Watch the three-year journey of a 1969 Dodge Charger from barn find to crossing the block at Mecum Auctions in Dallas. Detroit Muscle's Marc Christ and Tommy Boshers complete the restoration that results in a $200,000 sale number at auction! #dodge #dodgecharger
Holy crap I just watched a 45 min episode and forgot to pick up my wife and son from Church! Damn good show!
They were just wasting time there anyway, time they will never get back
@@pjimmbojimmbo1990 true story lol
The car gods will forgive you, just say the Road & Track company mission five times, and repeat all the Daytona 500 winners from the past ten years. All will be forgiven.
Jesus will forgive you , he is into cars i bet !! The wife,,,,not so much ! LOL
Jesus IS into cars, he is on our soccer team he's a fun guy at a party. We pronounce his name "Hey-zeus."
200K car and Tommy rockin' five dollar gas station sunglasses. He's my favorite character on these shows.
You act like he has ANYTHING to do with the budget...

@@joshuamcguire2423 You act like you can't get the joke.
Just a good ol country boy😀
The Executioner Tommy is the all time star and veteran of Powe Nation. Remember when Lou used to call him ‘Biscuit’ ?
Charger, Challenger, SuperBee, Cuda and last but not least the Road Runner. Truly Mopar power.
all made by company that produces crap/
@@hughjazzole2037 today vs yesterday... Mopar had the best Muscle back then. Today, shameful. Look what they did to the Dart? and the Charger has 4 doors? hmm

My opinion he got it at a steal. The love and time it took for that car to go from barn to auction is priceless. Great job
We found these parts laying around the shop, now its a 200K car
Not to mention the 1,000 man hours in a shop. What is that $50k-75k in just labor alone.
@@MrClarkisgod don't believe everything you're told. I'm sure took a bit but their own labor for their own car is an assumed value.
yea was gonna say probably more than 200k into the build as it is....
@Private Name withheld " fools are easily parted with their money. 😂🤣😂🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑" I think this is the quote you were looking for: "..at particular times a great deal of stupid people have a great deal of stupid money" - Walter Bagehot Nice build, but at @ 200k, I'd rather raise another 50 or so, and go for something from the RingBrothers.
@@MrClarkisgod A lot more than that bro.
for someone who resto-modded an old-ass, broken and beaten Daytona to a high 7’s Hellcat-powered fighting and screaming beast of a car from almost scratch, it really warms my heart to see other people doing such things and things alike to such an extent just like I did, especially on such a recognized classic badass of a car. cheers for this project. you guys are amazing.
44:21 Seeing the car leave gave him goosebumps or he's just tweakin.
Just saw it.......hahaha hilarious!
Dude LOVED it haha
"A" class build!! Someone got a deal for $200,00 for the amount of hours put in on this restoration. The quality of the work, NO SHORT CUTS, UNBELIEVABLE!! I wish I could afford for these guys to do my restoration on '73 Mustang convertible with 351 Cleveland. Suspension upgrade- Quadralink & coilover, stroke motor and a paint job like that. These guys are amazing!! Love watching their work!!
The 'Power Nation' Directors & Producers do a great job with each episode. Very smooth TV viewing.
It is a TV Show.
I usually don't like to see people chop up a classic muscle car just because they can, but this car looks like the best of both new and old. Well done!
THG TCHR I agree but the car does look almost original. I would’ve rather of seen had classic wheels on it and redline tires. I’m sure it handles better with the modern rims and tires?
You are correct. I like to see cars like this one that are true to the spirit of the original cars while showing what is possible with modern technology. This car is beautiful.
Just saw the build and auction tonight. A beautiful job and $200K. Brought tears to my eyes. That'll era of charger is my favorite body style. Great job guys!
Thanks for sharing.. love it when each task was explained details by details.. keep up the good work 👍👍
Great part: New owner's going to drive it. Love that.

Totally incredible. As a dodge SRT charger owner... you guys did dodge proud. I love this. One of my favorite restorations ever. Great engine/trans choice too.👍 Awesome job guy's 👏👏👏
I'm *@
I’d say you guys hit it Double A, Top Drawer all the way. What a totally awesome build. Congratulations. I’d be proud as punch to have this one in my garage.
It's nice to see this car do so well. Not every labour of love gets appreciated as it should.
Wow what an amazing car!! Anyone would be proud to own it, sadly I will never be able to buy such a car but they sure are something to see. And I usually NEVER sit through a video that's going to run 45min. long but it was fascinating to see to what extent it was modified and HOW it was done.
Hi guys. I'm just a French watching this video with hearts in my eyes. Thank you for sharing your passion and doing such a great work on these abandoned cars in barns, restoring them and puttin'em on top of their true essence of their beauty.
I love to see that someone outside North America can appreciate these loud, obnoxious, impractical, and great old hunks of metal. Just goes to show there's Car Guys everywhere. Hope you can make it to the USA for an American car show
"Im gon drive it!" good to hear, better than sitting on display
One of the nicest and refined modded mopars I've ever seen. Style & substance combined in a beautiful one of a kind package.
Incredible , Awesome car ! The gentleman that bought it wants to enjoy driving it and that's how it should be . Congratulations , you guys are great !
This is awesome seeing the play by play build. Great ride and with a Hellcat engine can't beat that! Classic and current technology come together.
good on you guys, the new owner said it all when he said who would not want to drive that beautiful car, congrats to the new owner as well, what a car
So beautiful!!! Love the colors and interior is sweet. I fell in love with this car. I don't want a car like this one, I WANT THIS ONE!!
Stunning labour of love guys. That's EXACTLY how a Charger should look and modernised. WOW. Bravo and congrats.
I wish dodge brought back the old 1969 charger body but with a modern powertrain and interior. That would sell like hotcakes.
@@seanbrosnan2074 Sounds like a great idea.
This was an awesome episode!! And an even more awesome car! The new owner looks quite happy! Very well done and congratulations!
You guys are the best, this is real American dream ❤️
It doesn't matter about the money. Its the satisfaction of stepping back and looking and saying we did that.
So they bought a junker for $20k. Put $80k worth of parts into it. Then $100k worth of labor.. And then sold it for 200k. I hope they didn't leave a full tank of gas in it.
If you break even making a youtube video your doing pretty good.
one of these falling apart ,rusted and half of it missing is 10-15k
They also said 3 year project
@G hrvyck your car preference doesn’t reflect your personality buddy, you could be the nicest person on earth while liking mopar.
Quit it with the foul mouthed insults. Coming off like a bunch of shitbags We re all car guys so why get bent out of shape about it all. Be it Dodge Ford or Chev, all these car manufacturers have put out great cars at dif periods in time. Today Im a Dodge guy but if I were coming up bk in the day I'd have surely been a chev 1st guy with the chevelles, camaros, Novas. Prob still would ve had to have a 68 charger but C'mon
An absolutely beautiful car! Every choice from the Hellcat crate engine to the vinyl top to AC was right on the money. I totally love watching you guys work and the interesting and fun cars you produce. Thank you!
The attention to detail and choice of parts really made this car stand out! It's great to see the passion and hard work that goes into creating these amazing vehicles.
overpriced crap
@@TheProtagonistDies I'm sure your dad is a crap person.
The vinyl top and the red interior are hideous lol. Too bad. Black on black would've been the chef's kiss. $200k USD is insane, but hey better the rich spend their money than sit on it.
In all the decades I have been into American muscle I think this has to be my favourite car build I have seen anywhere.
That is a beautiful Beast. I love how it turned out. My dream car personified and made real. I had a few tears for it. I absolutely love that car.
Absolutely awesome. Being able to see the restomod in this much detail made it possible to see why it sold for $200k.
these kind of shows is the reason why people got a rusted out old car with no frame, motor or tires think it is worth 5k
+Terrath 12 - They paid $20,000 for this relic as a base for the build! A 1,000 hours was invested in body work alone!
@@carlcampbell6827 honestly with a big block that's running and the body was pretty straight, but with a broken motor mount, interior falling apart, I would of paid 8k for it.
@@Terrath12 - I suppose the car would readily pull 15K however the key is how much additional cash are you willing to sink into the car without going in way over your head? I guess if a person was making say $150,000 - $200,000 a year they could splurge a bit, but they probably didnt get where they are by making bad investments on cars! Even well to do people can not afford to loose say $35,000 to $75,000 or more on a hobby car.
hahahahaha.....true
Yep and I make bank on everyone I sell...
You Fellas really went over the top with that Charger Rebuild Great Job!!!!!
Great Build...what a Masterpiece!!
I loved this build, my gosh. The buyer, yep, drive it man! Honestly, you're entering exotic prices with these type builds (restoromods), and truth be told, I'd take a brand new Charger Hellcat over anything from Europe, anyday. Wow. Well done gentlemen! Subscribed!
Nice job, guys. This was a really good episode.
I need to Get my Ass Restoring my Cars already but damn it's hard Alone
Y'all killed it with that build. Congrats
Those guys are at the top of the restoration level, experienced, skillful and creative people. They can work on anything vintage, rusty and almost of no value to something look brand new, of high quality build, very powerful and attractive to buyers. Amazing video !
Gc-
Liked the longer build video the car turned out great!
You know guys I watched the entire vid and I gotta tell ya I felt a tug too when the car went out to the auction floor. In 1968 I was a freshman in HS and these cars were in my neighborhood. It took me way back and what a gorgeous car, I am not a black and red car guy but this one is awesome!
When you get back what you put into it, this is a good thing. When you created a beautiful thing, this is a great thing!
Well done guys this car is sharp one of my favorite mopars
You guys really did a great job. I congratulate you, and wish you lots of success. I always loved American cars, especially muscle cars. I hope I can get one, even if it's old and beat up.
A sweet ride... I want one!
That is one beautiful machine nice job guys on a phenomenal build it’s worth every penny that guy paid for it I hope he enjoys it and passes it on to his children 👍
Wow that is one awesome ride thank you for sharing
"The quality of the instalation" Huge kink in the coolant return hose.
What a spectacular effort! Very very well deserved gentlemen 👏
Yes, stunning. Went to the right buyer too. Gonna drive her, not lock her up in a garage! :)
Dude that’s a badass charger .....🔥. Hellcat droppin 700+ HP to the ground...! Color and interior sick.
Absolutely gorgeous car!!! What a build!! Great video!
This is one of my favorite Cars... Love from PAKISTAN 🇵🇰🇵🇰
that is a beautiful car...kudos to the guy who could afford a $200k price
New owner looks like an average Walmart shopper you would see browsing the fishing isle…. Yet is an absolute baller, just amazing
I'm 32 years old, never cared for cars at all - but these old muscle cars wake an interest and desire in me as I have never felt it when I was younger.
You guys rocked the boat.. Great job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've never been a fan of black cars, but you guys made me into one with this build. Such an awesome job.
Man I’m so happy for y’all, dude that was so fking hype man.
I smiled big when it sold, like I helped build it. Excellent job.
That era chargers looked so awesome. hide away headlights opening at night so cool.
This is the best KZhead channel I have found in 2019. Hosts are great, video and montage is great. Keep it up!
and it's actually just uploading old episodes that they (PowerBlock, now PowerNation/Spike TV) used to air on tv lol.
These shows are 5-15 years old
chills! that's what I got looking at it. someday maybe...
Watching this on my smart tv reminds me of the of Sunday mornings many years ago 🙂
This is my dream car. I will own a black 1969 Charger R/T with a built HEMI w/5 speed manual, no matter what it cost.
👍 great car, hard job, but its love
tommy has to be my favorite, a real person lol
Agreed, finally a tv show personality that isn't fake as can be. Hes just a good ol southern boy and he makes the show.
$200,000. Wow. You guys knocked it outa da park. It’ll be hard to match that success. Well done. Well rewarded. 👍

This is my favorite video on this great channel. 45 minutes of excellence on 1 car. Awesome!!

In Jamaica we got lots of these cars in a junk yard just laying around if we did got people like you guys maybe we would see a lot of classic cars on the road
36:50 "I started thinking about cars that I had duplicates of" guy out here taking about his cars like it's a trading card game
smdh, that's sad. Cars are for driving, that's why I was glad the guy that purchased the Charger is going to use the crap out of it.
They think it is, a game that is
I find this content very likeable. And the way they talk :D Love it :D
With your show Power nation and Detroit Muscle (And Sponsors) The Restomod Market is up and running 🎽 ! Graveyard Cars in Oregon did a Hellcat retrofit in A Mopar But You Guys raised the Bar 🪝🙄! Great Job 👍
Damn $200k and worth every penny. Beautiful build guys. Such a well-done car.
Every single moment we were looking at the finished car I had that same feeling you get in your chest when the pretty girl catches you looking at her from across the room and she gives you a little wink. God damn that things beautiful.
Yes sir
I just can't imagine owning one of those then one day leaving it to sit and having the next generation have no passion for it and sell it, I can't think of anything more heartbreaking 😢
We can't take them with us when we leave. Just imagine in 30 years when people are drooling over resto 90's civic hatchbacks.

This boosted my energy for the 67 Camaro we are building right now.
As a tail-end Boomer (1959), its great to see that the audience has people under 65 who seem genuinely interested in these cars. To folks born after the factory muscle cars stopped rolling off production lines, know this - Boomers (like every generation before us) won't live forever even if some seem to have been around since Moses ;)
That rear view mirror comment was GOLD
31:55 Am I the only one that saw sparks coming out from under the car???
I saw that too. I thought it was water...or maybe fuel. Regardless, something was definitely leaking. Damn Chrysler's. Lol
Good eye. Looks like fluids to me
I'm guessing a/c.
Mannnn if I had the money I’d do what yall did, keep it, drive it until it stops, and redo it. That’s dodge is beautiful
Those B body, late 60s chargers were the epitome the muscle era. These guys know how to do a restomod right. Keep it classy while modernizing it.
When a video is 45 minutes longer than it needs to be.
Specially for a sales video … Stoppt watching after 10 minutes (some fast forward button applied during that time) … Wasted my precious time!
