    • That coz the defenders are on him at all times, he is not good in skills or ball control, but he has good speed, but cant use it coz he plays in a possession based system and city dont play that way. Also for your info, He has scored against all teams in the EPL, and against Bayern as well. He would be a perfect fit for Real Madrid. But i do agree with you on the fact that he aint at Messi or CR7 level.

      @delhen21@delhen2113 күн бұрын
    • @delhen21 Pep playing more direct means less possession for City, that's how he attacks and defends. City doesn't really have best players in the world its the way they play that makes them the best in the world, City being more direct will make them to become like the rest of the teams

      @polymath_sa9745@polymath_sa974513 күн бұрын
    • @@polymath_sa9745 That isn't a bad thing if it leads to more chances and sometimes it's better to play more direct against some teams. Just look at the Arsenal game this season for example city had 70% possession yet could only manage 1 shot on target, possession doesn't mean anything if ur not doing anything with it but look at the same fixture last season when city beat arsenal 4-1 city actually had less possession than arsenal because Pep was playing more direct and as a result it lead to better counter attacking options and Haaland ended up with two assists and a goal that match.

The difference between last season and this season is pretty obvious. He just hasnt been very clinical. So many goals that he missed this season he was finishing last season. It wasn't uncommon for Haaland to have only three shorts in the whole game and two of them ending up in goals.
