According to Lifestyle Asia magazine, Lisa owns a fleet of luxury cars, one of which is a Lamborghini Aventador which she bought as a birthday gift for herself last year.
I saw that article. Most of the content is just based on public information, like her cooperation with BVLGARI and the success of her solo songs. For some things, like the cars, there is literally ZERO information about where their information comes from. They just say "the singer reportedly owns...blah, blah, blah". That's a tabloid trick phrase. People who read it think it must be solid information. But it's actually meaningless. To be responsible, they should say WHO created the report and indicate whether the reporter is reliable. But they say nothing about the source of information. In this case, I know that the "reportedly' is almost certainly based on that ridiculous Kpop gossip video that was uploaded recently. It showed exactly those cars in the video and said they were Lisa's. But anyone who has followed Lisa knows that one is a car that DJ Snake provided for her transportation to an event (and the car was used by DJ Snake in promotions for SG) and the others are from magazine and advertisement photo shoots. Nobody reliable, including Lisa herself, has ever claimed that she owns the cars talked about in that magazine article.

The set that Blackpink performed in was in three parts and was the grand finale for the whole show. The first part was Pink Venom, also performed with the orchestra and featuring Gautier Capuçon, a famous cellist. The second part was Daniel Lozakovich (with the orchestra) performing Paganini's La Campanella (the song that Blackpink sampled for Shut Down). Then the final part was the shut down performance you reacted to here. In a video uploaded by the Harmonie Asie channel, you can watch all three parts together, plus the end where a bunch of famous people (including the First Lady of France) and BP are on stage to say good-bye to the audience, while the audience sings Pink Venom. Pretty wild (and savage) show.
Rosé doesn't have a driver's licence yet so the cars she owns are shoufer driven.
I doubt that she owns a Lamborghini or any cars like that. Fans just make up stories about stuff like that and repeat the stories everywhere to other fans, who then think that it must be true because it gets repeated so much. YG supplies very nice roomy cars and drivers for the members to get around in when they need to go somewhere. For ultra-expensive sports cars, the point of owning one is to drive it for fun. They're really small and impractical for anything other than driving fun. It would make no sense at all to waste money on a Lamborghini and then hire a driver to do all the driving, so that you, the owner, can just sit in the small passenger seat and have nowhere to put your stuff.

@@madina3921 None of the rumors about sports cars or private jets has ever been confirmed. As for private jets, the only thing that makes sense is that they rent them on an as-needed basis. It would be ridiculously expensive to buy a private jet unless you're going to be using it all the time. (And they still travel most often on public/commercial airline jets.) As a practical matter, only the stories about Jennie owning a Porsche or two seem to be realistic, since there is some indication that she also has a driver's license...plus she is from a super rich family and would probably own cars like that (with garage space for them) even if she had never become a famous celebrity. There is no indication that the other members even drive in Korea. They don't even seem to have much interest in cars per se and are happy to ride around in deluxe vans provided with drivers by YG, which is better for safety and scandal avoidance (accidents and such) anyway.

Yep. Shut Down and Pink Venom are definitely super bops! About the criticisms against the songs when they first came out, it's important to remember that even though some of it is from sincere people, most of it is from fans of "rival" groups who try to get a hate bandwagon going in order to derail the songs and prevent them from being successful on the charts. It literally happens EVERY TIME BP releases music. The critiques are almost always nonsense and could be turned around with much more applicability to the songs of the groups that the critics favor. ITA that it can be frustrating how constipated YG usually is when it comes to allowing the artists to release music. I wouldn't want to see them go as far as many of the high-quantity groups, who put out 3 or 4 albums per year, with most of the songs being completely forgettable and forgotten filler songs that even their fans don't care about. But each of the members of BP deserves more spotlight and promotions with regular releases of their own songs more regularly and the group should also be at least dropping 2 or 3 big singles in between releasing at least one full album every 18 months or so. For the group, I'd be happy with a 3 or 4 song mini album every 12 months and a full album (8 or 10 songs) every 18 months. Seems doable. And they could handle future solo songs separately sometimes or sneak one or two in on the group albums (like they did with "Hard to Love").
Yet eventhough YG gives BLACKPINK with less music, they still have SO So so much impact than other labels whom releases their idols with many songs and no rest

YG's motto has always been Quality over Quantity....call me crazy but the way they marketed Blackpink to the world was genius....they are the biggest girl group in the world at the moment...Im sure everybody wanna see Blackpink release a track every year...but realistically the company is managing many more groups other than Blackpink...some things take a while but when they drop you know its a banger. makes Blinks wanting more...and at the same time converting casual fans to becoming Blinks. Theres a video on youtube about it and also their Netflix documentary their Producer Teddy explains the process as well.

When you really look at this venue, the class seating, the orchestra pit, the stage,.. this is not where a K-pop group would normally bust it out!! This is a premium performance. You can feel it. You can see that they feel it. In answer to the question, "Does Rose' own a Lamborghini?" Seriously, they are LITERALLY THE biggest thing on the planet right now. She mentioned the name of their vehicle IN one of their songs,.. I guarantee someone at VW (who owns the company thru Audi) sent a luxury sports car with her name over to YG, undoubtedly with a note, "if she could just be photographed somewhere actually driving our car??" Not saying it actually got to Rose' herself. The lines in the new song refer to the appearance of the car in a former MV.

Those are totally fake stories. Some clown just made a video that was a compilation of photos of expensive cars that Lisa has been seen in or standing close to. Several of them were from photo shoots for advertisements. One Rolls Royce shot was the red Rolls Royce that DJ Snake provided for her transportation to and from the LV airport when she popped over from LA to attend a DJ Snake event (which was also during the Sexy Girl song promotion period). It's unlikely that she's collecting cars like that and she's literally never been seen even driving a car in Seoul (or anywhere else for that matter). She doesn't even ever talk about cars. Even among rich people, only a person who is really into cars (like Jay Leno) would spend that kind of money for a fleet of super expensive cars.

But her time in Australia was before she was driving age. Since then, she's only gone for short visits and I doubt she spent any time driving between cities. For personal visits, probably her parents would do the driving. Plus it appears that her family actually has mostly moved back to Korea since Rosé debuted and became super successful. Bottom line: There is no solid evidence at all that the members have spent tons of money on super expensive cars or that they spend time driving around in such cars. It's certainly possible that they have driver's licenses. But they've never even talked about driving around or having any experiences driving. With Jennie, there are some small indications that she maybe drives once in a blue moon. In the age of smartphones w/cameras, if the girls were really driving super fancy cars around, there would be tons of photos and videos circulating from people who spotted them and recorded them. Big Bang members had fancy cars, and they were photographed often and some of them even got into infamous car accidents.
