its no fun when we have to give her needles lots, but this too shall pass and she will forget that we are pinching her daily.

I`d name her 'White shoe" if she was mine.
I saw this with a mother and toddler in a mall one time. There was an invisible string tying the two together, and the mother thought the string was shorter than the toddler did. I hope mom eventually figured it out and learned to walk away. The kid would get anxious when she got near the end of the invisible string, but mom always came back before he would get up to follow.
