  • I'm loving the "other sports" ball series lol. But you didn't make 220, so you should get an actual Pyramid reactive ball and try to shoot 220 with it. New bowlers when asking about first balls of course are always steered towards the bigger brands (SPI, Bruns, Motiv), but I'm curious to see how they perform as low-budget starting balls. Part of the barrier to entry to the sport is cost (both gear and games), and seeing if Pyramid balls are actually viable for a beginner I think is a worthwhile video considering these balls usually go cheap ($80-100 range). My PSO charges $40 to drill a ball brought in, and one of those + drill is still cheaper than a Tropical Surge or other starter ball drilled in the same shop. Part of saving the sport is lowering barrier to entry, and hey we might find something that's "good enough"

    • @@coopergates9680 Buying used isn't always an option due to poor local availability, or again cost. The "buy used" argument is only as good as the local market. More readily-available information on an often-not-covered manufacturer can only help.

    • @@Terminal423Most of the used ones I've bought have been from across the country; the shipping cost usually ranges from $0 to $40. The antidote looks like an appealing ball for a number of styles; probably too much ball for me, though.

  • Great video. Keep up the creativity. You have the right idea. Now you need to get more pros to help you grow the recognition in their own game.All those discontinued balls are outrageously priced on ebay. Been there done that. 😂I have the AMF Micheal Jordan signature ball undrilled, still in the box. It has grooves in it where the black rubber is on a basketball and it makes it illegal to throw bc it will scuff up the lanes.

  • I just thought of something that would be a cool challenge. Find a bowling ball that looks like a baseball, get some friends and play a game. However, just like baseball if you get three strikes, you’re out and have to sit the rest of the game out! Well, obviously you don’t have to sit the rest of the game out playing baseball if you get three strikes. It’ll be also cool if you could find bowling balls that look like tennis balls, ping-pong, balls, racquetball, pinballs, dodgeball, etc..

  • You got 3-4 strikes on that line. Oil carry down because of plastic. Then it wouldnt hook ever again lol. Would have had to move left and give it the mega rotation and micro slow speed lol get around the carry down.
