Thanks Dekay, I built the table in sketchup with about 350 mm off the length so I have easy access to my tow trailer. I also routed out a hole and added a router plate for my Dewalt palm router. Absolutely over the moon with the workbench. So sturdy and the channel on the top board was inspired, so easy to cut boards using my track saw. Thanks again, Kevin from UK
Hey thanks man! This was the most straight forward and practical video I've seen on building a work bench. I'm gonna be revisiting this a lot as I build mine.
This is fantastic and it’s one of the first times I feel like I can actually follow and complete this build myself .
I love how you highlight the section of the build you are working on in the top-left corner. Very helpful for visual learners like myself!

I've just done my plans after watching many people's ideas on YT. I have ordered timber for tomorrow and now I see some really smart additions to be made! I really like what you have done and subbed as a result. Thanks!
I am very happy that my video is helpful to you. Thanks for the kind words :D

I have watched several vids on the subject and this one seems like the best so far. Simple, strong, and useful. I like the thought of using plywood for the table top instead of spending a ton of hours building up a HD butcher block top. Mainly because I wont worry about blemishes at all with a top like this. Every now and again you can just make a new top when it wears out. Maybe just throw on a little linseed oil for a little added protection and... good.
Thanks for the good info and comments. =)
Dekay, thank you so so much for sharing this. I just bought my first table saw and looking to build an extension table for it. Your video is clear-cut. The sketch before each section is amazing. I am a fan 😍 😊😊😊 🇦🇺
This is the perfect Workbench. Fantastic job! I will build this myself, since I have very little space and this is exactly what I need.
Thank you =)
Subbed. This is fantastic and with simple tools instead of a garage of sponsored stuff no entry level woodworker could afford. Fantastic build and i appreciate the plans at the start.
Thank you =)
Really liked how you showed where you are in the process . Thanks for a great video
Thank you too =)
love the innovations... the split in the top could serve so many functions. great work.
Thank you =)
@@dekayscrafts Sorry, I'm a beginner. What is the benefit of the split in the top? Great looking bench, btw.

I really appreciate you keeping it real. So many others on YT just have too much money sunk into their shops for my taste. Your shop looks more like what I can do. MANY THANKS!!
I am very thankful too. =)
I saved a few ideas from watching all the workbench videos. I like yours a lot especially the table saw addition. Also the French cleat, which I’ve never made but there’s videos on that too. Thanks for the ideas 💡 and hopefully mine comes out like yours. Thanks 🙏🏿
I'm really glad it helped you. Thanks =)
Thank you Deekay for Sharing your Projekts. I got a lot of Inspiration from your Videos. Next Month i will Start with Garage

I’ve been planning on Building myself a Work bench and as probably most do, I look to KZhead for help. I’ve found and watched many work bench videos but this is the first that has shown, you don’t need expensive equipment or advanced techniques to build one. Many thanks I appreciate the video 👍
Thank you. 👍👍👍👍

A really nice project, thanks for sharing.

Nice to see the table saw as a forethought and not an afterthought like most.
Thank you =)
Beautiful project and exceptionally well-built!!! Kudos!!!
definitely what I've been looking for!!! simply and reliable!! great video!!!
Amazing. Subscribed. I look forward to seeing more from you.
Thank you very much =)
The toilet paper rolls on the end made me laugh! Great bench, Excellent skills! I subscribed, thank you!
Thank you too :-))
Nice looking work bench with integrated table saw. Nice sharp chisels make the work easier. You have some awesome skill.
Absolutely enjoyed watching. You take a lot of pride in your work. I knew you were good when you brought out the Wooden Rolls Royce Toolbox. I have got to have one of them. When you know what you doing a master of your craft, you don't need 5.000 pds of tools. I plan to Sub and 👍. And probably spend the rest of my life trying to build that RRT.
Thank you for your warm words. Your comment is a great force for me. =)
Muchas gracias
The tool hanger boards are a brilliant idea. I'm building a shed at the moment and that will find a good use there. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for watching?? well thank you for making such a nice table and giving us ideas so simple and effective.
Thank you very much =)👍👍👍
Simple but effective. Smart design. Greetings from El Salvador (Central America)
Thank you =)
One of the best table saw builds I’ve seen. Great job.
Thank you :-)
This is a very functional workbench. Great work!
Great to see someone building a bench without $6000 worth of power tools and $2000 worth of clamps.
Thank you thank you :)
I was thinking the exact same thing! Outstanding work on that masterpiece
Yeah it’s always crazy seeing these other guys with every festool tool you can buy, and $160 woodpecker squares. I mean it’s great they are able to have those tools to work with but man, I definitely can’t afford that stuff lol
Excellent observation.
@@olsonhubert9764 I bought Ted's program a year ago last Christmas and I am getting my tools together and 3D printing things that will be very useful.
I really like the work bench, very good idea. I will be making something very similar in the future. Keep up the good work.

Best workbench instructions for beginners. So many other instructions had complicated cuts.
The best work table ever......
Thank you =)
That corner clamp is a BEAST. I love it. Great idea, and I hope you don't mind if I use it.
Nice! Picked up a lot of tips and tricks from this and storage ideas for a small shop.
Very good workbench! Do you have a video showing how to make the box you use to keep the screws? Congratulations from Brazil.

Those cleats aren’t going anywhere! Very nice build
Thank you👍
after putting off working on my workshop tables till I have a working dust collection system I started yesterday by building a stand for my benchtop jointer, next step is to build a benchtop that can work as an extension to my table saw and your design is a lot of what I was thinking of but don't know how to do. I watched a lot of videos and many designs but I wasn't confident enough to do any of them. watching your bench gave me the motivation and the knowledge I need to build my own. thanks a lot man
Thank you for your kind words. I'm really glad it helped. I look forward to success in your work. =)
@@dekayscrafts I finished my bench two weeks ago, I went with the same idea but had to put a pillar under my table saw as I felt it was too heavy and was worried it might fall. I bought some thick poly carbonite today and was looking for ideas to fit it on the other side of the table saw and attach a router to it. I made the insert and attached my router to it but still need to make a grove with the right dimensions to fit that insert. thanks for the inspiration mate :)
Very nice job! I liked the use of half-lap joints on the legs. I am re-arranging my shop which is small too (16'x10'), and I have been wanting to make a bench with my Dewalt Table saw incorporated into it. I like this simple design, so I may take the way you mounted the saw table to the bench. I'm a new subscriber and look forward to more videos.
EXCELENTE VÍDEO SALUDOS DESDE MÉXICO

Nice bench. I was wondering what the groove was for. However, you have to unload the tool slot every time you have to rip a large piece of plywood.
I don't cut plywood very often, so I don't use table saw often. That's why I made it like this. Thank you.
Excellent video. Thank you very much for sharing it. You are a very talented and imaginative young man. Look forward to seeing more and learning much.
Thank you. I will show you more effort
This is the one!! This is the design I am going to make. I have some adjustments I'm gonna make, but I can't wait to get this going!
I liked the ratchet strap as a clamp.
Thank you 👍
I have watched several of your videos. Great work once again. If only the build actually took 10 minutes :D. I am looking forward to trying this one day soon.
I like it! Now I only need the space to build my shop... 😭😭
It will come true 😀😀
You can do it in a 1 car garage. Trust me, it's all the space i have and I've made it work!
what wood are you using? Perfect!! 👍🏼
It's just plywood (15t)
Complimenti sinceri ! Ottimo lavoro ! Passione , capacità e piacere nel costruire ! Bravo !!!
Grazie Mille.😄
As a newbie I could really follow this! Thank you. I have lots to learn but this is a great starter.
Awesome Can you provide build plans?
It's all in the video =)

Very nice work!
O man, just few and single tools, but a lot of skills and generosity, you made a great job and inspire us , (who are not profesionals), tx a lot.God Bless you
Can I give you a little advice? never wear sandals when working in the shop with power tools. I subscribed to your channel.
Thank you for subscribing.
haha I thought the same thing, but watch any traditional Japanese craftsman and they're wearing flip flops or no shoes while sitting and holding wood with their feet while working the wood.
Very good job 👍 Could you give us the link for the red tools you use: spring clamp and the square ? Thanks
Thank you =) Search for 'Clamping Square' on Amazon to find similar products
Simple Nice and Useful you did a Great Job, Thanks for sharing and GOOD LUCK
Thanks you =)

that is amazing, do you mind to share the blueprint and sizes?
I think this man, team leader KIM doesn't understand English, maybe... I translate for you.

Improvised, no detailed drawings. The 3d illustration in the video is the entire drawing. Please refer to the picture. Thank you. :-)
Man, you scared me at 3:50. Thought you were gonna hit one of the countersunk screw heads.
The screw heads are deeply embedded and the saw blade is perfectly adjusted so it's okay =)
Hi there, Im looking ideas to build my on garage bench, and had watched a few videos, but man!! this is one of the best, best explained, step by step, and more than anything; affordable! thanks for sharing it.
Great video, nice clean practical workbench
wheres your table saw fence??? I guess yours doesnt attach to the back of the saw like mine does....
I used a sled, so I separated the fence for a while.
@@dekayscrafts I was referring to the lack of a gap in the back. I'm trying to design a similar set up but my saw requires space in back of the saw for the fence and rails...
@@GaryBowen73 I think there's another fence rail behind. If so, make a space for the fence to pass. See the video 'Homemade table with built saw' by Mr. Vereshchak.
that was my thought too. i would like to see a design for a full length rip fence to make it easier to rip sheet goods. I still miss my radial arm saw for that reason. I could have a really long stationary fence and just move the saw head to the desired cut. Made it so easy to rip a 4 x 8 sheet with only one person. I had full length indeed and outfeed tables. Really not as easy with a table saw
@@michaelprozonic Good info. I first saw a radial arm saw Why not use it? Do not manufacturers make this? It looks great when cutting large sheets.
What kind of drill bit are you using at 2:03 ?
It's Countersink bit =)
I built my own workbench after seeing this video. It was easy and quick and I am really happy with it. Thanks for this great tutorial. Christina
I am very happy to help you. Thank you. =)
Love the use of the speed square!
