In this video, I decided to make a very interesting cutting tool for my lathe.
It is relatively easy to do and if you have a lathe you should be able to handle it :)

I wondered why he had multiple sets of knurling wheels on that tool he made. Then he showed us there's different sizes which I didn't know until now. Nice job! 👍
How awesome was that with no crappy music, everything you needed to know and nothing you didn't.
This give a great finished look. I thought for sure that plastic cup was going to fly off when it touched the belt. Your shop projects and products will look top quality.
Crisp, short, thorough - well explained without words. Perfect!
Good work! That was a clever way to center the tool to the spindle, by welding it in situ. You should mention the knurling tool in the description or something to make it easier for others to find.
Man nice to have you back! Very clever project! We need a shop tour! I want to see how you have assembled all your tools and maschines! :-) Stay healthy and greetings from Germany :-)
The BEST KZhead channel by far!!!! 👍👍
Excellent work my friend!! Video production taken to another level as well.
Enjoyed watching this the whole process was top notch, thanks.
Greetings from Poland NY, USA. Very nice workmanship, and a very good video.
the knurl looks awesome
I always enjoy your builds!
Quite an interesting project with some really cool footage.
I like how some of your videos are like "And what is this going to be used for??!?!" and then then "OOHHHHH!!! That's kewl!!" moment at the end 😉😎👍
Now that's an interesting thought. I found a knurl tool but it was for a different sized tool holder. Then I made an adapter out of aluminum to adapt from smaller to bigger size. But making one from scratch? Oh I will have to do that.
That’s pretty awesome. I love it.
Another excellent idea and build 👏👌
Magic!!! Brilliant job 👌💪
Buen trabajo! Muy profesional. Felicidades!
Yea..in my language this tool called A KARTEL. So when we use it called KARTELING. Thank you for sharing this idea...Knurling tool for lathe machine. Regards 🙏✔👍👌
A do tego, świetnie zmontowany filmik. Świetna robota, kibicuję.
Nice to see someone who knows how to layout a bolt circle by using dividers. Step off to the diameter. Tried n true every time.
you guys are doing great man!
Me the entire video : But what is he making?! Me at the end : Oooooh, THAT kind of cutting!

Good tool build as usual. We posted this video on our homemade tools forum this week :)
Piękna robota !
😃muy buena herramienta 👏👏👏👌👌👌 gracias por compartir
I recently purchased a set of tap sockets and since using them I wonder how I’ve done without all these years. What’s the 3/8 Chuck your using for the taps? I could do the same thing using a tap socket but wouldn’t want to use an impact to run threads. Is it a standard Chuck but has a 3/8’ths square base? Maybe you could share the brand or show a close up on it, I’d like to get one... Anyway nice knurler, I’m digging the thought you put into it to make it a three size tool! Great job!
Awesome skills you are genius worker metal

Pamiętam do dziś jak jako uczeń nieistniejącego już Technikum Elektrycznego Nr 1 w Warszawie podczas zajęć warsztatowych na tokarce wykonywałem wkręty radełkowane. To już wieki temu.

Complete working tools have lathes, saws, electric welding and also tools to make drat work so easy to make work tools
I have to make me one of these. There are a lot of handles that need some knurling here. 😀
Hello my friend
everything will be knurled from now on haha For the german in me I have to say it though: This is not a cutting tool, its a knurling tool. The material is not cut but deformed ;)
Very beautiful
Bom trabalho, parabéns!
Good job
You have something mounted in your manual drill to hold the tap, some sort of clutch or something. Do you have a link or a name for that? I was looking for some time for something like that. Thanks for your time
U still be Awesome. I'm a bit joulous about it. 😉 I have to make also one. 👍🏼
Idziemy po milion widzów !
Nice!
Nice were did you buy the round cutters you mounted on your tool?
Nice project. What tapping attachment was you were using. Where can I buy one thx.
Cut the thread with the same pitch as the pitch on knurling tool ,then try to knurl it (i seen it done with single roller ,i wonder if 2 would make it different).
Hello mister very good job well done my friend
nice look!!!
