The war between Israel and Palestine could not have come at a worse time for Egypt, Currently Egypt has to deal with: The Libyan Crisis The War In Sudan The Gaza Situation and on top of that Ethiopia is filling the GERD Dam because they know Egypt is too busy with everything else going on around them to try to go to war with Ethiopia. The Ethiopian leadership is probably very excited to see that Egypt has their hands full to say the least.

I feel like we are getting progressively more religiously motivated like we used to be which certainly is worrying to see. The Iraq war being justified as "god's war" should do plenty to proof that. Although I think it's important to mention that religion is weaponized as an additional justification and as a populist tool in these conflicts - the true intention is geopolitical in nature I feel like. I doubt the US genuinely supports Israel for religious reasons, rather than finding a buyer for their industrial complex and keeping regional influence.

I would like to point out the fact that maybe the scheme of alliances is too simple and leads to misunderstanding, Europe expressed against Israel on the part of the Palestinian state, we support the two states solution. We are at war against Houti because they are a threat to our economy, that doesn't mean we are allied of Israel, we brought army in the red sea, not in Gaza. So I suggest to remove or make more clear the scheme of alliances. We are technically neutral on the Gaza question.

(I’m not speaking from pro-Israel nor pro-Palestinian) For those who don’t know, Gaza is only 365 square kilometers(141 square miles) and has a population of 2.1 million, that’s 5500 per square kilometer(14,000 per square mile) so they are all crammed in there, in other words it’s impossible to keep civilians out of the crossfire.
