Jeff - You have an incredible talent for "skipping a rock across the ocean". As a ServiceNow newbie, I found your technique of providing a framework overview before diving deeper very effective. By using simple, non-technical language, I was never "lost" and your pace was spot on. The data you presented in the slides was well-organized and summarized making the slides an effective reference tool for the future. Thank you for saving us UNTOLD hours of time trying to grasp SN by freely sharing your knowledge in such an effective manner.
Hey Thom, I'm so thankful for your feeedback! The real driver behind this channel was to try and explain technical things as simply as possible. Thanks for making me feel like I'm accomplishing something here!😀
Love the clarity and to the point discussion! Thanks for uploading. I started my journey into Service NOW

Your videos solidified my understanding of each topic, please create more videos of service catalogue, virtual agent, flow designer etc . I am working my way through the modules on the Now Learning platform. Thanks again for all your hard work and time spent creating each video.

Hey Mohsin, thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad it was helpful!
My job role needed me to be aware of ServiceNow application to understand my customer's pain point and propose them solutions around ServiceNow, a new application they are trying to get a hang of. I am a complete freshman in SN and I am so glad that I landed at your channel. The way you have explained ServiceNow in a simple, lucid manner is commendable. Very rarely I have come across people who can deliver technical stuffs so easily in a non-technical way, you have made my day. I feel more confident in understanding this platform, it's various modules and terminologies that are frequently used during out discussions. Thank you so so so much, Jeff !!!!! Will watch all the videos. Keep up your good work.
Thanks so much for the feedback and for being part of the channel!
it helps me a lot to get started professionally, I'm very thanks full to you for creating such a nice informative material. it's 5 star for this page with bundle of thanks.
Thanks for the feedback!
Amazing information. The Healthcare organization I work for has implemented Service Now. The IT department seems to love it. I am having a problem seeing how Service Now applies to running a Hospital Facility. I work in engineering. We had an amazing program that manages our facility. I could bring up equipment history. I could search for a bed and find out how many times we have worked on that bed. I could see when a generator was last serviced. I am having problems learning how to find things within Service now.
For something specific like that I’d guess you’d probably need to develop an app yourself, but you might check the ServiceNow store to see if there is anything out there. Look for some ServiceNow developer training. You could develop an app right within ServiceNow.
I have been binge watching your videos for a while now. Happy to share that I recently passed the CSA certification exam. I want to persue the ITSM certification, however I realize the pre-requisite is approximately $2,000.00 before certification fee😳😳😳
Gareth, this is the best sort of feedback I get. Congratulations on getting your CSA Certification! Ugh on the cost of the ITSM cert.. Are you saying enrollment into the required preReq course cost that much? I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know, and congrats again on your great accomplishment!
Awesome explanation
Thanks!
Jeff - I want to thank you for this context. I am a Project Manager recently got laid off and felt that I needed to get technical and was fascinated with SNOW. I just started my journey and your videos are absolutely appreciated for someone new like me in the technical environment.

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for your feedback and for being part of the channel!
Very good and helpful video
Thanks for your feedback and for being part of the channel!
I see the title is listed as system ad How is that different from Implementation icon selected early on? I’m very new to this and I’m very excited! Thanks for the great and simple descriptions.
Hey Mann, sorry I'm so late in responding. Let me know if you still have questions and I'll sure try to help! Thanks for your feedback!
I’d love to see a v2 that explains the relationship visually between portal form variables and how they get passed the the DB and then how that is presented on the application side form from the DB using views.
Yeah, there is so much to cover; I think a V2 is def in order. Keep an eye on the channel, and thanks for the suggestion!
cool information
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the comment!
❤❤
Hey Jeff, thanks very much for your sharing! Learnt a lot from this video.. can't help asking, what makes servicenow much easier to deloy compared to traditional customized software? when you mentioned servicenow platform is out of box and ready to use... what defines the out of box features for servicenow?..
Hey Kevin, I have another more general video that might help answer some of your questions. Here's the link: kzhead.info/sun/h656Z6mdpZmti2w/bejne.html You will see there are tons of pre-built applications that come with ServiceNow. And, it also allows for full custom development of your own apps. Have a look at that video and let me know if you have additional questions. And, thanks for your feedback!!
exist a demo where i can practice everyday and get experience.?
Hi Jeff - Thank you for your video! I am a developer and I am interested in would like to learn about ServiceNow. May I have a tutorial and trial version for a developer to practice ServiceNow? Thank you!
Hey Nhan, thanks for the feedback! Have a look at the link below for the steps you can take to get a Personal Developer Instance (PDI) of ServiceNow that you can use to continue learning. How to get a ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance: kzhead.info/sun/d7aOacewf1-Kfp8/bejne.html
Does ServiceNow offer a free trial or a sandbox that i can play and mess around with?
They do. It's called a Personal Developer Instance (PDI) and I've published a video walking you through how to get setup: kzhead.info/sun/d7aOacewf1-Kfp8/bejne.html
so servicenow is just like sharepoint and some cmdb software. Yeah cloud based and stuff but I doubt the price is worth it. Thanks for walking us through it though. Greets from the Netherlands.
Thanks for watching and being part of the channel!
Hey can you help me out, i recently got a job as service now trainee should i join it not, is it good for carrier growth or not, does it have coding in it?
I would definitely recommend you jump into ServiceNow. I was hesitant at first, as I too was a hands-on coder. There are lots of opportunities to write code, be creative, and help solve business problems within ServiceNow.
Clicking the ALL button for the first time is like unlocking someone else's iPhone and trying to find an app when you're an Android user.
Ha! Yeah, I get that. There is a LOT there, especially if you have the admin role.
When giving a presentation, don't smack your lips so much.
I'll do my best to work on this. HAHAH, I've never actually noticed, but now it's all I hear.
