La Campanella / Shut Down Black Pink - Daniel Lozakovich

La Campanella by Niccolò Paganini before playing Shut Down with BLACKPINK
The connection with Black Pink’s song Shut Down and Paganini’s La Campanella, which has the theme of the melody, was ideal to bring together to introduce the younger generation to classical music - where it all started from. Classical music has been tested by time and proved that it will always stay. I believe it can be called immortal music rather than classical, as different kinds of music could go into this genre that lasts, and become immortal
Gala concert des Pièces Jaunes.
This concert was organized by First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron for the Fondation des Hôpitaux, aiming to improve the living environment of hospitalised children and teenagers

Sometimes people just need time to understand and appreciate it! You, Dani, have an invaluable gift from God - to embody in music all that beautiful thing that elevates my soul above the vanity and routine, above the cruelty of modern life! I really want your path in music, in art, to be successful and filled with joy, creative searches and the realization of your desired goals! Good luck and all the best in this 2023! • Oh my God please no, don't do that please, I personally love classical music so much since I was like 6 or 7, or even before that, but I also love other music, and to me when I found out that one of my favourite bands was going to include a part of one of my favourite composers in a song I was truly pleased. And yes I do understand that not all the young people will listen to classic music on their daily basis, but this is also a way to let them see other parts of music, you might didn't mean it but it sound as if you dislike people for what they listen to, and believe me if you do that you are only going to make them think this tipe of music is just not for them, and the musicians that that you support and are trying to do their best will only going to receive a cold shoulder. I love so many generes and I do listen to all of them on my playlist, give yourself a change to appreciate other styles as well. I don't want to be rude but please respect other people tastes. Best wishes.

    • @@brislethvaldes665 ❤Sorry, my friend, I didn’t mean to offend anyone at all, I just wrote what is in my heart! This is just my humble opinion, I don't want you to think that I'm imposing it on anyone. Love for music, for its magical sounds comes from our childhood. In my childhood there was this: there was a love for the classics and ballet and ice dancing, although I did not study at a music school, which I regret very much. We comprehend this world gradually, falling in love with its beauty, and in my world there is enough modern music: jazz, folk, blues interpretations. I equally love good old rock'n'roll, deep soul and country, I adore popular music of the 60-70s, including Elvis Presley, and Sinatra, and Dean Martin, and French pop, and modern chanson, as well as the work of rock bands, such legends as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Queen, Polis and Sting, their inspirer, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and many, many others. I really love crossovers, which, in addition to the classics, are played by my beloved David Garrett. Love for music is like air, it is free in its choice, it cannot be static. Therefore, I respect the tastes and views of other people, not from the world of classics, everything is very democratic here!)) I just want to say one thing: life is a wonderful exciting journey, but having made a full circle, you always want to return home. This is how my love for the classics is, I return to it and love it, as they love their native shores, no matter how far the fair wind of modernity takes me. I wish you to be where your heart finds love and freedom, this is the most valuable thing. The best and always wonderful music is near!

    • @@brislethvaldes665 I don't understand why you would interpret their comment that way. Could you please explain how you got that impression? (Sorry if it sounds passive aggressive, I didn't mean it to be) Starting off with your first statement "Oh my God please no, don't do that please", you wrote as though they had written something terrible, worthy of those exclamations, when they were simply pointing out in their comment that classical music is underappreciated in younger generations. Another point of contention I had with your comment is that you claimed that they "dislike people for what they listen to". They didn't criticize the character of people who don't listen to classical music at any point. Yes, they did write "Appearance and external beauty is transitory, it is a shell, just a bright package", but this is not a criticism of the *people* who listen to pop music, but a criticism of the flashy and perhaps surface level nature of it, in their opinion. So from their statement (in my opinion) you cannot conclude that they dislike the *people* who listen to music other than classical music, but you can conclude that they prefer classical music over pop music due to their criticism of the genre and greater enjoyment of the former.

  • You know? I found it interesting how it was all coordinated on timing during La Campanella; the girls of BLACKPINK were very coordinated too. But, on the transition between one song to the other, our talented violinist had a bit of a struggle trying to time himself to the BPM/rhythm of Shut Down, he played a bit off-timing when trying to coordinate himself to the song and that's a difference we can find in both songs, the first has its charm on the ups and downs of faster and slower rhythm parts every second, but the second song has only one consistent rhythm to follow (and I bet it would be weird-feeling to see BLACKPINK dance to changing rhythms one day). Both parts are trained on their technique, following a changing rhythm or a consistent rhythm, but watching each one trying to adjust to the other here is unusual, unique and a very rare collaboration!

  • As a fan of blackpink and a person who enjoys listening to classical music...I was really excited when the teaser of 'Shut Down' is released. My two favorites(BP and Classical music) in one. Thank you for this chance! Hoping for more people to appreciate how good is the classical music. Classical music and BP songs are one of my go to whenever I want to find comfort, when my mind is in trouble and wants to focus on studying.
