Fieldsports Britain - Police smash ’n’ grab guns

2024 ж. 16 Сәу.

The police went into his home when they knew he was out and opened his gun safes like tin cans. In the week we launch legal insurance to go with Fieldsports membership, we profile a shooter who had his guns seized in spectacular manner, following allegations against him by his ex wife. Phil Waymouth warns that shooting is ‘under attack’. On a positive note, Terry Doe unveils the Bugatti Veyron of airguns: the Skout Epoch, Diggory Hadoke comments on the rise of the regional sporting auction, David has the news on the news stump, and James puts together the best hunting videos on KZhead in Hunting KZhead. It’s another bumper #fieldsportsbritain

Starmer is Blair returned from the political dead and last time they were in power they lead the economy to distraction and we’ve never recovered. • Yes, my friend, I agree. I've realised the truth about gun cabinets and the false sense of security around them. I now see if our belongings are locked away, they'll make life difficult for a burglar who I'd expect to be in a rush and have the sound of an alarm going off while they are trespassing and breaking the law. In this case, when the Police called, they'll have the equipment and time to get and do what they want to. No matter how safe we think something is, this film says it all, even when we've done nothing wrong. Lock, stock, and barrel.

Now I can't get a job because I have firearms charges on my CRB check. No crime ever committed, just the police getting people to say I scared them for doing a legal activity, no law broken .

    • The UK, remains, what has fallen is England the land and all its estates, administered funnily enough by the UK Corporation [Bill of Rights preamble] read it closely the "estates of the people" not the people themselves thus consent is required does private property i.e Guns fall into that category of Estates, you bet it will, a little digression there so back to the crux of it, a corporation is is nothing more than a legal concept who most, misguidedly accept as a nation and reside within the confines of that concept, it only exists on paper, just like your state created IDENTIFICATION AND LICENCES, it is a legal ENTITY, not you the flesh and blood, a corporation created and contracted to courtesy of those selling you the illusion and sadly most are not aware of the gravity of the despotic deception they accept as law and life and even their corporate name, doing business as a LLP, companies house will tell you that, and the legislation that comes from it is nothing more than company policy for its subordinates to adhere to, they call it law, it is not law, it is wholly administrative, their own books tell you that, namely Halsburys Laws, and that private company policy aka Legislation only has the force of law via consent, LICENSING anyone, that is your agreement and thus contract, it's worth mentioning you are also under Martial law by acceptance, as a legal contract in commercial intercourse is derived from Admiralty and Maritime law, that's the law of the Sea, the Admiralty is militaristic by nature, and their is your Martial law, they are at war with you through commerce, Article 55 of the 1949 Haigh Convention tells you this through the legal concept of Usury, again more war talk, you are all HOSTILE STATES, being administered upon, LEGALLY, the UK are signatories and ratified in 1980, essentially all LEGAL FRAUD done the complete lack of full non misleading disclosure of the facts, but then they hide behind ignorance of the Law is not to be held as an excuse, as its all out there to be known, consent to it all makes it legal and thus an agreement to become the law you are all liable under. What's disheartening is the misleading information by this channel, condoning in misleading information a d even worse legal advice, there you have it more commercial intercourse at great expense, on and for the record it is the common law where your rights to land based laws are upheld. They want full control and the will use folks ignorance to attack your unalienable right to bare arms that, simple.

  • If. you believe this to be a "one off" and only a recent action by the Police (due to hate crimes and Internet victim hood mentality) your wrong! Back in 2012 my house was raided by armed police with a bomb squad and sniffer dogs whilst I wasn't present, they smashed the front door off its hinges and turned the entire place upside down leaving the premises boarded up in the process.... why? because back then I owned a Webley Vulcan break barrel 22 sub 12ft/lb and 2 other budget side levers putting out around 6-7ft/lb in. .177 cal, no FAC or illegal weapons were owned or found, and why was a warrant granted for this raid and snatch and grab? well it turns out a distant ex had "teamed up" on facebook with a recent bitter ex girlfriend (both in they're mid 40s take in mind) to through the distant ex:s brotherly connections within the police to make a bogus claim that I was a terrorist making bombs! considering also my complete non existant life of not being any part of the world of social media not advertising my hobbies or sporting life and ZERO threats made to any individual the likely hood of said distance ex's brother high ranking in the force had pulled string on her behalf with no evidence. the outcome is myself paying for all the damage the police did, with no charges or apologies and everything taken by this particular police force walked back in to the boot of my car after I was forced in to an interview! and during that interview I had put 2 and 2 together and told the investigating dc who had made the bogus claim, with him slightly grinning but also not confirming my assumption! but yet confirm.ing the original complaint and who it was made by. 2 very bitter women and the first to also (the one related to the law) being a secret drug addict and associate to drug dealers!! (that's why I ended that relationship).... summary, if you own any gun - even a Cork GAT the current system throws upon you with a stern suspicious. mind, when you have connections within the law you can abuse the law by association. and for folks like this man, it can turn the law abiding citizen in to a person that distrusts all that they believed the police and the courts to be about. I feel for this man, and all of you precision sportsmen alike, not to mention the world of farming and agriculture! and yet.... thousand of suspected terrorists prance the streets of London chanting threats to the western democratic society, hurling bricks and bottles at police, stabbing politicians..... but if you own any type. of firearm YOU ARE suspect number 1. This HAS to change! and I speak from experience obviously.

  • I had a less violent situation but similar in context. I had several pistols and some ammunition and shot at a few ranges in the midlands. I heard a story at the LNER club where a shooters wife reported him for intimidation and he suffered a similar removal of his guns by the police. When my ex wife left me , I remembered this story and I arranged my best mate, also a FAC holder, to take my guns and ammo on his ticket by transfer. Strangely enough a few months later I was visited by the police who insisted on seeing my guns, I told them that they were not on the premises and had been transferred to another shooter as I suspected my ex wife would try this tactic. The police did follow this up and tried to intimidate my friend and turned up in force at his house. He called the local firearms office at the Nottingham HQ and refused entry as thee bobbies were not firearms officers. This was an end of the situation, as in 1996 we had to give everything up anyway.

What should have happened was that officers accompany him home and he voluntary surrenders his guns. Once they allegations have been investigated and there is no case to answer the guns are returned. Its always the case when something is reported out of hours the force control manager who has little firearms expierence does a knee jerk reaction and sends the arv around to seize guns. Its all about back covering they arent bothered about you its all down to risk assessing.

    • @RichardEnglander you are wrong. If you are revoked the only cause of action is to appeal through the Crown Court. If you vs you are temporary handed over your guns to the police or an rfd. • @@buyingselling4889 Granting the right to bare arms will never happen, and it's not really part of the conversation, nor subject matter, if you look at the current statistics, it's knife crime that ranks the highest threat across the UK. we're are however debating the automatic assumptions and treatment towards a traditional sport, of Nationwide sportsmen - because a firearm is involved. it's funny how archery and martial arts which include boken , swords, and spire type weapons are not frowned upon if ownership or participation of any offensive or defensive weapon is in concern. the sub 12ft/lb restriction to the majority of air rifles and 6ft/lb restriction to pistols renders as a generalisation less lethal and only purposeful for small pest hunting and target sports. whilst we have gangs accross the country with black market 9mm Mac 10's and an increasingly armed police force who are visibly anxious to use they're offensive weaponry which is and can not be deemed defensive as the opposition has neither the ability or capability to own an equal offensive or defensive weapon legally. The UK is not the USA and if you look at the gun crime statistics of the USA compared to registered owners, you'll discover its the illegal owners of criminals not the legal owners of arms that overwhelm the gun crime related statistics. The overall problem with the UK and the "system" I previously mentioned is - increasingly removing your rights and freedom by means of premeditated automatic assumption (being judgement). Yes there has to be limitation and mediation but that is not happening with this sport. it's not all about flexing what you own or pulling the trigger either, gunsmithing is both a trade and a hobby, it's also a craft, being outside in nature, away from politics, social media and everything else we are bombarded with there is peace, quiet, you and a paper target at 35 yards away and all the time in the world with the birds singing away in the distance, those sparse moments of escapism, out in nature or socialising with common interests at a club with like minded individuals all that respect the sport - Who has the right to Snatch that away from you whilst automatically labelling you as a criminal for it? sorry, it appears we do not agree, and I expect it's because your outlook on "guns" doesn't come from the majority of legal gun owners, club members, hunters and precision sportsmen.

And 'legal fees' being such a problem should be paid by police as they always initiate the issue. It throws financial debt unlawfully at private individuals. They fortune tell a future event and that is unlawful, let alone a mental state of psychopathy. You are in no way Free until the 'law' acts only upon actual crime involving a tangible body.

My FEO was very sensible when I was the victim of false accusation. Yes he held my certificate, but let me carry on shooting with the club as if I were a probationer with my rifles in their armoury. I checked them in and out of my locker with the club secretary there to witness so I had protection. When it was all sorted, I got my certificate back and he was really nice about it all. It seems to me, and this is just my observation that they seem more like a private security firm that has so many quotas to make to earn there budget every quarter, so go after the easy arrest or prosecution, So heres a question how often are the arrest numbers adjusted when there is no prosecution. As an old builder i have worked in and around the mod and police stations and iv personal nollege of tools stolen when the only access was police officers and on another day a full amo clip found on the floor in the car park and no investigation or fuss made, just silence. Now please dont think i have an a thing against police officers as i dont, as i have friends that are or have served in the police force that have dealt with some horrific things and in my book they are bloody heros and to a man they have strong morals and hate corruption, but do you no what every one of those freinds is ex military so perhaps the police commition should actively recruit from the military again as it might save money and keep ex service personal from living ruff and let's face it all ex military personel are well trained. At this moment in time i think the british police force is nothing but a business that is acting like one of the biggest gangs in the uk and a dam wealthy one at that, it all so seems to have a lot of personalitys that have some sort of perconal agenda which is more than likely behind the gun grab as it only takes one person hi up to push for the grab to make them selves look good and to seem like they are supposedly protecting the publick, but we all no most gun crime is committed by un licenced criminals with eleagle guns which we all so no they dont seem to be able to deal with.

I have never shown the videos of my savage ukrainian ex wife abusing me a number of times. I haven't reported her for child kidnapping my kids to another country. Dispite having a clean record all my life im disgusted the way the police behave these days they bring great shame on themselves while destroying the lives of young children and families I believe my marriage would have survived if the police had not gotten involved. Two children would not have lost their father. Wondering if to return to the uk. Events reported in this video show the imoral conduct of governmnet police and the broken system. Always use a top barrister to defend. 'The road to hell is paved with good intentions' that statment has never been more true when decribing the actions of police conduct. What has become of the country my grandads fought for in wwii? What distruction and damage are police doing to families children and society? Why are the police failing to control real criminals? Why is crime out of control in the uk now? Why have the police become incompetent not fit for purpose?

I note the comment below about Kier Starmer having the opinion that no firearms should be in private possession. Add that to the fact that the FAC was initially introduced because the government of the day was worried about the working class rising up like the Bolsheviks, I predict that Labour will try to seize all sporting guns except shotguns citing public safety but actually because they foresee a civil war with Islamists on the horizon and they don't want law abiding citizens being able to defend themselves. I fear there are very dark times ahead for sporting shooting and for our society in general.

You must also provide a criminal record certificate, to prove that you don't have one. Then and only then do the the police carry out a backgroud check. Long-barrelled revolvers and long-barrelled pistols are permitted. The barrel must be at least 30 cm (12 in) long, and the firearm at least 60 cm (24 in) long, which can be achieved by having a permanently attached extension to the muzzle and grip of the firearm. Those that do not meet these criteria are banned under UK law with the exception of muzzle-loading pistols including muzzle-loading revolvers which are permitted as long a they meet the criteria set forth in the regulations. Shotguns are legal with a shotgun certificate as long as they can't hold more than three shotgun shells - including the one in the chamber if it's a pump-action or semi-automatic shotgun. There is no such restriction for rifles. However shotguns with a detachable magazine or larger fixed magazine are still permitted with Section 1 FAC. Rifles are permitted as defined under UK law as a rifled firearm with a barrel longer than 30 cm (12 in) and a total length must be longer than 60 cm (24 in). Rifles are permitted in any calibre size as long as it doesn’t meet the definition of self-loading (semi-automatic) or pump-action. Semi-automatic or pump-action rifles are only permitted at .22 rimfire calibre.

    • You don't think it's unjust that the cops can come into your home and take your property,no matter what it is just because someone accused you of something? What's to stop an ex from doing that because they are pissed or a pissed off in law or neighbor? With all the crap you have to go through to get a legal firearm Ill bet it's like having a concealed carry permit in the US.The people who go through all the bulls**t to get one are less likely to commit a crime than a police officer is.There should have to be proof of a crime before the storm troopers can march into your home and confiscate your legally owned property.Anything else is unjust.

  • Yes again proving what I have always said. The police should not be in charge of firearms licensing. It's a conflict of interest

    • I would think so. Its a tad obvious since they are more then likely to be against any sort of power imbalance between them and the public. Because we dont have a lot of the protections that say the US contitution provides and even then Americans have issues. That and lawyering is expensive. Give the licensing to a Different dedicated department and seperate it clean from the police. They get NO say. and on the plus side they cannot be blamed for any later transgresssions.

  • Same old shit from the old bill. Easy targets, been there, oppressive phone call and threats. Then sudden back step after I said we will go to court and I don’t take threats. Bloody joke.

  • Why did the Police just not ask the owner for the Keys to his cabinet and then keep them in storage until they'd checked things out? The police caused criminal damage here, presumably with no warrant. The damage done was completely unnecessary.

  • The public don’t recognise the vast majority of people have safety only from bejng hidden within the herd of the populace. Anyone who stands out and thus has a “Police Encounter” is at risk of one thing and one this only and that is “Harm”.
