Apart from all the excellent tips and technical comments I think the most touching part is when at 6:00 you ask us not to use burst mode (first thing an amateur photographer like me would do :) ) and to wait: "the animal will give you a chance .... a few seconds". This is a great lesson of seeking for the real connection between living beings. Genuine photography. Thank you very much
If there is one take away for me.. it was conscious use of auto-focus distance switch for faster auto-focus. Great tip!
1/13s and 800 in early light! A very strong demonstration of what you're able to accomplish with this approach. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I like the suggestion of a beanbag. I think it will be helpful for leaning on surfaces that don't support a tripod.
Glad it was helpful! Yes, shooting technique is equally important along with camera settings.
Experience speaks, extreme experience is inevitably visible. Excellent explanation by real time capture. Many thanks Sir.
Thanks and welcome. That one thing I can guarantee about my expertise - extremely strong on the technicals and concepts :)

Nice sir
Thanks and welcome
Good tips on subject movement and camera technique but I'm not with you on using 1/13 just to get ISO down. ISO 3200 would have given 1/50, a better chance of sharp images and easy to clean up in post. Yes you'll lose about two stops of DR but when the light is dull and flat... 🙂
Yes that actually works...the video is more for teaching the technique
Sir, If telephoto lens no vr technology which shutterspeed is best for low light conditions.. I have used nikkor 300 mm f4 +1.4xtc use . This lens no vr technology. In day light conditions this lens fantastic results. But in low light I have faced many problems and some birds are stay in very low light conditions.. Suggest a good solution..
Excellent tip for low light. Are your stills being saved to the Ninja or to the cards in the camera?
Still are saved in the camera card. Ninja only for videos.
Is there a way to sort out the JPEG images and RAW files in a SD as 2 separate folders while shooting ? Any settings that I could do in the camera for the same ?
Nope, not possible inc camera.

To start off it is a very good combination since the lens n body is from the same brand it works really well.
Yes, definitely a decent combo to get started.
Hi I just got my first camera, Its a canon 700D. Can I use a ER 100 to 400 lens with it?
Did you mean EF 100-400, yes you can use it.
Yes… thanks for the help
Come to Andhra Pradesh
Sure will.
Key is Sony A1 + 600mm f4
na, key is the shooting technique and the settings. I can get this same shot from the mid range equipment with similar focal length.
@@sudhirshivaramphotography Not meant to offend my teacher. In those sort of conditions the good gear makes a huge difference that’s what I meant. Not intended to cause displeasure
