The only reason Bedrock doesn't have hardcore is because of a handful of bugs that can kill the player in an instant, such as spawning under the obsidian platform in the end and dying to fall damage when exiting a bubble column. Since we recently got spectator, its safe to assume hardcore isn't far behind. Btw I had to type this comment twice because my computer gave me the blue screen of death when I was typing it the first time. Overall, there is truly no superior edition of Minecraft. Both have their ups and downs and are fun to play for different reasons

The reason people say Bedrock wither is harder is because on hard mode it gives you almost a minute of wither to which would take down anyone without regen, totems, milk or something else that can save you. It also summons 3 wither skeletons and explodes multiple times

I started playing last year using my phone so I have a soft spot for Bedrock. Now Java is automatically free if you bought the Bedrock version so I can play both. But I still stick to Bedrock. I still havent defeated the dragon because I have been restarting my worlds many times. Maybe after I finished all achievements in Bedrock, I will try Java.
It's only free if it's Bedrock on PC and vise versa

Silent Whisperer and wattles have both covered a new feature in the recent bedrock minor update that allows the player to put any item in their off hand through commands. It is definitely not finished but they seem to be close to putting off hand java capabilities into bedrock. This is also easier to use now on pocket edition because they recently introduced the new controls which have new buttons and a cross hair and is much easier to use and more precise than the old controls. I feel like java is probably the more technical version, where u can move further away from basic/simple minecraft but bedrock is more simple and customizable

I like the terrain generation on Java much better than on Bedrock. The biomes are the same now, but Java will spawn ravines much more frequently and it seems like surface lava pools aren't as common in Bedrock.

To be honest, I along with my older sister who's 18 prefer Java more than Bedrock because we've both always been used to it. I feel like Java is much easier to use and much easier to navigate through, I've been playing Java since I was 6 in 2014 and Bedrock too (on my dads old phone and sometimes my mums too) and I fell in love with Java ever since. Now I'm 14 and I'm turning 15 next year on the 5th of July 2023 (I was born in 2008) and I still prefer Bedrock.

Im wondering why you found the Java fight harder than the bedrock fight as looking at all the aspects you can see that bedrock wither is a lot harder, just look at what people say online! Lets take a look at the things that the Bedrock one does that’s different: • Shoots skulls in burst shots rather than individual skulls • Guaranteed blue powerful skull at the end of each burst fire, can be deflected back at it because Bedrock has goofy ass mechanics but doesn’t do any damage to the Wither • Can’t be trapped under normal circumstances • Unpredictable movement pattern • Summons a small group of wither skellies once it gets to half health and also explodes before summoning them too, same ranged attack immunity as Java at this point • Only uses charge attack at half health • Explodes on death as well, so you can beat him and still get killed • More health than Java variant
From that info the bedrock wither definitely is more difficult... But... When I fought the java wither I died multiple times while against the bedrock wither I didn't die or even really get low. Overall just by playing the game the java fight was wayyyyy harder than the bedrock fight. If you want to see how each fight went the bedrock fight happened in my 100 days bedrock video and the java fight happened on ep 11 of my 1.19 let's play. (Not trying to promote anything. It's just if you wanna see my how each fight went for me.) i do see what you're saying though
I prefer Bedrock because I started playing on Xbox and I'm used to using a controller. I get frustrated trying to learn how to play using keyboard and mouse. Thanks for a good video on this subject.

I wish that some of the Java features were in bedrock but overall I still like bedrock more because the best part about playing Minecraft for me is playing with my friends. On bedrock it’s much easier to play with friends and doesn’t require a server or anything like that. You can just have someone join your world on any platform

Well the off hand is going to be no problem for bedrock because they are getting an update on the off hand soon, and hardcore is going to be added to bedrock maybe next year because the both versions already have spectator mode.
First yay also thank you for bring my 100th subcriber I am working on a 100 subcriber special however it is delayed cuz I'm sick at the moment. I think that java is better for modding and having the servers available and I think that bedrock has some great vanilla details to it so both versions have good things about them.
Bedrock has mods too and you can make 3d blocks without needing optifine on bedrock edition

That + hardcore and maybe certain bugs fixed. Yes.
Main reason the off hand can't hold more than a limited set of items on bedrock is because they can't figure out how to implement it on mobile, with amplified it's coz of performance, only $400-$1000 phones would probably be able to handle it, I'm only mentioning phones cos they're the second weakest link, behind the Nintendo switch of course :)

I'am a bedrock/pocket guy. I dont have a pc or something like a laptop. I didnt play java ever one time in my life. I play minecraft with my xbox controller every day and its so fun, i respect both versions but yea, im a bedrock guy.
I like java but I played it twice only and things like building above the nether roof and more powerful axes is great
I’ve never played Java as I’m a console gamer. I do own a PC obviously and I’ve considered getting Minecraft on it as I love the texture packs and shaders that it offers BUT as someone who has played consoles for most of my life, I can’t get my head around using a keyboard to control my player. My previous experience of using a keyboard for games has been terrible and this puts me off the JAVA edition.

My whole life I've only used a controller (or touch screen) to play games and just about 4 months ago I started to play keyboard. It definitely was weird at first but after getting used to it, it was enjoyable.

There was no AI used at all in this video or any of my other videos. Absolutely none. *Edit: For that exact moment on the timestamp I accidentally said java when I recorded this the first time and I didn't want to record that section again so I just cut out where I said java and added a clip of me saying "bedrock". No ai *2nd Edit: Also if you listen just 7 seconds more I do the same exact thing where this time I insert a clip of me saying "java". I had them backwards when I recorded my audio and fixed it this way when I was editing.
In the end, the best edition is the one that you prefer. There is no better or worse one overall
Fun fact: the reason why the wither was easier than you remember it being is because they fixed the wither effect. It used to deal the same amount of damage no matter what enchantments you had, now Protection lowers the damage taken from decay.
I remember losing everything on my world and it all being destroyed to a wither when this was a bug
@@Boo.yes1 If you ever want to relive those days, equip blast protection-only armor lol Also there were loads of wither associated bugs in bedrock that made the wither too scary to even risk spawning it in. Like the invisible, invincible withers that could happen when you died and unloaded withers on multiplayer servers. The bedrock wither reputation was well-earned, but it's good to see it go away at last.

The thing that makes bedrock wither much harder to fight than the java ones is because they can’t kill the bedrock wither by trapping inside a cave. They can easily get the wither star by constantly attack the wither in a small cave in java.
For your information the wither have 600 heart on hard difficulty but 300 on any other difficulty

I play bedrock edition but the number 1 thing I hate about bedrock is the ability to emote like is Minecraft turning into Fortnite
well the reason you feel bedrock is easier than java because bedrock is only really hard when in hard mode, on normal difficulty, java have 300 health and bedrock is 450 health, when on hard difficulty java will not change anything much in addition to dealing higher damage and longer lasting wither effects. bedrock wither is completely different when on hard difficulty, wither's health will increase from 450 to 600 health, not to mention in 200 day bedrock because you play in normal so bedrock wither feel kinda easier but with hard difficulty you need take even more time to kill it, bedrock wither has 2 exclusive move on phase 2 is summon wither skeleton and dash attack, on normal wither rarely use dash since you kill it too fast but with 300 health on phase 2 hard difficulty, it will use it by alot that dealing high damage and delete every block when it dash to you. also note that wither on java is pretty easy if you know how to fight it since it the first time you fight wither in java so you find it very hard but if you know how to fight then it really easy, you can alway tank and outheal java with protect 4 and golden apple, because it alway above your head so you can just rapidly shoot arrow and bring java wither to phase 2 super quickly, after that just go in and swing it to dead, even easier is trap it in the cave tunnel and java wither will become useless lol funfact: bedrock wither used to way harder than normally since before 1.19, wither effect can piercing protection enchant on bedrock so wither effect can delete your health like crazy but after 1.19, protection enchant now actually protect player from effect on bedrock
In Java, you can put a sharpness enchanted book on axe, but in Bedrock you can't do this.

@@naitsirhc. you just Cook 64 Iron and let them in thé furnace then you take one iron ingot in your chest and finally you click a lot of Time on the 64 Iron in the furnace with the one in your hand and it will give you XP it is a lot faster with ancien débris (in15 hours you Can go to the max xp level
