Love this new Range Rover. Of course I can’t afford it. But no money needed to love it. ❤ Fallen in love at first sight when it came out. They have shown how to make a suv or a car look gorgeous and modern without making it alien. Simplicity is the best. Elegant and sleek. Have to work harder to get it someday.
Well said brother
Escalade definitely looks cool and just badass, but the Range Rover is just in a plane of its own to the point where this comparison feels unfair.
Not a great car lol
This was just a bias video honestly. A lot of features he didn’t say about the Escalade.
18:19 Such a nice conclusion, I used to own a 2014 autobiography LWB RR. This car is amazing and good for everyday use. The car is solid as well as it looks. The thing I regret the most in the past few years is that I sold RR and got 2017 G63 and now Bentayga, RR is still the best in these three. Very stable while at high speed(170mph), it could go light off-road and won’t get stuck and It's relatively low-key that you can drive it to anywhere without getting people’s attention. Some people might concerned about it’s quality, tbh the only two issues I had for owning two years is blurred screen(only once while I shift the gear to Rear, fix the problem after restart the engine) and un-lockable trunk door. Not too bad compare with my Bentayga🤷
Range Rovers always offer the best seats on the market, because you will inevitably need them when you and your family are waiting for the tow truck.
Drive a range rover u will be hoked ....don't have to be a new one just makes u feel special
Range Rover all day sleek classy.
The presence on Escalade . . . Just cant resist.
Cadillac is more practical for a long range suv The Range Rover is total luxury but it’s not as practical as the Cadillac
Range rover means a class ❤
FACTS 🎯
The LWB escalade is so nice actually. All blacked out. its looks so classy on the road. The RR is nice too but id take the escalade for longevity
Love your review - Escalade tech is awesome but I’m in love with these Range Rovers. Such incredible everyday cars.
I heard the Land Rover's driver's door slam (11:35) at least ten times! That sense of luxury and heaviness cannot be felt in American cars!
My 2018 RR LWB had an automatic side step. Im not sure if that one in video just does not have the option or they removed the option...
Everbody would love the range rover but the reliability issue is always there The Cadillac has a tried and true LS engine that is guaranteed to last at least 200000 miles plus a truck platform Sitting on the side of the road isn’t a good look for someone with this kind of income Again the Range Rover is a beautiful vehicle, just needs attention to its mechanical parts
Thanks and you right, the RR is different
FYI you can get automatic deployable sidesteps on the RR and definitely should have put it in access mode if you are doing a comparison for ease of accessibility. I love my ‘24 P530e but also like the Escalade… would love to drive an Escalade V sometime
ESCALADE ALL DAY!!!!
That intro is « pumping iron»! Should have lasted a little bit more reps on the bench press given that dynamic soundtrack! Great review!
Glad you liked it!
Great review. So between the Yukon Denali & the RR SPORT, which would you choose?
That’s a tough one but it money was no issue, RR
@@SamCarLegion thx 4 your reply! Yeh I thought so too
The two best SUV in the market 💘👊👊🏋🏋
Range Rover for me, but I live in Europe so I’d have a D350 instead of the P530.
The Escalade V has more Hp and available in extended wheelbase and is still far cheaper than the RR. To the credit of the RR, it is a true, off-road capable vehicles with a Bentley interior. While the Escalade is gussied up upper middle-class vehicle. BTW, the refrigerator option is available in the Escalade.
I think RR has a fridge in the 4 seater LWB option

Range Rover autobiography is my favorite SUV and my dream 😍😍
this channel is criminally underrated....
Sorry but was not a Cadillac fan but looked at both and I got 22 Escalade, but not in black I got the red loaded. To me it came down to maintenance and technology in vehicles
Range rover🔥🔥🔥
It’s not about practicality in these cars but which one is bigger so people could start to take you seriously which brings me to the point that both of these are to small,I would go with RAM Mammoth
Omg I can't control my Saul laugh 💀😂😂😂
There is no way I would take the Range over the Escalade V ESV
Quality is top notch!!
Escalade is nice, but it’s not even in the same league as the Range Rover.
Is the range rover gonna make you live longer? Is it gonna make you more money? Is it going to get you more girls? At this point just drive what you want and enjoy it.
@@vanguard4065 what do any of those things matter ? If your successful enough to afford these rigs, those aren’t questions you ask
@@vanguard4065 this has to be one of the most bizarre responses I’ve ever seen.
The sound system alone blows the Range completely out of the water. Have you ever been in a Escalade in your life before? 😂
Disagree. They actually are in the same league because they're both the top land yachts of their kind. Escalade is the nicest American suv and Range is the coolest euro one. Both you can get for around $100,000. Both you see in rich communities and drive ways. Just 2 different approaches to luxury. I myself would get an escalade. More room, more dominant presence, more flashy, cheaper to maintain, better reliability, better sound system, more seats, massage chairs, supercruise, bigger screens etc
Good information, like the video. This channel is underrated, just liked and subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
RR ❤️❤️❤️
I’ll choose the Esclade every time❤
Escalade is king 👑 Range Rover is his queen 👑
Another top notch video Sam🙌🏼 nice comparison, good ol’ 🇺🇸 vs 🇬🇧
Thank you

@@SDN117 bruh
@@SDN117 JLR is a British car brand owned by TaTA… that doesn’t make it an Indian car brand! Otherwise Lamborghini would actually be German not Italian along with many other car brands owned by foreign investors.
i think some of your info is lacking but imo i still think the escalade is better. the interior layout, the price, and the longevity is better than the range rover. and you get a fridge with freezer mode in the escalade as well as a transfer case for 4wd hi / low. the escalade also tows 8200 lbs on 2wd models.
The rover also has a cooler
I tell you from an European perspective and the Range it's more luxurious and modern to my eyes and many others. Cadillacs are very uncommon even more than a Range
rover tows 8200 has hi and low better offroad maybe not longevity though
@@Slainself A cooler and a fridge/freezer are two different things😒
@@tajigang139 please speak facts not lies and speculation, Range doesn't have hi and lows its not really designed for offroad either despite some little offroad features, thats why they make the Defender and Discovery
Hello, you missed some points in the Escalade, and it also has a cooler/freezer even in the center console. The only downside to it against the Range Rover is the 2nd row seats which have less options compared.
Sam I am in a dilemma right now. Not sure if I should pre order the GLI or kick my ego to the curb and get the CRV. Both to me are similar in pricing, but not sure if I want to spend a lot on the GLI even if its more for performance. However the CRV even with the turbo engine, still feels weak from watching videos but is more functional.
Crv more reliable
Gli trash 🗑
I like GLI a lot, great car. But comparing to CRV is pretty far from GLI. It all comes down to your needs.
@@issavibez394 ah why do you say its trash?
@@backtoshallabal6662 cause he has never driven one
I thought the escalades magnetic ride control can eliminate bumps completely... and eliminates nose diving and body leaning, so you can virtually drink a cup of coffee while drive aggressively without it even spilling So how does the range compare to that ? That would be a real demonstration
How does the cadilac offer 8 seats with 3 rear 2 middle and 2 in the front?
I love the Range Rover, but I would only ever lease one. This was also backed up by my JLR dealer friend.
Nice fair review, pro's/ cons of each vehicle. I can't say which is better although I think the RR will age better.👏
I always thought the Escalade looked better than the range on the exterior. Now I think aesthetically the Escalade has a nicer interior too. The Escalade will definitely hold up better as well. The range may use higher quality materials meaning it’s leathers and woods but ehhhh overall I’ll take the Escalade. I never totally understood the Range Rover hype tbh
I don't either. He over hyped the Range. Ive been in many cars and the whole "higher quality" thing is a lie most times. Its leather at the end of the freaking day. Its the padding underneath that matters most. Plus the escalade is a truck. It can tow. No one would dare want to tow consistently with a Rover. The maintenance would kill ya.
He also lied the Escalade tows 8,400 pounds. And with the engine being way more reliable you can tow for more time than the Rover.
@@MrSupersaiyangoku Interior of the Range Rover is nicer - aura of luxury. Reliability kills any appeal though as you would have to be quite literally retarded to buy it straight up or keep it after warranty, unless money is no object
@@jcp4350 there is no such thing as Aura of luxury knock it off. Most wealthy people don’t even buy range rovers. It’s just biased for one over priced car over another
The Escalade distinctive arts and science design is like no other SUV on the road. You can see it coming a mile away and immediately recognized it, day or night.
RR looks better inside and out, but it’s longevity is an issue.
Nope. Range is better exterior and interior both
Range Rover >>>>> all suv
Escalade is nice but compared to celestiq and lyriq, needs a refresh to compete with the bold rivals. Cadillac has the resources but needs to work on implementing them.
Those are evs
Wade depth, living near a hurricane-prone area, is the only thing that would make me pick a Range. But more for your buck with the Escalade, for sure.
Give me the space and the better dependability over the smaller Rover any day. I know too many technicians that say stay away from Rovers
I want this vehicle 🔥
An Escalade isn't the same goal as a RR respectfully. You're supposed to hear the engine noise in a Escalade. The RR is nice, but it's overrated. Between it's reliability. Many people sweat it because of it being British, but could make the argument, with the cost you should have used the Escalade V. Great vid.
It's something about the Escalade presence that seems so much more attractive. I'm not going to lie, that Range Rover is looking really good though. But my choice will still be the Escalade. I've always had a soft spot for Escalade's.
I’ll take the Cadillac. The interior looks far nicer to me. The RR interior looks dated. The center screen looks like an after thought. I like the outside looks of the RR a little bet better. But, overall the Caddie is a far better choice. Lastly RR would be expensive to maintain.
Love from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳 ❤❤
Apples and Oranges. Compare RR to ESV then we shall see.
It is a crime to even compare the two. Range Rover is not an ordinary car like the Escalade.
That's why I own six RANGEROVERs but one ESCALADE. and additional one is ordered since REZVANI is professionally armored ESCALLADE. technically 2 ESCALADEs and 6 RANGEROVERs. 3:1
Why the fuck you lying
@5:19 put it in access mode and it won't be so bloddy high 😂
You need to try both cars to give fair feedback... i tried both... i liked both... both are amazing on street... but RR has higher edge in all aspects.
I have reviewed the Cadillac Escalade probably 15 times and I drove it that week so I do know the difference between the two of them
Nope buddy. Power, interior, exterior all better and range is super luxury and reliable
That range rover rover can be spec out to have everything the escalade has. Deployable foot steps, upgraded meridian 3d surround system.
Both SUVs are nice but I like the Range Rover more because the lighter interior I can't stand black interior it is so depressing to be in a dark room I rather have white leather or beautiful tan leather🙏🏿❤️🥰🥰
Interior options are a available for both. No luxury suv comes with black interior as the only option
fast food vs cuisine 😅
GIANT STEAK vs overpriced horderves
Escalade only problems are electrical the engines are easy to fix Range it's everything lol
Caddy for the double u!
Escalade any day over Range Rover.
Watching this knowing I would never be able to afford either and also don't need the extra space 😂
Range Rover got the rearview camera mirror from _Cadillac,_ the same place they got their taillights. 😎
Actually that’s where you’re wrong. The Range Rover evoque was the first car to have this. Cadillac followed in land rover’s footsteps. Like everyone else tries to do.
@@benspyropoulos1775 Lol. Everyone knows Tata Motors likes to license GM technology and incorporate into their products as their own. Range Rover was also one of the first to feature magnetic ride control - but we all know where that originated (GM & Delphi). So again…WHERE DID RR GET THESE NEW TAILLIGHTS FROM?? 😂
@@mybro727 oh these taillights don’t even look similar. So did Volvo also steal these taillights form Government motors. I mean General Motors? I’ll answer it for you, no they didn’t
You did not show the fridge in the Range Rover
The Range Rover doesn’t compete with the Escalade. If anything the Range Rover competes with the x7 and GLS. The Escalade competes with the Navigator and Wagoneer. That being said I think the Escalade and X7 are the leaders in their respective class. I own an Escalade and I can tell you that it is simply a Tahoe in a tuxedo. Drives great and is extremely capable due to it’s truck under pinning but as far as interior it slightly falls short of a Mercedes and BMW. Can’t really anything about the Range Rover as I would never dare buy one.
Range rover compets with bentayga and glsmaybach
you obviously don't know luxury suvs
Damn im so confused on which one to get. Any suggestions fellas??
Personally, I would go with the Escalade. It's the presence of boldness when driving an Escalade.
I may be biased but until I start seeing Lyriq’s and eventually Celestiqs cruising around, *nothing* else on the road looks as opulent or unique as the Cadillac Escalade.
@@mybro727 I concur to this comment.
They both are amazing machines, but you were a bit biased for the RR throughout your review. You’re normalizing the Escalade as if it’s a Toyota vehicle.
I have seen more cadillacs last over 130k miles than any rover
Even over 200k....
Yea but these are usually leased, and I would lease a big body Range over an Escalade any day
Exactly 💯. Good luck in the shop with the Rover.
My Range Rover has 224k miles and I love her.
Stop the cap
what's the intro song ?
It’s a paid song by Motionarray
Escalade for me any day = EPIC 🏆
At 5:21. Just lower the air suspension. Easy fix.
The escalade is like driving a mammoth into the road and i dont like big beefy cars i want normal one so i like range rover more
The last gen escakde looed awesome. The current one just looks like a peterbilt. I like the yukon denali better than the escalade.
The RR is a great SUV, but the Escalade is simply gorgeous and beautifully crafted inside and out. Giant dominator.
It's nothing in the road light de Cadillac escalade 💫👑🏆 is the king is very Hanso
How does Escalade has total 8 seats? 2 in the middle, 3 at the back and 2 in the front.
You can opt for a 8 seater. 3+3+2
Love it
You already confessed that the RR will continue to break down…now seriously? Plus you can get an extended Escalade.
Escalade is basically a truck rover isn't that's why so more space in escalade
Which means the Escalade can tow (7300 lb) your boat or trailer.
@@krane15 yes
Interesting. I see a lot of comments about the Escalade "lasting", yeah if you mean it will start and run for longer sure, but like any other GM SUV it will be a rattle trap when the miles really pile on and the interior will feel like shit like any other GM product.
You’re showing _your_ age. When’s the last time you owned a new GM product? Was Busch still in office?? Outdated perspective for sure.
@@mybro727 And you are showing your ignorance. I know plenty of people who own GM products of the last few years and as they age they still feel loose and raggedy like they always have. The problem is the bar is low for these people, long as it starts and runs they think something is quality as it rattles down the road.
@@mybro727 well my 16 CTS has 143k miles. Runs great and no lights on the dash.
You do get a cooler with the Escalade they were the first to do that
The Range Rovers have coolers too. I have one in my Range Rover Sport
Like your watch Sam
I still would choose Cadillac! Cheaper and much more reliable! They say lease RR but dont buy them!
The Escalade would have a cheaper long term cost of ownership value.
The escalades come with coolers in the center console ...
HAHHAHAHAHAH I did laugh. Beef up dem V8's boys.
The range rover does have a reclining step. You just have to option it
Wait but you CAN get a cooler in the Escalade!
Hello cameraman or editor - more light would be better.
Cadillac ESV has nothing that runs against it in size or luxury, plain and simple. The regular one, of course, its smaller. If you want to compare these two, use the Esclade V lol.
Size has comparables. Luxury is subjective though. When i see an escalade i think of an uber x driver and taxi drivers. when i see a range i see more class because it is not associated with uber x drivers and taxi companies
Cadillac ❤️
The RR seems more luxury and eloquent the Cadillac inside looks so cheape. The Cadillac has better spacing and more roomy for big person and a big family like me
Escalade 🔥🔥🔥
Low profile tyres are never off road. I don't know why engineers of suv approve these low profile tyres which negate the whole capability
Esclade ❤
Much rather have the Escalade
