Charlie Puth was not really familiar to me except in the collab he did with BTS at the awards show. I am an ARMY. However, in this interview I really appreciate how down to earth he is and the chemistry he has with JK in the behind the mv scenes and in the mv itself. Charlie Puth’s voice is really nice. US music gate keepers are not very open minded or kind to foreign non English speaking artists. That is sad. This is one of the better interviews while Charlie has been promoting this song. The questions were about the music and focused on what the fans want to know. Thanks for posting.
Charlie's and Jungkook's friendship is admirable, although gotta say the way the host asked some questions was ticking me off like that label question or the HIATUS question comparing to 1d like that was totally unnecessary , so unprofessional.
I agree. It's not even like BTS are on hiatus anyways. They will still be doing projects together as a group but the music focus will be on solo albums for the time being which is what a lot of kpop groups do.

There’s so many apps available on smartphones now that can immediately translate text or audio. I bet they make use of those. Because JK is an introvert around people he doesn’t know. But JK was totally comfortable and having a good time in the videos for this song. Can’t wait for the live performance whenever it happens.💜

Re: hiatus Bts, with more creative collaborations, single projects, freedom to write and produce. It’s just going to get better. The constraints and rules from their company lost their dictation. And it’s for the better. Props for the company for finding and arranging this super group. They’re letting them fly now. And it’s going to be spectacular. He is making a solo album but he loves being apart of BTS. So even if one day BTS leaves Bighit/HYBE I don't think he's ever going to leave BTS unless they all decide to break up in the future because they are like family to him. And how do you know maybe it's Jungkook's decision to not put out a lot of solo work? Maybe he's just very selective. But yes Jungkook is very talented and has already accomplished so much at 24. He really has a bright future ahead of him.

So basically he said that he succeeded to make somebody from bts to enter into more "durtier" style 🙄 not mentioning a bit what jungkook brought to the table which is a huge fandom resp huge popularity hense big money...oh wait a minute, he actually admitted it somewhat a minute after...
and jk gains his radio play and popularity in the us. it's a collab and they both gain from it.
First of all, it's a COLLABORATION. They wouldn't do it if wasn't beneficial for both of them. That's the basic reason for a collab. Charlie is releasing an album after almost 3 yrs and Jungkook is starting his solo career. They both chose the perfect artist for their career at this point. And they did it bcz THEY LIKE EACH OTHER'S MUSIC🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️.
It's a win win situation for both, but I found the way Charlie Puth described it not very flatering to JK.
In every interview he mentioned alot of how jungkooks voice is extremely good and he honestly love jungkooks voice!!! And he also mentioned in several interviews that he was overjoyed with happiness when jungkook said yes!!! Plus Charlie genuinely loves and respect jungkook and it shows. It's just only this interview he answered exactly what the int asked. Don't create any unnecessary fuel. not needed. 🤗
