SOMEONE FINALLY ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS IF I TRULY NEED A MASK WITH CARTRIDGES OR JUST A DUST MASK. THANK YOU SO MUCH ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I appreciate you taking the time to make this video!!! Its very well made. I'm new to resin work but I'm working on getting everything set up for it and I'm trying to learn as much as I can before jumping straight in. This helped a lot!!

Same 100% :)
Sheri, I've enjoyed watching a few of your tutorials. One suggestion though. Invest in a lapel microphone if your camera will integrate with it. Unfortunately there is quite an echo/hollow sound and could make it difficult for people with hearing issues to understand you. Otherwise great work.
Thanks for this video! I heard that if you paint a very thin layer of resin over a stretched canvas and let that fully cure before starting a piece of art it will stop the sagging! 🥰🙂
this is such a great beginners tutorial
Amazing ! Thanks for sharing !
Great tips, just saw your video from 3 years ago, and now this. Love the tips
Great tips, I need to get my torch out of time out. Its been there for a while 😂

So beautiful thx 😊
Wow it’s beautiful
I'm a 'mixed media' Sr. and love your 'beginner' video, and some others...but could you put together an even MORE basic one? Tips I could have used for my first experience --before even starting like....I had no idea what material to first put down underneath my project. So I bought a sheet of clear vinyl...and the resin material drips ate it up, made everything sticky, my pieces stuck to it, hardened the vinyl, ending up peeling it to pieces, had to throw out! Then had a slight 'splash' opening either part A or B...which hit my phone nearby (mistake No. 2) messing up screen saver...not to mention my cheap gloves tearing getting some product on my wedding ring, which I'm still trying to clean up!!! Couldn't find much info on what to use for cleanup but rubbing alcohol which wasn't very efficient, so my husband gave me turpentine which didn't help much either...and stunk up the house for days. So after spending a lot of wasted money and my husband kicking me out of the now-smelly dining room, I've set up a clean area, now with poster board paper on my cutting table, in my craft room. Have you quit laughing yet? But overall, my resin project for my first time for me was quite messy to say the least! But somehow, maybe 1/2 of 10 pieces came out quite well for a first timer and love effect overall (after researching why some were too sticky) and don't want to give up! Will be much more careful and use my bad experience and new learned info 2nd time around. Wish me luck and I'll look for a new and more explanatory video, especially for even newer beginners!
Always a good thing to provide information like this for people. It's really important to share our knowledge like this x
Thank you for watching and for the feed back

You can def use acrylic paint to color resin and you Do Not need a lot to get the color,a very tip of a stick will color a cup full. Many resin artist use paints, spray paints, micas, and many other thing.
very well made video and very clear explanations ! thank you so much !! I have a query ... what's the difference between Resin Pour & Acrylic Pour ? thank you for your reply in advance.
The best how-to video I have ever seen. Must watch you more! So happy to have found this...will share on facebook.

Thank you for your tutorials 👍🙂 which setting up of the heat gun do you suggest for popping out bubbles? Sorry for my pour English 😊
Hi! I have a wooden puzzle that I would love to put in epoxy so that it can stand up almost like a book. The front is great to look at, but it would be cool to be able to show off the back as well, which is why I want to avoid a normal picture frame. Would it be possible for you do this custom order for me? If not, would you be able to point me in the direction of someone who might help?
❤❤beautiful, and thanks for all the tips, they’re very helpful👍👍👍
Glad you like them!
Great video easy to follow, nice work😍👍
happy you enjoyed it
found you through your previous video! i noticed some discourse over your audio in the previous video and i wanted to say its so cool to see how your editing skills (and tools i presume) have grown in such a short amount of time! this video is really helpful, and im so thankful for it! thanks!
The 1st video was one of the very 1st videos I ever edited. I'm self-taught so it's all a learning process.
Great tips what brand did you use for the white?
I love this so much and want to start making art like this too. Only I wonder, what do I do with it when its finished? As what is its gonna be used? As what would I be able to 'sell' it as?
I’ve been working with 360 degree platinum surfboard resin, it’s absolutely the best I have used.
Can we use a hair dryer insted of heat gun
Excellent video! Xo
This is a great vid.. I must have a go at this one day.. your accent is intriguing, as you sound Aussie, but occasionally you're a bit cockney as tho you're from London .. I love it.. 👏🌺
I’m aussie but my family is English and I used to live in London for a bit.
Just found you Sheri. So clear now can you tell me more about your course eg how much is it and how many classes and length of time….👍
Hi! Where do you get your wood from?
Thankyou so much for your clear explanation.I recently did a resin workshop and made a beautiful piece. However had to leave it there o/n & when I went to pick it up the next day there were a few finger prints that I hadn't put there. How can I fix this 🙏. I'm so disappointed. Any help to rectify this would be wonderful. Thankyou.
Perfetto
will Procion dye or krohn - ceramitation part A mix well with resin ? btw -t Nice tutorial- thx
😘😘 resin Thenk you
Hi! Beautiful project! How do you reuse the resin drip that hardened? You said you peel it off, it’s it’s hard how do you reuse it?
Lana Luxxe not really anything to do with them. Could cut up and maybe make jewellery
Sheri thanks for this 😊 can I ask did you have to grind or do anything special with the langridge pigment? I have some and it is really grainy
Julie Rannard i make them in to a paste before mixing them into the full amount of resin
sheri vegas thanks!
What’s the song in the background ?.:)
? I Bought resin in gallons but hard for me to handle. Can I put it in smaller containers?
Can i use acrylic paint instead of pigment
I also work with resin! Alcohol ink works just fine😊
Hello, what is the best resin pigment to use ..is their any specific brand
hi, i was wondering the same thing but if you check the amazon link in her bio you will see a section called “pigments” and that should work!
you will have to scroll a bit far down
You can add a touch of acrylic paint or spray paint, modeling paint, mica colors, eye shadow, alcohol ink...many many things work just fine.
Hi i got a few questions! Will be so happy if you will reply 🤍🤍 When working with resin, when it got to our gloves and we touch things like the coloring or the blower, should we take out our gloves first or should we just touch it and wipe the other things after? And how to reuse measuring cups and cleaning the art resin tools?? I’d love to start playing with resin, but i feel its such a waste to throw the gloves and other tools..
Chenmeylinda hey you can wipe the resin off your gloves before you touch other items or I do sometimes put paper towel around my heat gun. So I can turn it on and off with out getting resin on it. You can put your cups upside down let the resin dry then pull out the hard resin the next day.
Can I do resin on a polished table top?
If I am in a large room or well-ventilated area, would that be okay without a mask?
Where I get stuffs for yellow or blue like spatula as other where get pls send me I can order or where get store
where can you get a torch gun?
i have seen people do this and dirty pours with acrylic paint mixed with water flotrol and other stuff but never resion.they usally use resion after to cover it.u said u prime with just house paint is that the same as using a primer?if u didnt prime that borad before u did this would it of just soaked in?i tried to do something with alchole inks and cermacic coaster with out a prime and they just soaked through
I've used resin with acrylic paint and it's just fine. No issues using Art Resin brand.
Ok I have a dumb question do you use a scale to measure your resin or a measuring cup if a measuring cup how do you clean it so it doesn't throw off your 1 to 1 ratio
Where can I get alcohol for clean-up.thankyou
i get confused which resion for what some say this is good for deap dishes or deap molds and this u can only use for that.but i have been using art resion, u said if one is a yellow colour resion u dint like to use it.i have one resion i used to use and one part of that has turned yelllow.i was told it has done that because to much air or something has gone in but it can still be used.i have started to make the alphebe letters and going to start doing coasters how do u keep your colors running to each other? Like the beach if u want the bottom wjite and the top blue.mine keep running in to each other.im trying to play a bit with uv resion i watched a vid with a girl fill a huge mold just with that.im hoe she do that all my uv are small and i have a big tube but that wont even be enough
the effect of the "cells" given by the white pigment? or have you used any additives? Did you mix the resins? Thank you. 🙂
Just from the white pigment 🙂
Im using 2:1 ratio . im a beginner may I know why my resin is bendy ? What is the best temperature for resin to cure ? How much is the exact curing time to get it fully hard ? Is there any tip for the resin to hard like glass ?
Can we skip blow torch step??
Where get heater gun

Hi I love your video however it was hard to understand what you were saying when it came down to everything you use. Can you list everything you use in this video? please and thank you 😊
In agreement! I especially had hoped to hear what the white pigment was called. So disappointed that even though I used captions and replayed it, it was completely unintelligible. This was a great tutorial, otherwise, though. Thank you for making it and sharing with us! 😊
Went to look at class but cannot see what it costs or where to sign up 😬
What accent is this? Great tutorial!
Aussie perhaps
your heatgun looks scary lol i had an old one that was lucky enough to move anything lol so got a new one
vicki jen Its not really about the way it looks as long as it works.
We have same first name
Very informative video but I'm sorry I have to disagree with not using acrylic paints with resin. I have been using acrylic paints with my resin (Art Resin) for over 12 months and have had no problems at all. Thanks
Acrylic paints a water-based and water and resin do not mix they’re not chemically friendly so that’s why I recommend not working with them. You can find over time that the colours can change in the resin or that it can make the resin go gloopy while working with it if you add to much. But if you’re happy with it then keep doing it 😊
Ola te sigo desde España, pero me da muchísima rabia pues no se tu idioma, encanta todo lo que haces,
need to work on the reverb and the speed in this audio and the slow it down you speak to fast ...
Sorry but what are these cells you are speaking about
You don’t need to wear a respirator!
