Notice how polite and mannerly they are about sharing the water bowl. They take their turns. So beautiful and healthy looking. I can’t imagine how delightful it would be to have them coming to my feeders every day!!

It’s like he just tagged along with his friends, but doesn’t really do anything.
It’s a baby macaw, besides his stomach if kinda full already, he must be fed already and he is chilling with the oldies.

They're not afraid because if the human gets too close or threatening there will be broken bones.
They aren't afraid of human. this is why they are endangered
@@rex_schd They're literally multiplying like crazy in Caracas, which is not their natural habitat - 20 years ago there were next to none there. Good part of their success is how trusting they are of many of the people that feed them every day, which gives them access to a high calorie diet

Wild parrots must be able to stay in their natural habitat! I own many birds but i don't own them as ornaments, and i certainly don't own any wild ones, i own birds so they can be cared for and not eaten. If i buy a bird i ALWAYS find a certified breeder . I also give my parrots a healthy diet, vet care and more

My birds are very happy and u do know that just cause a person has birds doesn't mean they are caged .

The fact is that most people don't, and birds that were wild caught will never be as happy as they could be. Try not to feel attacked, instead try to teach others how to keep their birds.
Nathanscottphilipps my parakeet on my channel is happy too - there are videos of him. I don’t doubt about the happiness of the birdies. Also my parakeet loves me so much that he mimics my speech. He says baby bird.☺️

Same. The best we get are like pigeons, crows, seagulls, magpies, black headed gulls and the little garden birds
eclipsesonic there are feral populations of McCaws in Florida now and many other types of ferral parrot flocks in the US now but I have never seen any personally. California has quite a few species now and Hawaii. I have a pet double yellow head Amazon and female Eclectus. They are a hoot. Macaws are said to be as intelligent as 5 or 6 year old human children.

Anyone who says they should sell these birds are honestly the definition of immoral and just plain ignorant and lack of basic compassion. You definitely failed yourself and your parents.
There’s much better ways of getting money anyways. Finding a job at grocery stores is one of the best options right now as they aren’t closing anytime soon. Selling a wild bird just isn’t even efficient for cash, and a lot of the times the birds get locked into cages for their 70-90 year lives.
Actually people can take care of this birds and bond with each other... But only few of them have the money, time and patients...there are many KZheadrs who have macaws and the birds are happy.. But there are other people who buy the bird just to look at it and don't give it enough space or time which is the reason why there are many macaws in shelters
@@chrisp.9385 Yes those Macaws are bred in captivity. They are used to being in cages and around humans so are happy that way. What people are upset about is when you catch a wild macaw (remember not one that's bred in captivity), it will be unused to being in a cage and forced to be around humans. If it doesn't die from stress, it may pluck out its feathers as a way to release that stress. In some cases wild birds are happy but that's very unlikely and it's more likely these birds would be suffering for life. So that is why people are so upset at this. It is utterly immoral and cruel. Anyone who sees birds suffer this fate would likely agree.

If you buy themthey won't be able to find their family or lock or anything just leave these birds alone! 😠 You can't just sell free birds are living in the wild plus their flocks need to be as close to them as can be wild birds always lived in a flock and with one less bird in the actual flock the birds that are following the flock will obviously get lost because of anxiety of whether the poor bird got eaten there's another way you can earn more money than this buying a macaw from the actual shop that has been captured not wild ones
