When Madison is on, she's a highlight reel. Amazing shots today and some good movement to go with it. Fantastic.
The amount of power and control from Madison this match was something else. That's a solid win. It didn't look like Samsonova was at 100% here, but good effort from her.
I have never seen her playing so good. I always thought she is a bit soft mentally. Really solid. Just wow, from Iga fan 🎉

It's hard to be at your best when your opponent is playing so well
Madison Keys is a veryyy dangerous player in any draw. She’s the type that goes off for months and then comes back to a tournament and wrecks the whole draw. No one ever sees it coming. She is easily top 10 talent.
Who knows ? Wining one game mean nothing - I just face reality not visions. This is sport and all of the players rank from 40 wants to beat the 20. Be in 10 is dream... Nobody is unbeatable but have dreams to be the best in this crazy competition
I agree with McK. She should have won many majors by now, but the most important thing that would help her is if she learned to close her mouth and breathe through her nose. It takes practice, but it can be done. Good luck to Maddie and get ready to win the next big match coming up in 2024.❤❤❤
The combination of power and spin off both wings is scary.
Maddie is top 10 talent and I pray for an injury free rest of the season. She played in some big matches last year and i feel like she'll start winning them this year and the spanish clay suits her game ❤❤❤
You can’t say a top talent in the age of 29 yrs old. She has lost 2/3 of her career matches.

@@utetennisfan5458 And it doesn’t mean that I don’t like her, for sure injuries have played a part of these stats. She has been #7, so it’s really good. I just think that sometimes she doesn’t have that killer instinct.

When Madi plays like that, she's top4. Some of the other matches I've watched in this tourney did not have many winners from the baseline. Madi was ripping winners left & right.

Liudmila took a real caning here. Keys can do that to opponents. But as usual Samsonova was gracious throughout. I hope the tide turns for her.

Madison was easily supposed to be the next Lindsey Davenport with her easy power. It is such a shame that she was in her prime in an era of counterpunchers (Halep, Kerber, Stephens, Svitolina etc.) who masterfully neutralized her power. I feel like if she was peaking NOW in this power play era she'd be dominating.
Madison has her good days but sadly she a level below the top girls even at her best.

За Самсу просто нет никакого смысла болеть - она играет совершенно непредсказуемо даже в одном матче и в одном сете, не говоря уже о турнире. Может в одном гейме сыграть как богиня, а в следующем полностью развалиться. Может сделать три двойных в одном гейме. Таких резких перепадов в качестве игры нет наверное ни у кого в туре. Ну может быть еще у Остапенко...
У меня подозрение что кейс не спортсменка а бизнес вумен. Таких гнать надо из спорта
