with General Mills. The company put Irving and Uncle Drew on its iconic Wheaties cereal boxes.

Kyrie would've took his ankle if it wasn't 3 dribbles
Chue Yang shouldn’t be wasting more than 3 in a game anyway. Takes too much time dribbling out the clock imo
and Tatum wouldve killed kyrie in the block by pounding the ball
C M five seconds to the back is a rule lol
@Smaf They are playing 2-dribble only 1-on-1 session. Only 2 dribbles are allowed to score a basket. This minimizes their dribbling time, and increases their shots efficiency.
@@shadowmotive2453 who said he will post up dribble for more than 5? LOL im pretty sure as good as tatum he knows what to do against a guy significantly smaller than him

Looks like 3 dribble max if you go over you turn it over not really a 1 on 1,more like practicing on how to score the ball using less dribbles
Kinda seems like Kyrie would be at a disadvantage with those rules.
It’s just King of the Court style. It’s still 1 on 1 though, this is just a way to practice efficiency.
@@viewtiiful730 king of the court is my favorite thing to play

Kyrie's attacks the basket very similar to Kobe. Also a small note, his head and shoulders stays very still when he shoot- very little wasted movement.

🔥🔥🔥
There is always levels in any profession and kyrie displays that even though he was behind in the beginning why he is the best
The Best if you remove rebounding, 1 of the most important aspects of basketball and just turn it into a shooting competition like Horse. In a shooting competition like this, Steph would take him, especially if 3's count,
Tatum settling for jumpers when he has a 5 inch height advantage is baffling. Back him down and post him up.
Man you guys notice they both look like Michael Jordan this way, precision offense - no waste. I know it's limited dribbling (rules) but they really have to think before they pull and watch for imbalance/shift in position which makes a player much more deadly in my opinion.
or they look like notebook basketball players that add their own flair to already great fundamentals. but hey, that's what it takes to make it to the pros, Welcome to the NBA you see stuff like this regularly. That's why we watch film 😃.
or becoz both were big mamba fans
Facts
Kyrie can actually defend when he puts his mind inti it
jacem khalfet and you spell I’d get you mind into it... lol jk
This was with no other people on the court. Put 4 defenders screening for his man and tell me he can play defense.. don’t compare this to a real game
Kyrie right now has a defensive rating of 101. Which is higher than curry, Wall, Dame, and even CP3. Don't know why people say he can't play defense. They just hear what they say without the facts to back it up
Hes been solid on defense this season and was solid on defense in 2015 post trades for mozgov, jr, shumpert. It looks like not having g the irritation and post game soreness from the wires and screws in his knees are why he can expect d more energy on being a solid defender. He can see d when healthy and free of pain
Its his pick and roll defense that kills his team , anyone who watched him since Duke knows hes an above average ON BALL defender .
The last part is tha best!!😂😂
That move Kyrie did for point# 5@2:23 was amazing. Originally I thought he had to take more than 2 dribbles. He was almost at 3 point line and got to basket in 2 dribbles.
That was amazing but do you remember when Giannis went from one end of the court to the other in 2 dribbles or when Giannis took 2 steps and got to the paint from half court it’s like wha kyrie did

Y’all do realize Tatum didn’t drive once, he was just working on his step backs lol
I was thinking the same thing. This was young Tatum too. He's gotten a lot better. He could just back Kyrie down all game if he wanted to like Kareem did with Dr. J when they played 1v1.
Tatum can’t break kyrie down with two dribble and beat him to the hoop consistently
@@MistaWordz their playing 2 dribbles so i doubt jayson can create an opening and drive all game
@@finessekid3661 That would make it even harder for Kyrie. He ain't breaking Tatum down with 2 dribbles. Meanwhile, Tatum could pretty much make it from the 3pt line to the rim in 2 dribbles.

Around the 2:15 mark, Jayson should've just made the shot. He did too much and ended up missing it. His respect for Kyrie's game is obvious, but you gotta go for the best shot when it's available to you.
Me: trying to copy their jab steps Ref: hey that's a travel Me: wtf?!
thats my idol since in cavs
How is the result if competition now?
I like hearing casuals talk about big vs small in 1 on 1. Saying BS like Lebron would just back Kobe down in a game in 1 on 1. It doesn't work that way. There is a reason why the pros say Kobe would destroy Lebron. Casuals have no idea what they're talking about.
Giannis would smoke Kyrie. Kyrie looks good here because neither tries to rebound, as soon as they miss the ball goes to the other side. Giannis wouldn't play this way. He would play with the intensity of it being Game 7 of the Finals. Every single missed shot of his would be a rebound/putback dunk. Heck, a single shoulder into the chest of Kyrie and he is likely on the ground staring up watching Giannis dunk.
How'd you make this about those 2 lol. Another example: Kareem successfully backed down Dr.J to win his matchup against him. Those damn casuals thinking common sense might apply to basketball too. It's not everyone, but that's most of the time true. How many times is Shaq getting stopped in the paint by someone who isn't a center or damn strong PF?
@@lyrics2challenged Dude them dudes were old. DR. J had no lift and no speed. Kareem meanwhile had just retired from professional basketball and was a master at posting up. BAD EXAMPLE. If a player can't post up there's no way he can back someone down. What we're looking at is a good example. Lebron is not a post player. He and Kobe went at in an allstar game and Kobe shut him down right there with all that media attention with all his peers looking.
@@landscaping3716 I wouldn't expect Lebron to shine in 1 on 1. He isn't a great shooter and it eliminates 1 of his greatest gifts, passing/court vision. He also has a flaw in falling in love too much with the jumpshot to show he can shoot. Giannis would smoke Kobe. He could guard him 1 on 1, would destroy him on the glass, and would relentlessly attack and punish him down low.
@@jasonjanisewski78 Giannis is not a post player. Kobe would rip him every time because he would have to face up. Giannis needs a head of steam to be productive. Not a great jump shooter. There is noway he would dominater or even beat Kobe in a game of 1 on 1. Tmac just started a 1 on 1 league so you'll see how it works.
Kyrie is very best handling the ball
