Yea. The problems get solved when most of these players are gone from the club. They have proved they ain't good enough for years. We have a frankenstien squad. Look at Liverpool and arsenal. Neither where good enough. Its not like they were smashing it the whole time. Now that a better structure should be In place above, they can actually make a squad to compete. Look at both teams mentioned when the new manager came in and how well they where doing. Look at how many changes where made to them teams over season before they started challenging. That situation happens because we play coin flip football rather than putting a foot on the ball and calmly controlling a game. The style we play creates lots of space for mistakes

We don’t play enough one -twos, so the players are not used to it. It takes time for moments players to become team players. We are used to moments of magic by individuals but no intricate passes to open up defenses and create easy goals. Even Mbappe and Haaland would struggle in this team

Marcel has a point - But at the same time what players are we saying are the problem. Garnacho? Mainoo? Casemiro? Onana? Antony? Hojlund? Eriksen? 7/11 of the players that started vs Burnley were either his signings or he promoted to the squad. Granted - he wanted Frenkie De Jong as his first signing and base the team around (A ball progressing midfielder) and in return the board gave him a £70m Casemiro (Completely different type of player) 2 games in to the 22/23 season. Shambles. His 23/24 signing in MOUNT (£70m) has to be questioned? What was he bought for and to play where? He’s prob played like 7 games in total for the club since he’s arrived because he can’t stay fit and when he is fit he doesn’t even play? His number 1 CB signing has prob played 35/40% of games since he’s arrived (Martinez) & his partner Varane can’t stay fit to save one’s life. His LB who he wanted to play the season with (SHAW) let’s not get started with him.. Yes he’s been riddled with key injuries throughout the season.. BUT a big BUT.. Even teams like Burnley have a style of play.. these same players 7 of which are his.. don’t seem to have a clue? Why? Is the questioned that needs to be asked….

Even if there hadn't been a penalty, these performances are shite, and it's evident that Burnley were the better side anyway. The real issue that needs to be addressed is Ten Hag. 3 out of 4 domestic cup finals. 3rd and 7th. With the amount of absolute crud happening at the club during his time here, I don't think there is anybody who could have done better. The club is a mess and I don't think it is the managers fault for one moment. He is the first manager post SAF that I would invest time in. So much work needs to be done for us to become consistent. I don't want to start over again, we have one of the most promising managers in world football. The club itself is the issue. And please don't forget that the reason why is the same as always. @@SuhClovis it is a pattern with the team and u cannot blame the players only ...coaching is also involve in it...this is his second season with about 50% of the players from his buys...I am not saying sack the coach but he has to do better and ineos seriously need to adopt a style of play for the club and move in that direction with players buy and coach changes if needs be
KG is right - players are put into a position where they have to make a decision. But a good coach limits this decision making. He has the team well drilled to NOT be in a basketball match where players are making these decisions TOO many times

It's silly to expect a goalkeeper to not go for the header when that was the express intent of Casemiro's header. The only reason we are talking about it because Case and Onana fumbled the execution. A better header would have turned this into a non-issue. Also, as a massive De Gea fan, I find it funny because weren't our fans berating DDG because he doesn't come out of his goalline? As a goalkeeper who is championed as a more attacking, positive-minded goaltender, it falls completely along the lines for Onana's playstyle to come out to possibility punch or grab the ball before it could be a potential threat (we have near post goals conceded far too often than my liking). Yes, today the blame will be shared by Casemiro and Onana, but why put your keeper in that situation in the first place. Bad decision by Casemiro imo.
