Is it really the right forum where you can approach or present your views to change the democracy in India? I thought you should work here in India in ground level throughout the year even you are not in power to win the election and with the majority of the seats can change the government. India do have much of food and vegetables and other nutrients that's why she is able to export other needed countries BUT problem is that: Rupees 246/- is required to spent on a deluxe (fully nutritious) thali per person that mostly(76%) Indians are not able to afford that 246 rupees twice a day. This is not my words, 3-4 monts back a survey was published in the leading newspaper. That's why she is considered as hunger country not on the basis of wellfare schemes which offer staple food to 81 crore families. One may survive on PDS food but not be considered as healthy.

A simple search will show maternal mortality was already 97 in 2018-2020 so by now probably even lower, and he's saying its been stagnant at 133. He and the organization whose statistic he is quoting, both are paid by the same people. Global Hunger Index is run by two independent NGOs, while UNICEF india says the maternal mortality is 97. Yet he chooses GHI.
