I think that's shows your skills as an interviewer. You have to be able to clearly communicate in a way that somebody who is not an English first speaker will still understand you, and you have to give time and listen as well

Couldn't agree more. It just makes Canelo more relatable, not just to his people but to everyone who is a fan. Kinda reminds me of Pacquiao and how very little English Pacquiao spoke early in his career but went on to be come one of the most beloved fighters in boxing.

After fighting Floyd Canelos head movement elevated to be the top of the sport where it was a after fought prior and during the Mayweather fight. Like you said tho no excuses Floyd schooled the guy literally but Saul learned a lot in defeat!

I think this is the best interview Ive seen with Canelo in English. Was very surprised he said he does not like watching boxing, thats very interesting considering his passion for doing it so well.
He speaks English EXTREMELY well imo here and in general.
