i disagree. Sonny always have been extremely funny. The main channel is stiff and boring. 2nd channel is the original BFS, and the main channel was born after sonny got distracted after the Travel Channel pilot program. IMO, sonny should just cancel the main channel, and go back to his roots.

Sonny I have watched numerous videos of this place in Hong Kong, doesn't interest much but comparatively: NONE of said video content could EVER beat yours for the hilarious on the spot humor, fantastic editing, fast moving pace, thrilling content, and your worldly ability to taste and rate food is very trustworthy due to experience. You are my go to favorite since Bourdain (way different dark cynical moodiness) but you have the best unique clever and fun style, love this honest and humorous content, never leave!!!

Those white trays of food look very much like the food we as university students were fed back in the before the "mensa" (Latin for "table", and what the food halls for students are called in German universities) went cafeteria-style. The Korean chicken dish is normally bland because you need to dip the chicken meat in salt. Most Asian dishes are salty because it is paired with rice.

I often go a day or two without eating in normal life. No problem when going to places like this. The problem is the beer is still too expensive.

RE: Ddeok-boki in white sauce Sonny, My wife is a certified chef in Korea. I asked and she answered that she knows of one white sauce used on ddeok-boki in Korea: Cream with gochujang and sometimes sugar. No salt. Seemed to me that the gochujang would turn the sauce red or pink. My wife said that if that happens, add more cream.
they do have Tteokbokki like that in korea... called Carbonara Tteokbokki

Spiderman (Toby M.) and the amazing spiderman (Andrew G.) is owned by sony, however Spiderman (Tom H.) is Marvel studios that is now bought by Disney. you didnt try the Frozen restaurant swiss inspired food. and the Plaza Inn restaurant. they have really nice cold cuts. the duck is particularly interesting.
at the rendang, the veggies is called "acar". and the rhombus chicken is "Satar ayam"
I think you should going to Indonesia again and try Rendang again. So you will know Rendang it's not from Malaysia :)

Back when I lived in HK, my family usually avoided eating in the restaurants in HK Disney Land cuz it was too expensive. Just buy like some snacks and drinks and wait till we leave the place to eat. Usually eat a big meal before coming to hold for half a day and then a big meal afterwards leaving 😅

Traditionally, samgyetang (the chicken soup) is meant to be eaten with salt on the side. You dip the pieces of chicken into it. Don't ask me why Koreans don't just put the salt in the soup instead (shrug). It's earthy and quite delicious, despite the fact that it's boiled chicken. Cornish hen is even better.

You can probably find carbonara rice cakes in Korea but it’s not that common. Maybe like a Korean fusion Italian restaurant? I’ve def had it before
