I can still hear her laugh as I danced around the room with her. I don’t know at this point how I can carry on without my angel. However, I will tell you there is light at the end of the tunnel. In the case of a past relationship, know that they were not your person and they were only meant for a season. Your person is out there, go find them.

  • Absolutely adore this song. Creeps into my mind on occasion and I have to listen to it. Brings memories of a really difficult time flooding back for me. I was serving and deployed far from home for 7 months, left a brand new son and a fresh relationship behind. I'd lay listening to this song on an old CD Walkman in my bunk wondering if I'll ever get home. Hard times but that was almost 20 years back now, married the girl and made a good man out of my son. Life is good ❤

Lots of time. But each new day makes our pain subside a bit. 43 years have now passed in my case. My surviving twin daughter is 45 years old now and her older sister just turned 50. And somehow I am gladdened that I have been there all this time for them and for my beautiful wife. Amen

    • @@GlennMarshallnz I'd just like to mention that just because someone is filming something like this, it doesn't always mean that they're doing it just so it can be uploaded, but instead, it might be so they can look back at it in the future. I understand the importance of enjoying a moment at the time, but I think it's important to consider that maybe this song means so much to those younger people, that they would like a video so they can treasure it forever. I like to take videos when watching live music, not the entire time, because I do value the moment of being there, but it's nice to be able to look back at it years later when maybe the memory is a bit blurred, and you can experience it all over again.
