    • Sheri, I've enjoyed watching a few of your tutorials. One suggestion though. Invest in a lapel microphone if your camera will integrate with it. Unfortunately there is quite an echo/hollow sound and could make it difficult for people with hearing issues to understand you. Otherwise great work.

  • Thanks for this video! I heard that if you paint a very thin layer of resin over a stretched canvas and let that fully cure before starting a piece of art it will stop the sagging! 🥰🙂

  • I'm a 'mixed media' Sr. and love your 'beginner' video, and some others...but could you put together an even MORE basic one? Tips I could have used for my first experience --before even starting like....I had no idea what material to first put down underneath my project. So I bought a sheet of clear vinyl...and the resin material drips ate it up, made everything sticky, my pieces stuck to it, hardened the vinyl, ending up peeling it to pieces, had to throw out! Then had a slight 'splash' opening either part A or B...which hit my phone nearby (mistake No. 2) messing up screen saver...not to mention my cheap gloves tearing getting some product on my wedding ring, which I'm still trying to clean up!!! Couldn't find much info on what to use for cleanup but rubbing alcohol which wasn't very efficient, so my husband gave me turpentine which didn't help much either...and stunk up the house for days. So after spending a lot of wasted money and my husband kicking me out of the now-smelly dining room, I've set up a clean area, now with poster board paper on my cutting table, in my craft room. Have you quit laughing yet? But overall, my resin project for my first time for me was quite messy to say the least! But somehow, maybe 1/2 of 10 pieces came out quite well for a first timer and love effect overall (after researching why some were too sticky) and don't want to give up! Will be much more careful and use my bad experience and new learned info 2nd time around. Wish me luck and I'll look for a new and more explanatory video, especially for even newer beginners!

  • Hi! I have a wooden puzzle that I would love to put in epoxy so that it can stand up almost like a book. The front is great to look at, but it would be cool to be able to show off the back as well, which is why I want to avoid a normal picture frame. Would it be possible for you do this custom order for me? If not, would you be able to point me in the direction of someone who might help?

  • Hi i got a few questions! Will be so happy if you will reply 🤍🤍 When working with resin, when it got to our gloves and we touch things like the coloring or the blower, should we take out our gloves first or should we just touch it and wipe the other things after? And how to reuse measuring cups and cleaning the art resin tools?? I’d love to start playing with resin, but i feel its such a waste to throw the gloves and other tools..

    @sMEYxify@sMEYxify3 жыл бұрын
    • Chenmeylinda hey you can wipe the resin off your gloves before you touch other items or I do sometimes put paper towel around my heat gun. So I can turn it on and off with out getting resin on it. You can put your cups upside down let the resin dry then pull out the hard resin the next day.

Like the beach if u want the bottom wjite and the top blue.mine keep running in to each other.im trying to play a bit with uv resion i watched a vid with a girl fill a huge mold just with that.im hoe she do that all my uv are small and i have a big tube but that wont even be enough

    • Acrylic paints a water-based and water and resin do not mix they’re not chemically friendly so that’s why I recommend not working with them. You can find over time that the colours can change in the resin or that it can make the resin go gloopy while working with it if you add to much. But if you’re happy with it then keep doing it 😊
